First Demonic Dragon

462 Settled In?

Standing outside of Abaddon's bedroom door was one individual whom he always wanted to see, and another whom he barely wanted to see.

One was a cute young girl of around fourteen years age who had a permanent mischievous glint in her red eyes.

Though he was used seeing her covered in blood, as of right now she was wearing a cute little bunny onesie, complete with floppy ears and a little tail.

The other was a giant bat monster who had shrunk himself to the size of a doberman to appear more cute and friendly.

"Good morning, little one." Abaddon hugged Mira with a tight enough grip to crush a car, and she returned his gesture with one of her own.

"C-Can Camazotz have a hug too?" the bat asked with surprisingly wide eyes.

"Of course Daddy will hug you!" Mira volunteered.

"Glorious!"

Abaddon wanted to tell Mira to stop placing him in these sort of perilous situations, but he did not know if it would do any good in the end.

Instead of fully hugging the bat god, he playfully ruffled the fur and ears on top of it's head and called it a day.

Luckily, Camazotz seemed to have no problem with this.

"M-Master has actually bestowed his touch upon Camazotz... Camazotz is unworthy to receive such a gift!!"

"Yes, yes. It is the least I can do since you seem to be taking your role as Mira's pet so seriously."

At this, Mira nodded furiously. "He's a good pet! I was going to introduce him to Entei and have the two of them play together!"

Abaddon imagined that the foo dog wouldn't exactly be all that thrilled to suddenly have a rival appear out of nowhere, but he would spare telling his daughter that in the hopes that something funny would happen.

"Oh right! Cama has a special diet so can you feed him?" Mira asked.

At the mention of food, the bat god straightened up onto all fours and pretended to be the goodest boy ever created.

Sensing no real harm in it, Abaddon sighed as he crossed his arms.

"Fine then. Does he have a bowl?"

- On the rooftop garden

"...This is absolutely not a bowl."

Abaddon was staring at a metal trough made of pure ice that was at least thirteen feet long and deep enough to completely submerge a full grown hog.

"But I made it for him because he has such a big appetite! He says that he used to eat upwards of 1,000 humans a night before he was banned from earth!"

At Mira's side, Camazotz nodded furiously.

*Sigh* "Well.. since you went through the trouble to make it for him."

Temporarily, Abaddon grew into a larger, more infamous form.

A black dragon with seven heads and an underbelly that seemed to be made from a swirling cosmos.

His menacing multi-eyed wings were folded into his back, and this combined with the fact that he had the lower body of a serpent made it easy to mistake him for some kind of superior species of naga.

In reality, Abaddon's true form was the amalgamation of western and eastern dragon philosophy.

Both devilish and divine, the embodiment of ruin and sanctity.

This was the first time that Camazotz had ever seen Abaddon as a dragon before, and it had a profound effect of him.

He was unaware of the fact that the only reason he was not currently mad with fear was because he had already taken Abaddon's blood.

However, there was one particular spot that he felt he absolutely must not look at.

The large demonic eye in the center of Abaddon's chest that was always open, and always seemed to be watching.

He could not explain it, but every cell and hair follicle on his body was screaming at him to not look into that eye for longer than a moment.

He knew not what would happen if he broke this covenant, but he was absolutely certain of the fact that doing so would be the beginning of a fate worse than death.

Abaddon pricked his finger once, and the drop of blood that fell out was enough to fill the entire trough in an instant.

When he changed back to normal, the spell that he seemed to hold over Camazotz was immediately broken.

So much god blood!!

It was more than he had ever seen in his life, and more glorious than the rising sun!

The smell alone was incomparable to any other sanguine throughout the incalculable realities!

"T-... T-Thank you for the food!"

Like a fat man at a pie eating contest, Camazotz dunked his head into the trough and began gulping down blood like he was trying to get it to pay his rent for the month.

"Cama, slow down!" Mira chided. "You can't eat like that or you'll get-"

"Bwa!" 20 seconds after he first started drinking, Camazotz removed his head from the icy trough, his face covered in golden nectar and a look of bewilderment on his face.

"T-This cannot be! Camazotz only just started eating! He cannot be full!"

Lured over by the noise, Enti and Bagheera suddenly appeared from the bushes.

As soon as Entei saw Camazotz next to Mira, he let out a disapproving bark.

Roughly translated, he said ; 'Who the fuck is this bitch?'

Sensing things were about to get ugly, Abaddon decided to leave and finally go and meet the gods brought last night.

But since he was in a pet mood, he decided to take his locust along for the ride, just incase one of these gods needed their head bitten off.

-

The world of Sheol currently has three layers.

The Sleeping Plains, where the dead rest peacefully free from the burden of life, The Spirit Lands, home to this world's original inhabitants, and the floating land where the dragons reside, affectionately named Apollonir.

However, for the first time ever, Apollonir had little islands floating just off the north eastern edge.

Abaddon flew towards these islands on the back of Bagheera, and saw that their were six large ones, with some smaller pieces of land floating in orbit.

On these lands, the gods had taken the liberty of creating various structures with symbolism from their different pantheons.

Some gods were living together, in one giant temple created from numerous divine magics.

Others were living in more isolated domains, with homes floating on a couple acres of land.

Abaddon and Bagheera landed on top of the greek domain; right in front of their pure white temple.

As soon as he and his locust landed on the grass, he felt presences approaching him from inside.

The first two women to appear from the arching doorway were Persephone and her mother Demeter, both of whom were walking hand in hand and looking like the closest mother-

daughter pair.

When Abaddon saw them approaching, he gave the women a moderately friendly smile that they had never seen before.

They weren't sure what took them by more surprise, the charming smile the likes of which none other could compare, or the nightmarish beast he was riding on top of.

"Good to see that you both have settled in. I'm sure my lovely Lillian gave you all an adequate run of the place."

"Ah... yes."

"She was... helpful. And your son is very cute."

"Isn't he? I wonder why that old bastard Zeus would ever see fit to trap someone like him underneath a mountain."

The eyes of both women practically ejected from their skulls.

THAT adorable little baby that they saw last night... was the hundred headed horror who tried to destroy Olympus.

The difference between the two forms was like night and day.

Straga was powerful enough when he was jut a primordial beast, but with godhood now coursing through his veins... there was no telling how far he could grow.

It was scary.... but his cheeks were so chunky looking!

"Ah, sorry." Abaddon realized. "This is my friend, Bagheera. Say hello, boy."

The locust made a scoffing noise and Abaddon's gaze narrowed.

"Don't be like that. You could at least let them pet you, ya know?"

"Groh." (It's two things I've never seen. A turtle with speed, and a bitch I need.)

"You're spending entirely too much time with Thea."

"Ba!" (That's my bestie for restie!)

"This is exactly what I mean." Abaddon grumbled.

After seeing Abaddon talk to the creature so freely, Persephone and Demeter were not as afraid as before.

They gradually inched closer, no doubt intrigued by this strange creature that was unlike any monster they had ever seen.

The sections of Apollonir wilderness that they had seen were teeming with monsters and animals alike, some of whom were cute and others who were...not so cute.

Bagheera was on the latter end of the spectrum, but they were certainly curious about why his size and intelligence seemed to be so extraordinarily high.

"This... creature of yours. What do you call it?" Persephone asked.

"A locust."

"Like the insects?"

Immediately, Bagheera made the closest face to a look of betrayal possible. "Bwa?!" (You named my race after fucking bugs!?!"

Abaddon looked away and started to whistle inconspicuously.

Persephone and Demeter didn't quite seem to understand what was going on, but they knew the look of someone who stepped in something accidentally when they saw it.

Honestly... it was rather interesting to see him behave like this.

Before, he always seemed like some sort of malevolent ruler who was as unpredictable as a raging storm and 1,000,000 times more dangerous.

But now he kind of seemed like a relatively easygoing man, whose air and steps contained a very distinct lightness and tranquility.

It was non-oppressive, and content.

"You're in love." Demeter realized.

Abaddon paused temporarily, and showed the girls a true, happy smile that only came out when the subject of his wives came up.

"I am. Is it so easy to-"

"YOU FUCKER!!"

Out of nowhere, a woman appeared underneath the arch of the greek temple.

Her flaming black hair was burning as brightly as a miniature sun, and her face was as red as a cherry tomato.

"GET ME OUT OF THIS SHIT HOLE RIGHT NOW! THIS PLACE FUCKING SUCKSSSS!!!!"
