Fox in the Penalty Area

Private stuff about recent chapters

These chapters can be regarded as mixed with private work.

Of course, it is not completely unrelated to the novel itself, because from a plot perspective, it is indeed necessary to seriously explain the development process of Chinese football in the book.

Compared with simply writing about the development of domestic football, I chose to use a documentary to show the world in the book from such a perspective, the development and dilemma of Chinese campus football - not just singing triumphal songs, but watching Beneath the flower-like appearance, there is actually danger hidden.

This means that the football reform that started in 2015 will continue, and no one can rest on the laurels of "reaching the World Cup finals for two consecutive years".

There is no day when reform ends successfully. Because we always have to adapt to the changes of the times and constantly adjust.

So reform must continue forever.

The parts about youth training concepts in these chapters are not entirely my thoughts. I drew on the views of a football youth training UP owner at Station B, including some examples taken from his videos.

Because I saw some ridiculous praise for me in the comments, I want to make a special note here:

This is not my credit, I dare not take it as my own.

This UP host is called "Qiu Zhi". He doesn't post many videos, but he inspires me a lot and I benefit a lot. If you are interested, you can follow him and watch all his videos.

Recently, my wife and I have been using our summer vacation to correct our children's study habits, so after watching the video of the "Qiu Zhi" UP host, we particularly resonated with him.

For example, it is about cultivating young players to correctly read and understand the game, so that they can master the correct way of playing football.

I was very touched.

Because I think the most important thing in educating children to learn is to teach them correct study habits.

As long as you can develop good habits, you can benefit from it whether you are in primary school, junior high school, high school, or university.

After all, before the third grade of elementary school, parents can still do their homework with them. What next? How can parents help their children with homework that they don’t know how to do?

But if a child can learn to master correct study habits, he will not need parental guidance.

I think football training is the same.

Now you tell the young players that long passes and lobs can win the ball, so they practice long passes and lobs.

What should I do when I get older and find that I can’t win with long passes?

Will there be others?

Not anymore.

That's it.

But if you practice reading competitions from an early age,

After mastering the correct way to play the game, players will be able to handle it in the future, whether it is long passes, defensive counterattacks, passing and controlling...

Football is actually a sport that requires a lot of thinking.

Because football matches are constantly fighting against people, and fighting against people requires wisdom.

Relying on rigid tricks may be useful when facing machine programs, but it won't work when facing people.

The story of someone who practiced in seclusion for decades and then conquered the world with just one move can only appear in fantasy novels.

Football is science. If you don't play it according to scientific rules, you will lose or it won't work well.

During this time, my child also happened to be participating in the Chengdu Youth Campus Football League, but he was in the atmosphere team and a substitute in the school team. He basically ran around blindly - I had already known that he had no football talent. I've accepted it, so I'm not disappointed with his performance.

But I went to watch their last game this afternoon, and the opponent took advantage of the kick-off opportunity and kicked it directly from the center circle.

So our side also followed suit and shot directly from the kick-off.

After another six goals were scored by the opponent, our team finally took advantage of the kick-off opportunity to score directly, avoiding the fate of being shaved off by the opponent.

Of course, the opponent also took advantage of the kick-off opportunity after losing the ball to try to shoot directly, but this time it failed.

The football just flew back and forth in the air.

After the game, players from both sides followed the procedure and thanked each other, saying: "Learn from your opponents..."

I then thought about the scene where we all kicked off the ball and shot in the game. I really learned from my opponents. Well done...
