On the screen.

The robber also noticed Peter's distraction. The pitiful, begging expression on his face changed, and he re-aimed the gun at Peter's brow, grinning hideously and cruelly.

At this moment, Peter finally understood that some evils were unforgivable. The complexity and struggle in his eyes were completely drowned out by a surge of anger.

Peter suddenly grabbed the robber's right hand, twisted it sharply, and the wrist became like twisted dough. Realizing he'd kicked a steel plate, the robber, terrified and panicked, stumbled backward repeatedly. He tripped over himself, fell backward, crashed out the window, and died instantly.

Despite successfully avenging, Peter didn't feel the slightest joy.

Peter didn't go home. Instead, he sat on a gargoyle on a high-rise building, bathed in moonlight, quietly watching the tranquil city before him.

The hazy moonlight outlined his figure, a touch of melancholy and sorrow spreading across the large screen.

Meanwhile, the Green Goblin appeared, maniacally attacking the military's experimental base, slaughtering everyone and leaving no survivors.

Meanwhile, Peter finally awakened to the truth of what Uncle Ben had tried to tell him: With great power comes great responsibility. He decided to don the suit once more and punish evil and promote good in New York.

Wherever there was crime, Spider-Man would appear.

In the blink of an eye, Spider-Man became a hot topic.

Although many people considered him a hero, some thought he was a troublemaker. Perhaps he just wanted to be famous and staged those crimes himself. Maybe he was a criminal himself; otherwise, why would he wear a mask?

Public opinion was divided, putting Spider-Man in the eye of the storm.

But, remember, this is a movie about growing up, not a superhero movie. Peter's real life continued.

After graduating from high school, Peter and Harry found an apartment in Manhattan, became roommates, entered society, and looked for jobs.

Peter hoped to become a freelance photographer, but obviously, it wasn't easy, especially without a college degree; the situation was even more difficult.

Unexpectedly, Peter ran into Mary Jane on the street, looking rushed and troubled. Effortlessly, Peter recognized the girl again.

They stood on the street chatting. At first, Mary Jane tried to hide the truth, saying she was auditioning as an actress, but she was quickly exposed by a colleague—

In fact, she was now working as a waitress.

But Peter's attitude didn't change at all. He continued to encourage Mary Jane to pursue her dreams and believed she would definitely become an actress.

Bright, sunny, determined.

Mary Jane's fatigue and embarrassment gradually subsided in Peter's presence.

However, when Peter learned that Mary Jane was dating Harry, his expression dimmed slightly, and a hint of bitterness appeared in his blue eyes.

To find a job, Peter had to find a way to take pictures of himself as Spider-Man and rely on these photos to find a job as a freelance photographer at the 'Daily Bugle.' Life seemed to be slowly getting back on track.

If there were no surprises, students would enter society after graduation and then gradually be molded into the same monotonous shape by work and reality, eventually becoming the very thing they once hated.

But, surprises still happened—

The Green Goblin appeared, wreaking havoc like the Monkey King creating chaos in the heavens.

Norman was about to be kicked out of the company he had created with his own hands and poured all his efforts into. This decision would be announced after the World Unity Festival held by his company.

Then, the Green Goblin appeared—

Completely disregarding the innocent crowd at the scene, including a large number of children, he threw bombs at the high-rise buildings on one side of the square. Rocks and debris flew everywhere, falling towards the crowded square below, causing complete chaos.

But this still couldn't stop the Green Goblin.

The Green Goblin's attention was entirely on the VIP lounge, because all the members of the company's board of directors were there, and of course, Harry and Mary Jane were there too.

Harry had always refused to let Mary Jane meet his father. He worried that his father might find fault, he worried that Mary Jane might become another reason for his father to dislike him; at this World Unity Festival, he finally plucked up the courage to bring Mary Jane and was finally ready to meet his father.

As a result, they didn't wait for Norman. Instead, they encountered a disaster.

The Green Goblin once again threw bombs at the VIP lounge, instantly turning the board members into skeletons and destroying the balcony, further creating chaos.

Amid the wails and cries for help, Harry was knocked unconscious by the rubble, and Mary Jane was hanging on the crumbling balcony, her life hanging by a thread, isolated and helpless.

Peter, who had come to the World Unity Festival to take photos for the 'Daily Bugle,' witnessed everything and naturally had no reason to stand idly by. He transformed into Spider-Man once again and appeared on the scene—

Although Mary Jane was in grave danger and Peter was anxious, he still controlled himself. He had to stop the Green Goblin. After a hard fight, he used his web to blind the Green Goblin, barely forcing him back, but he couldn't attend to both, and he didn't have time to stop the balcony from collapsing. Mary Jane fell from the sky.

Gasp.

The entire screening room gasped.

At the critical moment, Peter jumped down in a diving posture, miraculously catching Mary Jane just before she hit the ground, completing the rescue in the last second.

Then, Peter held Mary Jane tightly and swung through the city, finding a rooftop garden bar before bringing Mary Jane back to the ground.

Although Mary Jane was very curious about Spider-Man's identity, Peter didn't say anything, leaving a silhouette, waving his sleeves, and leaving gracefully.

This was a sleepless night.

Mary Jane couldn't sleep, Harry couldn't sleep, probably only Peter could get a good night's sleep.

Of course, and Norman.

Norman woke up groggily until dawn, but he had no memory of yesterday at all, didn't know what had happened, but found a voice in his mind—

An evil voice.

Looking at the evil personality in the mirror, Norman realized that he was the Green Goblin, that he had personally killed the board members, and that no one could stop him.

Norman was also struggling. He tried to resist the temptation of the Green Goblin, he tried to regain his sanity, but in the end, he still embraced the darkness like a fallen angel:

Perhaps, only one person can stop me; but, what if that person is willing to join me?

Then, together, they could rule the world!

So, the Green Goblin appeared again.

—The 'Daily Bugle' newsroom.

The editor-in-chief was confronting Peter.

Obviously, the editor-in-chief believed that the Green Goblin and Spider-Man were in cahoots, that the World Unity Festival was just a performance, a good show put on by the two of them together.

No matter how Peter defended Spider-Man, he couldn't change the editor-in-chief's mind. He firmly believed that these masked guys were all bad guys.

Then, the Green Goblin interrupted the conversation, grabbing the editor-in-chief and demanding to know who took the photos of Spider-Man. He was trying to catch Spider-Man through the photographer.

At this moment, Spider-Man appeared to rescue the editor-in-chief.

The editor-in-chief exclaimed, Look, you really are in cahoots.

The Green Goblin took advantage of Spider-Man's distraction to block the editor-in-chief's mouth and fired anesthetic smoke at Spider-Man, directly knocking him unconscious and taking him away.
