From Kamal Taj to Hogwarts
Chapter 31 The Ravenclaw Common Room
The next day, Xiwen woke up early again.
Today is Saturday, which is also Xiven's first weekend since he came to Hogwarts. There was no class all day long, which made Xiven feel a little at a loss.
'Forget it, let's try our luck on the lawn of the teaching area first. Maybe Miranda will get up early and practice magic spells there?' He thought like this, and quickly changed his clothes under the fluorescent light of the wand's lighting spell.
Walked out of the dormitory.
Unfortunately, he was not very lucky, and he didn't know whether it was because he got up too early or Miranda wanted to sleep in during the weekend, but there was no one on the lawn now.
So Xiwen decided to do a morning exercise and then come back to check it out.
Now the open grassland northwest of the castle has become Xiwen's regular morning exercise spot, and almost no one will disturb him in the morning.
But this morning during his morning exercise, he was very rarely interrupted by a passerby.
A strange, unshaven man walked by with a cane and looked over.
"Oh, you are quite energetic!" Professor Kettleburn said with a smile.
"Good morning, Professor!" Sivan took back his right leg that was pressed in front of him and waved to Professor Kettleburn.
"How's it going? Is the cat back?" Professor Kettleburn asked friendly.
"Thanks to you, the kitten came back on her own the next day." Xiwen smiled. "And her eyes opened and she is in great spirits now!"
Professor Kettleburn also laughed happily with his iconic loud voice, and then said: "Haha, that's amazing, your cat must have inherited some special abilities after opening its eyes, and then ran away on its own.
Out of the cat cage."
"Being able to come back now must be thanks to your kindness to her. Yes, yes, you have a good heart!" The professor gave Xiwen a thumbs up.
Xiwen smiled awkwardly and scratched his head.
Professor Kettleburn suddenly said: "When you come to my place for confinement tonight, bring your cat over and let me see it. I just want to know what breed she is."
Hearing the professor's words, Xiwen was stunned. There were too many trivial matters recently. If he hadn't met the professor this morning, he would have completely forgotten about the solitary confinement...
"Did you forget about the confinement?" Professor Kettleburn saw Xiwen's expression and asked suspiciously.
"No! Absolutely not!" Xiwen denied decisively.
The professor didn't pay much attention, waved his hand and said: "Seven o'clock in the evening, don't forget."
Then he limped towards the hut where he lived.
The corner of Xiwen's mouth twitched, feeling that even though today was the weekend, it was still a fulfilling day.
…
However, the most important thing now is to find Miranda and get her notes.
So Xiwen returned to the lawn of the teaching area.
Several diligent and studious Ravenclaw students were already arriving on the lawn, but Xiven did not see Miranda there.
Considering that today's schedule was a bit tight, Xiven felt that he could not wait any longer, so he decisively walked to the Ravenclaw Tower on the west side of the castle.
In fact, he would not admit that he was just a little curious about what the lounge of the college he was almost assigned to by the Sorting Hat looked like...
Walking on the spiral staircase surrounded by blue tones, Xiwen looked at his green collar and felt a little out of place. He silently stopped, took off his school robe and put it into the pocket watch space.
Then he noticed the green striped tie hanging casually around his neck. He had just taken it off during morning exercise, and he hadn't had time to tie it yet. Xiwen took it off too, and now only a white shirt was left on his upper body.
.
After carefully looking at nothing that revealed his identity, he stepped to the top of the tower with satisfaction.
'I have to say that this place is really high, and the Astronomy Tower is not much higher than here...' Xiwen, who had just finished a set of morning exercises, felt a little tired. After a little comparison, he found that Ravenclaw and Slater
The distance between Lin's common room and the ground was actually about the same, so he finally felt a little more mentally balanced.
On the top floor of Ravenclaw Tower there is a heavy wooden door with an eagle-shaped bronze door knocker.
Sivan stood in front of the door, thinking about sneaking in when the other Ravenclaws came out for morning reading, so that he could bypass the password.
At this moment, the eagle-shaped door knocker suddenly spoke and said in a low and mysterious voice:
"What do you get when you combine a woodpecker and a dove that knows its way around?"
Xiwen was startled by the sound. He looked at the door knocker in surprise, wondering what kind of operation it was. What a brain teaser?
He was thinking, his brain was spinning rapidly. What's the use of a pigeon delivering a message pecking wood? When delivering a message, peck the door open and then throw the letter in? Inexplicably, it feels like the sight of a funny scene...
"Hey, wait, there seems to be some kind of bird that can deliver messages and peck people." Xiwen suddenly remembered the owl Jabi who just pecked him a few days ago with a grudge.
"Owl?" Sivan said to the eagle-shaped door knocker in an uncertain tone.
The eagle-shaped bronze door knocker said: "That makes sense."
Then, it lifted its ring and the wooden door opened.
"There is such an operation..." Xiwen exclaimed.
You have to answer questions to get in, this is very Ravenclaw!
Ravenclaw's common room is a large room with a circular shape. Several arched windows stand on the high walls, and the bright morning sunlight shines in from outside, without being dazzling.
It's bright enough. It's in sharp contrast to the dark and mysterious scene in the Slytherin lounge.
'No wonder Ravenclaw students are better at getting up early, this environment is different.' Xiwen thought silently.
The walls of the lounge are hung with blue and bronze silks, hanging softly by the window. The domed ceiling is painted with colorful and vivid stars, which seem to be blinking. The dark blue carpet below is also full of stars than those on the ceiling.
Larger stars are decorated, while exquisite tables, chairs and bookshelves are placed on the floor.
In the niche facing Xiwen stands a white marble statue. The statue is lifelike. Her beautiful, generous and stern face is somewhat similar to Helena.
‘Rowner Ravenclaw.’ Sivan raised his head and stared at this beautiful statue with an incomprehensible expression.
‘Helena’s mother put great pressure on Helena, even causing her to retain her thirst for knowledge even when she turned into a soul.’ Xiwen murmured.
"What are you talking about?"
Suddenly, a magnetic female voice interrupted Xiwen's meditation.
Xiven turned his head and saw a witch with gray hair, black-rimmed glasses, and holding a thick book. He suddenly realized that he was in the common room of another college.
"Good morning, Miranda..." Xiwen said hello awkwardly.
"Explain why you are here!"
Miranda put the book on the table next to her, crossed her arms, looked at the stiff-looking Xiwen with a playful expression, and said.
