The price of ordinary reinforced concrete per cubic meter is 500 Chinese yuan, and the price of reinforced concrete used to make vacuum pipes is at least double that.

In other words, the material cost of a 135-kilometer reinforced concrete vacuum pipeline alone is 11.4453 billion yuan.

In addition, due to the weight of reinforced concrete pipes, the load-bearing design of the bridge piers must keep up, otherwise it will not be able to support the huge weight.

When using fiberglass composite graphene, about 2.15 million cubic meters will be used for 135 kilometers. The cost of one cubic meter of fiberglass composite graphene is about 2,300 yuan, which is equivalent to about 5 billion yuan in material cost for 135 kilometers of vacuum pipelines.

The price is less than half. Even if the profit issue is taken into account, raising the price to 7 billion yuan is still promising.

What's more, the performance and service life of FRP composite graphene are much better than those of reinforced concrete.

In addition, the weight is only about one-fifth, which means that the load-bearing design of the bridge pier can be reduced by two or three times. The load-bearing design of the bridge pier is reduced, and the cost is also reduced.
