Among them, samarium cobalt and neodymium iron boron are rare earth permanent magnets.
The permanent magnet rotor in the Pengpai motor uses ferrite permanent magnets.
Ferrite permanent magnet is a kind of permanent magnet mainly made of SrO or BaO and Fe2O3 as raw materials.
Ferrite magnets are hard and brittle and have lower magnetic energy than other permanent magnets.
However, it is not easy to demagnetize and corrode, and the production process is simple and cheap. Therefore, ferrite magnets have the highest output in the entire magnet industry and are widely used in industrial production.
Obviously, for Pengpai motors with self-generated power generation technology, the performance of permanent magnets is no longer the first factor, but price and difficulty of acquisition.
The self-generating coating electroplated on the permanent magnet rotor will not interfere with the work of the motor itself due to the restrained properties of the coating material.
Instead, with the overall spatial displacement of the motor, the magnetic field lines that continuously cut the earth's magnetic field generate current and reversely charge the battery.
For example, the battery supplies 1 kWh of electrical energy to the motor for work, then the self-generating coating will feed back 0.23 kWh of electrical energy to the battery.
Of course, this is under ideal conditions. Wen Weiping and Yang bought an electric car, removed the battery and motor, and then installed the Thor battery and Pengpai motor.
After testing, they found that for every 1 kilowatt hour of electricity consumed by the Pengpai motor, the self-generating coating feeds back 0.15 to 0.18 kilowatt hours of electricity to the battery.
If you drive on the highway, the feedback electric energy can reach 0.18 to 0.21 kilowatt hours.
In other words, even without Thor batteries, Pengpai Motor can already increase the battery life of electric vehicles by 15 to 20% (actual measurement data).
Coupled with Thor batteries, Pengpai Power's electric vehicles are expected to have an actual range of 300 kilometers.
After all, Thor batteries have 11% higher energy density than lithium batteries.
The domestic electric vehicle BYD E6 has a battery weight of about 620 kilograms and a total power storage of 57 kWh. The theoretical range is 360 kilometers and the actual range is 260 kilometers.
Just thinking about it makes my head spin. What is the concept of a 620 kilogram lithium battery, which is equivalent to one-third to one-quarter of the weight of a car.
If Pengpai Power also has so many batteries, the battery life will be incredible.
Think about the 620 kilogram Thor battery, with a total power storage of 117 kilowatt hours, plus the 15 to 20% increase in the Pengpai motor.
The actual range can reach 600 to 630 kilometers, and if the low-speed cruise mode is used, the range can be increased to 750 to 800 kilometers.
The problem is that the production cost of a 620 kilogram Thor battery is 16,700 Chinese yuan. Even if the Thor battery is sold to Pengpai Power for 50 per kilogram, a 620 kilogram battery will cost 31,000 Chinese yuan.
So stacking batteries is not cost-effective.
For the Pengpai Power electric vehicle planned by Huang Haojie, all Thor batteries will not exceed 350 kilograms.
