From Kamal Taj to Hogwarts
Chapter 120 Credence vs Dumbledore
While Sivan and Newt were heading to Urxtager Prison, Dumbledore was strolling leisurely through the streets of Berlin.
Snowflakes fell from the sky from time to time, paving the streets and alleys with a layer of white velvet carpet.
The white velvet carpet cannot stay for a long time. The snow on the road has been swept to both sides of the road, mixed with the mud on the original ground, and has become no longer white, and is piled up messily around the lampposts on the roadside.
Dumbledore waded through the melting snow on the street and stopped in front of a shop window.
Through the reflection of the store glass, he saw a young man with long unkempt hair hanging down his shoulders.
Dumbledore hid his wand in his sleeve and quietly cast a spell he had just learned on a piece of falling snowflakes.
The snowflakes turned into countless shards of glass, passing over Dumbledore's shoulders, flying over the cars driving on the street, and finally hit the eyebrows of the young man with unkempt long hair, and then turned into steam and dissipated in the air.
Dumbledore buttoned the wand in his sleeve and turned to face the young man.
"Good morning, Credence," he said with a smile.
"My name is Aurelius Dumbledore!" Credence refuted Dumbledore's words without mercy.
Then he asked bitterly: "Do you know what it feels like to be alone all your life?"
"I'm sorry for what you went through, Credence." Dumbledore said softly.
Credence's expression was stiff and he didn't say anything more. The scene became quiet. However, the surrounding stones turned into pieces and floated, which showed that his mood was not calm.
A phoenix flew over the street, kicking off the duel between the two.
Credence suddenly stretched out his wand and cast a powerful spell. The surrounding debris shot out with his spell and attacked Dumbledore.
Dumbledore swung his wand hard, deflecting Credence's attack to one side, and the store behind him became shattered.
Credence didn't stop and charged at Dumbledore fiercely.
As he sprinted, the buildings on both sides of the street were turned into ruins, and countless rubbles followed behind him, flying rapidly towards Dumbledore with Credence in the violent roar.
Dumbledore quickly deployed a transparent barrier in front of him, and then Credence hit him. The huge force pushed Dumbledore backwards, leaving two elongated footprints on the snow.
Seeing that the transparent barrier had cracked several times, Dumbledore abruptly took an extra step back and disappeared.
Then he appeared on the other side of the street.
Seeing that the two attacks were ineffective, Credence completely released the power of Obscurus in his body.
He turned into a piece of black fluffy mist, enveloping all the surrounding buildings as far as the eye could see. Like a low black cloud, it rolled towards Dumbledore who was standing on the ground.
The sky is dark and the earth is dark, and the clouds are like a cover!
In such a momentum, Dumbledore looked extremely small, like a small boat in the storm, which could be submerged in the violent storm at any time.
"I'm sorry, Credence." Dumbledore murmured. "This is my home court now."
Then Dumbledore suddenly disappeared from the spot, causing the dark clouds in the sky to lose their target.
Credence appeared blankly, but saw that not far away, Dumbledore appeared on a tram that was running quietly on the track.
Gritting his teeth with hatred, Credence turned into black mist again and swept towards the red tram.
Strangely, the passengers in the tram did not react at all to the black mist that was about to swallow them up. They just waited expressionlessly for Credence to engulf them.
"You should learn how to respect life, Credence." Dumbledore said softly.
"It has nothing to do with you!" Credence shouted angrily, while controlling the black mist to attack Dumbledore.
However, Dumbledore disappeared again, and Credence found nothing except annihilating a tram...
"Come out, you coward!" Credence gasped and shouted to the surroundings.
Dumbledore's figure appeared in front of him again and said: "Credence, sometimes things are not what you see."
Credence rushed towards Dumbledore regardless, but he disappeared from sight again.
"As with all of Grindelwald's lies to you, what you see is not necessarily what you believe, Credence." Dumbledore appeared again and said in a soft tone.
Credence attacked Dumbledore countless times, and Dumbledore disappeared countless times without even being touched by the hem of his clothes.
When Credence was exhausted, Dumbledore appeared for the last time and pointed his wand at the back of his neck.
"Stop it, Credence." Dumbledore said. "You have no chance of defeating me here."
"What did you do?" Credence asked numbly, looking tired.
"Mirror space, a very novel magic. I learned it from an interesting ghost." Dumbledore smiled. "Of course, I made some modifications."
As he spoke, Dumbledore raised a silver lighter-style deluminator with his left hand and pressed it gently.
"I said, seeing is not necessarily believing," Dumbledore said.
All the light around them was absorbed by the deluminator, and the scene where the two of them were in became dim. Only a little light could be vaguely seen shining in from the dark space wall - it was the still calm Berlin streets, pedestrians and people.
The vehicle was not affected in any way by the duel between the two men.
It turns out that everything just happened was not true...
Credence could not accept this result, and suddenly turned around and punched Dumbledore. His body also tended to turn black again.
But this time Dumbledore did not disappear again.
He waved his wand, and a powerful force knocked Credence to the ground.
The power of Obscurus in Credence's body was forcibly squeezed out by Dumbledore, and black flocculent energy covered the dark ground.
As the power of the Obscurus left his body, Credence's expression became extremely painful, his face became extremely pale, and his whole person looked weak.
At this time, with a flash of golden light, a golden-red phoenix crossed the plane and appeared in the mirror space. She kept circling around Credence, emitting a sweet yet sad cry.
Dumbledore stared at the phoenix flying in the sky, his sharp eyes softening.
"The Phoenix came for me, not for you..." Credence opened his mouth weakly and said tremblingly.
"I know, I know..." Dumbledore said softly, his eyes seeming to sparkle.
"Aurelius Dumbledore, I think we need to have a chat."
