Game of Thrones: Lord of Winter

Chapter 124 Dragon Shadow

The crowned stag flag of the Heart of Fire rolled up in the sea breeze, making clear sounds.

The waves on the coast rushed, splashed, and slapped on the winding coastline. The sunlight through the clouds sprinkled on the sea surface. The boats were drifting, and there were voices far and near. Some people stepped on the soft sand from the boat, leaving a few footprints, and some disappeared without a trace as the waves hit.

A few fishermen who returned from fishing pushed the boat to the sea while talking and laughing, and the sea breeze blew on the wet corners of their clothes.

"What is that?"

As far as the eye could see, there was only a flash of light scales.

The fishermen looked in the direction of his finger, and the vague light spot became bigger and bigger. Is it a bird? No, it's a goshawk?

It was a monster, and his shadow flashed by, but they saw clearly what it was.

"It's a dragon!" Someone screamed.

They watched the monster soar towards the castle, and its wings could cover several people.

Silver streaks flashed by, and blood splashed.

The swords chopped at the same time, but were blocked by the two swords intertwined into a fork.

Cole turned around, and the swords danced in a spiral, and everyone fell to the ground, holding their legs and feet and wailing.

A spear stabbed at him, and he rolled sideways on the map table. After turning around, he stood up directly on "Westerloh" and stood above everyone.

The spearmen surrounded the map in a circle and controlled him in the center.

The soldiers tightened their bodies and stabbed him with spears in unison.

Cole raised the two swords forward and backward, and swept them to both sides. Five or six spears were actually cut off. He caught the gap and jumped down, hundreds of flowing sword shadows.

Howling and crying, he was like a shadowy mountain cat jumping into a flock of sheep, evading everywhere flexibly, but always biting his prey with his fangs.

Suddenly, a vacuum was formed around him. Except for the people lying on the ground, no one dared to move forward.

He shook off the blood drops on the sword groove and looked back and forth with cold eyes.

The eyes were like the angry eyes of a lion, making people retreat.

Davos was free behind the guards with a sword. When was the last time he fought? The palm with missing fingers could barely hold the sword.

Five, they have lost five guards, all wearing armor and shields. It has only been a few breaths since the fight started.

The dark clothes made the blood look dark and terrifying.

He was not injured at all. He was like a flexible fish among swords and spears.

Davos heard the angry roar of Ser Axell Florent. He shouted at the soldiers to rush forward, but he hid far behind the door frame.

Ser Axell had been the acting lord of Dragonstone for more than ten years. He still remembered the threat the lord had made when the king summoned him.

He thought he should take over the position of prime minister from his brother, the traitor Earl Alister Florent.

As the lord of Dragonstone for ten years, his power here was second only to the king, and the soldiers here were willing to listen to him.

A soldier with a sword raised his sword and rushed forward, but was pierced through the throat by Cole's precise sword. He pushed hard and used the soldier as a shield to push against him.

The soldiers who had gathered together retreated one after another.

He was too powerful. No one present could beat him one-on-one. Davos even felt that there was no knight stronger than him in the Seven Kingdoms.

The Kingslayer Jaime Lannister, the Fearless Barristan Selmy, these knights who were famous in the Seven Kingdoms flashed through his mind.

Cole walked to the window. There were several large windows in the drawing room, and one could directly see the sea from here.

"No matter how powerful he is, he can't beat the knights and soldiers of the entire castle." Davos said in his heart. After all, a person's power is limited, and he doesn't want bloodshed and death.

Davos couldn't read, but he still wanted to hear Cole's explanation. The letter was read to him by Axel. The acting lord was much more familiar with the management of Dragonstone than the Onion Knight.

As Cole himself said, why would he come to Dragonstone if he betrayed?

Seeing Cole stepping up the chair and standing on the windowsill, half of his hand was holding the window. Davos suddenly shouted: "Don't do stupid things, Cole. There is a cliff outside the window."

He only heard him say disdainfully, "You are the ones who did stupid things."

He turned to the window.

"Enough, you idiots." A roar came from outside the door.

He was wearing a grayish-white robe, looking pale and thin, holding a long sword inlaid with a square gemstone in his hand, and there was a flame dancing on the sword.

Gods, it has only been a short time, but his hair and beard have all turned gray, and his eyes have sunken into black holes.

Soldiers and knights saluted and knelt, saying in unison, "Your Majesty."

Stannis walked into the table hall angrily and took a look at the bleeding corpse.

"I slept for a while, look at what stupid things you did."

Davos looked at the angry king, who slept too long, Your Majesty.

Stannis moved his eyes to the Onion Knight, "Smuggler, you'd better give me a reasonable explanation."

"Come down, Julius." He turned his head, "Do you think your king is dead and want to be buried with him? I'm alive and well."

Cole tilted his head, obviously not knowing what the current situation was.

I saw a red dress slowly walking in from the door.

Cole glanced at Stannis, his eyes seemed to be thinking about something, and finally decided to jump off the windowsill.

He walked to Stannis with a sword in hand. Melisandre also walked slowly to the king's side.

"Your Majesty, please allow me to arrest this traitor for you." Ser Axel stepped forward.

"I think the traitor is you, Axel." The king answered him in a cold tone.

Axel's face froze and turned into panic, "Your Majesty, I swear, I have never betrayed you."

"You are as greedy for power as your brother." The king snorted coldly, "Are you disappointed that I didn't die?"

"Your Majesty, I have no such intention. My Lord is my witness, it was the great Lord of Light who made me see Ser Julius' betrayal."

"Then go to the dungeon and think carefully about the will of the gods for you." The king ordered, "Disarm him and take him to the dungeon."

The soldiers hesitated for a moment, and Stannis sneered, "Does the king's order not work for you?"

The farce ended, and the body was carried out.

The white monster that landed on the roof of the castle stayed there for a moment before it rushed into the sky, but many people still saw it.

"I have read your letter." He said to Cole, "Put away your sword. As long as I am here, no one can hurt you."

Cole glanced at Melisandre and sheathed his two swords.
