The second is that the glyphs are complex, including ancient and modern styles, traditional and simplified styles, orthodox and variations; and the strokes are very different, with one less stroke and as many as 36 strokes.

The third is the phenomenon that there are a large number of words with one sound and multiple sounds and one word with multiple sounds.

If the encoding of Chinese characters cannot be completed, then there will be no way to talk about Chinese characters.

So far, Chinese character encoding in China has developed rapidly, and Li Zetian does not need to worry about it at all. In 1980, China's State Administration of Standards will publish the "Chinese Character Coded Character Set for Information Exchange", and a set of national standards GB2312 will be implemented the next year.

With Chinese character encoding, Chinese cards can be developed. Hanka is very profitable, costing several thousand yuan each, but the cost is less than half. If nothing else, it has created two famous companies, Lenovo and Shi Yuzhu's Giant Company.

Because the vast majority of Chinese people do not speak English, the market for Hanka is huge!

However, the Chinese card is only a transitional product in the history of computer development. Even if there is no Chinese card, as long as there is Chinese character encoding, the computer can also input Chinese characters. The reason why Hanka became popular is that in the early days of computer use, the processing power of the computer was limited. In order to improve the efficiency of the computer and reduce the frequent access to the memory during the input process of Chinese characters, Hanka was developed. Using Hanka can effectively increase the speed of the computer and reduce the computer memory space occupied as much as possible. However, with the advancement of computer hardware and software technology, the processing power of computers has increased rapidly, and Hanka has no place to use.
