I just took this opportunity to chat with you about the past.

As everyone has guessed, I am not a pure newbie.

Probably a few years ago, during my sophomore year in college, I followed the trend and opened a fanfic.

At that time, the results were pretty good. The first order was 1,000 yuan, and by the end of the writing, the average was 2,000 yuan. This was considered a good result at the time.

Although I feel a little regretful that I didn't get the premium badge, I have no intention of opening the book while it's hot and trying to get it again.

After all, the academic pressure at that time was indeed too great.

But this year, when I had nothing to do, I felt itchy and wanted to write a book, I found that the starting point was completely different from before.

Some people come, some people go...

Specious editorial team, completely different recommendation system...

Just like Team Mi waking up from a long slumber, looking around, it’s been decades and everything has changed.

But he has the top-notch body of a mortal, and I am just a former fan author with no quality products.

Facing a more fierce and completely unfamiliar competitive environment, I really don’t know what to do.

At this time, an old reader suggested that I publish a fanfic on that subject.

If my skill is not reduced as before, I will definitely be able to penetrate the starting point (ahem, this is their words, not mine), and now the starting point has also changed. The same quality, placed today, can be exchanged for about three to four thousand yuan.

.

To be honest, I was a little excited at the time.

But after thinking about it, I gave up.

One is that the book at that time was really very thoughtful, and I had already written out all the things I had associated with the original work. It would be repetitive if I tried to write it again.

Secondly, as a newcomer to Jiujiuxin, I also know the shortcomings of doujin, and I also know the beauty of originality.

After all, there is such an example around me: I published a book at the same time, I was a fan of it, and she was the original author. Two years after I finished it, her book is still written, with many, many words, and it is still read by many readers, and it can also make money.

To say that I am not envious would be a lie.

As a book writer, I believe that no one would not want to write a book that is unique to them.

A new reader of this book asked me: Why don’t you tell us about your old book?

In fact, the main reason is that it is a fanfic.

Although she carries a lot of my pride, she also carries an inferiority complex.

Most of the time I don't really want to say it.

It was also for this reason that I decided to give up doujin at that time.

The themes of the new book are word games that were popular at the time, immortality, proficiency points, simulators, and my favorite selection of mythical cards written by friends.

In fact, the first edition of this book was published as early as this summer, but friends around me were not very optimistic about it, so I was hesitant.

During this period, I also worked on the beginnings of the first few themes. Surprisingly, they were okay and the writing was quite passionate, but I just felt that it was not interesting.

I struggled with it over and over again and suffered for a long time. While I was working on adding some text, I also didn't forget to read the mythological information and revise the beginning of the mythical card.

In fact, from that time on, I knew which subject matter was most important to me.

It just needs an opportunity to finalize.

And this opportunity is the "Heroic Spirit" of Taro Mud Cat Cat Tea.

When I first saw this book, it only had 120,000 to 30,000 words, and it was still ranked tenth on the fantasy new book list. At that time, I concluded that as long as this book did not collapse, it would definitely be ordered ten thousand times.

Sure enough, within a few days, the book's sales increased steadily, and in the end, it had more than 10,000 first orders.

Of course, that's all for later.

Anyway, I was a little excited when I saw Mao Cha Da Da achieve such good results using a strategy that was somewhat similar to what I expected.

Hence this book.

How can I put it this way? It’s been a bumpy journey. I’m in lockdown, I’m at home, and I’m a sheep. Fortunately, I have the editor’s encouragement, my friends’ support, and everyone’s support, and I’ve made it through.

In the end, I got more than 2,700 first orders, and it was on the shelves for about 20 days, with a stable average order of 5,000+. In my mind, this is an incredible achievement.

And this is all thanks to all of you for your continued support.

On this festive occasion, I wish you and your family good health and all the best.

The addition of updates continues.

Just as we decided before, if the average booking reaches 7,500 before February 1st, we will open a full booking group and give everyone something as a reward. (See the previous chapter for details)

Looking at it now, it feels quite boring.

But no matter what, let’s work hard.

Well, that's probably it.

Everyone remember to comment.
