Game of Thrones: From Lord Elden to Young Wolf

Chapter 30 Respective Arrangements

Duke Tully was not in good health, and he had to meet his brother Sir Blackfish. The two would quarrel when they met, so Robb did not stay in his grandfather's study for long.

After a night of fighting, Robb was very tired, so he found a room and slept until noon.

After lunch, Robb's first thing was to call the lords to a meeting.

In the meeting room of Riverrun, Robb sat in the first seat, and his uncle Sir Edmure sat on Robb's left. The other nobles did not think anything was wrong.

After leading two unprecedented battles, Robb's prestige reached its peak, and now the title of Young Wolf Lord is known to everyone.

There were six people attending this meeting.

They were Earl Jason Mallister of Seamarsh, Earl Tytos Lakewood who defended Riverrun, Sir Edmure Tully and Sir Blackfish, uncle and nephew, and finally Robb and Theon Greyjoy.

Robb spoke first: "Everyone present here has made great contributions to the victory of the Riverrun raid. But Tywin's army has not been wiped out, my family has not been rescued, and the battle is still going on."

Sir Blackfish had just had a big fight with his brother, and his face was still a little red, but it did not prevent his men from collecting intelligence.

He took out a piece of paper: "Lord Tywin defeated the Northern army not long ago, but did not cause many casualties, and then he led his army to rush to Riverrun.

According to the intelligence of the spies, in order to hurry, he left the wounded on the road and did not care about the rest time. Many soldiers died along the way, and many soldiers ran away.

Lord Roose Bolton led his men to harass several times, but they were all repelled by Lord Tywin."

Robb nodded: "It seems that old Peeler is not Tywin's opponent. But after knowing that Jaime has been captured by me, the old thing Tywin will definitely not come to die, and will definitely find a castle to guard and wait for the opportunity.

Old Peeler does not need too many people. You write a letter to him and let him continue to confront Tywin. As for Greatjon, Rickard Stark, and Maggie, let them bring their teams to Riverrun to join us."

Sir Blackfish nodded in agreement. He had unknowingly become accustomed to Robb's orders.

Robb continued, "Sir Blackfish, I admire your ability. I hope you can be responsible for the intelligence work of the special army. How about you be my intelligence officer?"

Sir Blackfish had mixed feelings in his heart. He was angry that his brother was meddling in his marriage, so he set up his own business and went to work for his niece, but he was never reused. Now he finally found a position where he could display his talents.

"I won't let you down." Sir Blackfish agreed very happily.

Robb was very satisfied. His army had added another fierce general.

"Uncle Edmure, Jaime broke up the army in the riverlands before, and there are still many soldiers scattered outside. I hope you can gather all these soldiers back in the name of the Tully family. They are all available forces."

Edmure Tully was a little ashamed. He was defeated because he was not as capable as Jaime. Now he had to face those remnants by himself, which was a bit ashamed.

But only he can do this. The people in the riverlands are loyal to the Tully family. Duke Tully is in poor health. As the only heir, he must shoulder this task.

"I will do it, but I don't know how many people are still alive."

Robb also made a deliberate arrangement. People must face up to their past failures and overcome them before they can grow.

Turning to look at the two earls, Robb also had their own arrangements: "Lord Lakewood, your Ravenhold has been breached. Tywin has your family in his hands. There are still many lords in the riverlands in Tywin's hands. We also have Tywin's nephew and many lords in the West. You will be responsible for exchanging hostages with Tywin."

Earl Lakewood has been defending Riverrun these days, and his contribution is no less than anyone present. He has been anxious since he learned that his family was captured. Now Robb has given him a chance, and he looked at Robb gratefully.

"Don't worry, I will never do anything that would damage my reputation because of my personal feelings."

Robb looked at Lord Jason Mallister again: "Lord Jason, when my people arrive, we will continue to move westward and fight to the Westerlies. Tywin led his men to burn, kill and loot in the riverlands. Countless people were slaughtered by him and countless wealth was plundered by him. We must take revenge."

After Robb seized Riverrun, he cut off Tywin's connection with the Westerlies. Now Tywin can only get supplies from King's Landing, and the Westerlies have become isolated territories.

Moreover, most of the troops in the Westerlies have been withdrawn by Tywin and Jaime. Now they are almost like fish on the chopping board, not only plump, but also without threats.

Lord Jason Mallister was naturally satisfied with this good job.

Seeing that the meeting was about to end, Theon found that he had not been assigned any tasks yet. Thinking that he might be able to do a better career, he took the initiative to volunteer.

"Robb, there are still my father's troops in the Iron Islands. I can go back and persuade my father to send troops to support him."

Theon Greyjoy is from the Greyjoy family in the Iron Islands. The family emblem is a squid-like pattern, so it is also called the Squid Family.

The Iron Islands have poor land, and people's living habits are relatively barbaric, relying on robbery for a living.

They had rebelled before, but at that time Ned Stark and former King Robert went out together and defeated the Greyjoy family step by step, and killed two male members of the family, leaving only the ten-year-old Theon Greyjoy.

Ned couldn't bear to kill them all, and didn't want the Iron Islands to rebel again, so he took Theon Greyjoy back to Winterfell to raise him.

Because Ned was an upright man, he also had feelings for Theon, and did not continue the grudges of the previous generation to Theon, and let him and Robb become friends since childhood.

Robb took a look at Theon and knew that in the original timeline, he betrayed the Stark family under the education of his father after returning.

It's a bit tangled...

Robb is not tangled in the question of whether to let Theon go back or not. Now Robb actually hopes that the Iron Islands will rebel, and even if the Iron Islands don't rebel, Robb will make the Iron Islands rebel.

Because the Iron Islands are related to a very key part of his plan.

But Theon was a member of the Wolf Riders who had followed him in two battles, and with his memories, he still had some feelings for him.

After thinking for a while, Robb agreed to Theon's request.

You have taken a different path from your previous life, and I don't know what to choose after returning to the Iron Islands.

This is a test for you. If you can pass it, then you and I are still brothers. If you are the same as before...

You choose your own path, I hope you don't stand on the opposite side of me.

Robb looked at the happy Theon and prayed silently in his heart.

It's on the second round of recommendations. Thank you for your support.
