From Wang Dacheng, I learned that the most talked about thing by the archaeology students in the school recently is the project about the western archaeology plan. More than 30 field archaeology students need to participate in this action. Of course, our school plans to recruit five graduates.

The country has started western archaeology since the founding of the People's Republic of China, but at that time it was not only archaeology, but also investigation, analyzing the geological features and some basic conditions in the west. Of course, the most famous one is Peng Jiamu's expedition. During that investigation, the country attached great importance to it, so the materials and support were deployed very carefully, but something went wrong in the end.

Peng Jiamu disappeared, so there are all kinds of sayings now, so the investigation project in the west is definitely a big job.

It will cost a lot of manpower and material resources, and may even cost lives, because the west is equivalent to the most abundant treasure land in geology and archaeology. Although the harsh geographical environment protects its mystery and primitiveness, it also lays an insurmountable ditch for those who unveil it.

Throughout the history of Chinese civilization, the western region has always been an active area for ethnic minorities. The mysterious ancient kingdom of Loulan, the remains of the Han Great Wall, the disappeared Lop Nur, and a series of excavation and protection work are just the tip of the iceberg.

From ancient times to the present, people have crossed this line of defense.

Since the Han Dynasty, people have begun to interact with their neighbors and even sent high-ranking officials to inspect some countries and ethnic minority tribes outside the border. As early as the Western Han Dynasty, during the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, Zhang Qian was sent to the Western Regions to open up roads, starting from the capital Chang'an (now Xi'an), through Gansu and Xinjiang, to Central Asia and West Asia, and connecting the land routes of Mediterranean countries.

However, its original function was to transport silk produced in ancient China.

It facilitated exchanges between the northwest and the inland, and this road also facilitated businessmen, which is the legendary Silk Road. In order to worship Buddha and seek scriptures, the monk Xuanzang of the Tang Dynasty also set out along the Silk Road, bypassing the Himalayas and reaching India.

So this mysterious road is also called the Golden Road.

I decided to give it a try at the school. I just had this opportunity and solved the employment problem at the same time. Isn't it the best of both worlds?

The selection period will end in one week, which is just the right time. However, there are many people who have signed up. It is a bit difficult to stand out from the crowd. After filling out the registration form, a professional level assessment will be held on Monday after the registration period ends. Now it is only the first test, so it is not that strict.

During this week, I almost reviewed some relevant terms to prepare for the exam. However, when I went to take the written test that day, I saw the test paper and it seemed as if I had just woken up. There were not many professional test questions on the test paper. Almost all of them were seemingly irrelevant content.

For example, what sports do you like in your daily life?

An assessment of the ability to survive in the wild.

After that, I went to the hospital several times, and they said that Professor Yang had not woken up yet. I had a hunch that things were not as simple as I imagined. Professor Yang was sent to the United States for treatment. They said that there had been similar cases there.

On this side, although Li Da Kui had recovered a lot, he was still nervous and mysterious sometimes.

"Da Kui?"

Sometimes he would be scared when I called his name.

I really don't know what he saw that made him sober and confused.

"How could I forget this?"

I guess I forgot because I was busy with the written test and worried about Professor Yang and others these days.

I returned to the dormitory and quickly opened the fragment of Journey to the West. If I remember correctly, there are some methods in the notes that may help Li Da Kui regain consciousness.

I opened the book carefully. It was probably because it was soaked in water, so it was a little wrinkled. Fortunately, almost every word was clearly visible.

Suddenly, I turned to one of the pages, which read: All the mountains and seas are bowed, and the nine underworlds and ten categories are all removed.

It tells the story of the stone monkey making trouble in the underworld and tampering with the book of life and death.

The following note says, "Looking at life and death, people have three souls and seven spirits, including spirit, taste, sensitivity, mind, and eyes. If they lose their souls for no reason, they are about to be mentally confused, lose their true nature, and become crazy. Therefore, the stone monkey's sin was punished by thunder and lightning."

Could it be that Da Kui lost his soul, or was he scared by the strange stone monkey in the cave?

I turned to the back and it said that it was necessary to use Tianling Stone as a medicine, combined with some herbs to refine it, and finally take it orally to get rid of it.

The herbs in the back are easy to deal with, just go to the Chinese medicine store to get them, but what is this so-called Tianling Stone? I have no trace of it, but looking at this introduction about Tianling Stone seems to have some clues... Tianling Stone is a pure yang thing, belonging to fire. It has been formed after thousands of years, like a lens eye, with a layer of transparent crystal wrapped in evil fire, buried deep underground.

Flame? Crystal?

Suddenly, I thought of it. I have definitely seen this thing, but I didn't care about it at the time.
