Game of Thrones: I Created the Magic Web
#1 - Tyrion's Bride
Chapter 1: Tyrion's Bride
The eastern coast of Westeros.
The vast Kingswood stretches for hundreds of miles, facing King's Landing across the river.
Few venture into the Kingswood; since the Targaryen dynasty, it has been the private hunting grounds of the King of Westeros.
Today, it welcomed two new guests of considerable importance:
Prince Joffrey Baratheon, the young heir who inherited his mother's "Light of the West" beauty.
And the clever dwarf – "The Imp" Tyrion Lannister.
Though called a hunt, their intentions clearly lay elsewhere.
After allowing the accompanying hunting party and guards to roam freely, the two of them set off alone, gradually disappearing into the depths of the forest.
… …
The Kingswood is a paradise for trees.
The deeper they went, the thicker and more numerous the exposed roots became.
"The Imp," with his short legs, weaved around them, growing slower and slower, until he finally stopped, helpless.
"Have mercy, Your Royal Highness. The Kingswood is not easy to traverse, especially for your uncle."
Tyrion's signature sardonic tone rang out.
Joffrey turned and stood still, smoothing the slightly disheveled golden curls at his ear.
In the dense shade of the trees, the two stood face to face.
Tyrion couldn't help but wonder if he was dreaming.
That Prince Joffrey would invite "The Imp" for a private conversation.
Most strangely, Joffrey didn't seem to be looking at his embarrassing dwarf uncle, but at a person, an ordinary, normal person.
Tyrion would give anything to be seen in that light.
"Speak your secrets here, then. A corner of the Kingswood is as good a place as any for murder, perfectly discreet."
Was it another prank?
His mismatched eyes, one black and one blue, stared intently at Joffrey's pale face.
Joffrey lowered his gaze, looking at his dwarf uncle, who was more than a head shorter than him, and sighed softly.
Tyrion, Tyrion.
First meeting, from now on, I am Joffrey.
He was excited and a little nervous about inexplicably transmigrating into this world of "A Song of Ice and Fire" / "Game of Thrones."
According to the plot, in just two years, "he" would be poisoned to death.
To avoid such a tragic end, he had to act immediately and unite all forces that could be united.
"We've always been good friends, haven't we, Uncle Tyrion?"
Tyrion almost burst out laughing.
"Ha! You win, dear Joffrey, you win! That's definitely the funniest joke I've ever heard!"
Here and now, Joffrey finally didn't have to bother pretending to be an idiot.
"Look at this place, perfect for a heart-to-heart between friends. No ever-present spies within the city, no secret passages running through the Red Keep, and no weirwood trees of the old gods."
Secret passages in the Red Keep? Tyrion keenly noticed the key information.
Could this be the eunuch's secret weapon?
How did he know?
Tyrion was very surprised.
How could Joffrey suddenly seem like a true heir to the kingdom? It was a miracle.
Were the gods in heaven blind?
"So, my dear friend, what exactly do you want to talk about?"
Tyrion grew even more curious.
Joffrey was silent for a few breaths, a touch of appropriate confusion on his face.
Then he shook his head and sighed.
"It's like a dream. Even now, I don't want to believe that those things really happened."
"I saw many, many scenes I had never seen before. Betrayal, war, weddings, death, with familiar people, and unfamiliar faces."
"Of course, there's you too, Uncle Tyrion."
He stared into Tyrion's eyes, his face full of seriousness and sincerity.
"Perhaps it's a gift from the gods, or some other reason. The fact is—I saw the future."
… …
A breeze blew by, and the rustling leaves seemed to laugh along with Tyrion.
Did you see who your real father is?
Sorry, I'm being too malicious.
"I see. I'd like to believe that, but friends should be honest with each other, right?"
A not-so-subtle mockery, but Joffrey didn't care.
He returned a smile, "Friend, if I were you, I wouldn't jump to conclusions so quickly."
Joffrey recalled those soul-stirring plots and scenes from the series, his expression becoming more and more dazed.
"I really wish it was just a vain dream."
"The future is too terrifying. The truth is always cruel, power is dangerous and fascinating, secrets, conspiracies, and killings are countless."
"But I have grown because of it."
Tyrion didn't say a word, seemingly intending to listen to the end.
Joffrey decided to reveal some information that wasn't very useful, "I saw it. Hand of the King Jon Arryn is about to die, and Father will go north to Winterfell to invite Lord Eddard to succeed him."
Tyrion's expression twitched slightly, "Uh-huh. Good story, just don't let Lord Jon hear it."
"I also saw that Varys, the Master of Whisperers, is plotting to restore the Targaryen dynasty, or the Blackfyres. Petyr Baelish, the Master of Coin, covets the Iron Throne and plots to incite war."
"They're certainly not good people, but such accusations are a bit much, aren't they?"
"A red comet will appear in a few months, its light bright enough to rival the sun and moon."
"I'll wait and see."
"Winter is coming."
"The end of the world, huh? I'd really like to see it."
As expected, Tyrion didn't show the slightest sign of believing him, stubbornly living like a rock from Casterly Rock.
Although he felt a little reluctant, Joffrey knew that he had to use his trump card.
"Tysha."
The smile on Tyrion's face instantly froze.
He never thought he would hear this name from Joffrey's mouth.
The layers of defenses in his heart immediately collapsed.
Those painful memories that he still dared not think about all popped out, like a sharp sword, stabbing fiercely into his brain.
Tysha, ha, Tysha.
My first woman, my true love, my bride, was a prostitute bought by Jaime.
A prostitute, a prostitute full of lies.
Lord Tywin gave an order, and the Lannister soldiers lined up, one, ten, a hundred, Tyrion went last.
From then on, after being forced to witness and participate in his wife's "work."
Tyrion no longer hoped to gain a woman's love.
Joffrey lowered his voice, trying not to provoke the current "Imp."
"Tysha, what a good person. Frankly, I really feel sorry for you. Such a tragedy is truly unimaginable. Pitiful, regrettable, sad."
"Stop it."
"One hundred silver stags, one gold dragon."
The price for an ordinary soldier to patronize a prostitute was one silver stag, higher than the market price. The Lannisters were naturally different; Lord Tywin gave Tysha a whole gold dragon for Tyrion.
"Shut up." Tyrion's expression became more and more ferocious.
Joffrey couldn't help but be infected by it.
In all fairness, he didn't want to tear open Tyrion's scars. But the opportunity across the Narrow Sea was fleeting, and he had to reach a cooperation with Tyrion as soon as possible.
Tyrion was unwilling to let down his guard, so he had to disturb poor Tysha.
Seizing the opportunity, Joffrey said again, "Although the past cannot be changed, as an ordinary farm girl, being able to make you commit patricide for her a few years later, I believe she will feel some comfort."
Tyrion was about to be completely overwhelmed by painful memories. But at this moment, he seemed to see the light of hope and redemption.
"Farm girl?! Tysha, she's not… a prostitute?"
Filial piety between father and son is gratifying.
"Uncle Jaime admitted it himself. She is very pure."
Jaime? Jaime. Tyrion was stunned for a few seconds, and his eyes darkened again.
From those eyes, Joffrey felt pain, doubt, relief, hatred, and many other unspeakable things.
What would Tyrion do, hate Jaime? Commit patricide again? Endure and take revenge?
Joffrey couldn't be sure, but he was already prepared.
"I'm sorry, but this is true. Go ask Uncle Jaime, ask him seriously."
Joffrey was very sincere.
"I don't want to, and won't hurt you."
"We can be true friends, helping each other."
He really thought so.
Knowing the truth about Tysha, Tyrion could no longer integrate into the Lannister family.
Such a Tyrion would definitely become his true arm.
The wind rustled for a long time… …
Tyrion didn't explode as he did in the plot.
He just asked: "How is Tysha? Where is she now?"
His voice was tired and dry. His face was full of hope.
But Joffrey was also helpless.
"I only saw you talking. Grandfather doesn't know either, but he didn't kill her, he just drove her away."
"Where can a prostitute go?" Also troubled countless book fans and drama fans.
Perhaps in Braavos, perhaps in King's Landing, perhaps living in some corner, perhaps… …
Joffrey could only try to appease him and make a promise.
"Cheer up, Tyrion."
"When I become king, I can mobilize the power of the entire kingdom to help you. Tysha must still be alive, we will definitely find her!"
"There is still hope!"
As long as he doesn't completely collapse, time and hope can heal almost all pain.
Tyrion tried to calm his expression. In front of Joffrey, he really didn't want to expose his weakness.
He buried all the waves in his heart.
That's right, there is still hope.
I can't give up! Tysha, Tysha is still waiting for me.
I will become a better person.
Gradually, the "preferential treatment" he had received as a dwarf for more than twenty years, those eyes, whispers, and actions constantly appeared in his mind.
Tyrion was determined not to let the world have its way.
So what if I am born a dwarf, deformed and ugly?! Even if I am cursed and abandoned by the gods, I will never admit defeat!
You all watch.
I will live well and watch my father's body buried with my own eyes.
You all watch.
I will make the sacred and solemn seven vows of marriage with Tysha in the Great Sept of Baelor, witnessed by the High Septon!
I will be in the spotlight.
Inherit Casterly Rock!!!
