Harry Potter and the Attack of the Squibs
Chapter Thirteen False Duel
Malfoy walked up to Lu Ke arrogantly: "Don't even think about running away, you squib!"
Lu Ke smiled and nodded: "Thank you for helping to convince Professor Snape. It seems that he really likes you."
Malfoy was very happy to hear this and left without saying anything.
Johanna was left sitting next to Lu Ke and laughed: "Look at his appearance, Lu Ke, you are despised!"
Lu Ke nodded calmly: "If you were his assistant, he would indeed win."
Johanna smiled and shook her head: "If I decide to be your enemy, I will just sneak into your dormitory at midnight and pierce your heart with a long sword. There is no access control between Slytherin dormitories, Lu Ke. "
Lu Ke sighed: "Thank you for not killing my roommate."
Three days passed in a blink of an eye, and soon it was time for the duel.
Not long after lunch, the empty classroom was filled with curious students.
They couldn't wait to see the legendary wizard duel.
The classroom had obviously been rearranged, with a long and narrow platform in the middle, just enough for the dueling parties to stand on it.
Professor Snape hadn't arrived yet, but Professor Quirrell came here unexpectedly.
His explanation was: "This is the best opportunity to observe actual defense against dark arts. I hope all students can learn something useful."
Considering Professor Quirrell's teaching style, everyone felt that he just wanted to find an excuse to continue teaching like this.
But no one could stop Professor Quirrell, not even them.
Half an hour before the duel started, Lu Ke walked into the classroom.
The twins held up a "Lu Ke Must Win" sign in the crowd and shouted for him. When Lu Ke passed by, they smiled and patted Lu Ke's shoulders.
"Don't lose, Lu Ke!"
Lu Ke couldn't help but laugh: "If I lose, how much will you lose?"
The twins grimaced: "Just gonna win less."
"This is a big loss in itself. Don't let us down, Lu Ke."
Lu Ke smiled and squeezed through the crowd and stood under the platform.
After some time, Snape came in.
He was still the same as before, with a gloomy face, like a bat.
After a while, Malfoy walked into the classroom with his assistants.
Crabbe and Goyle cleared the way in front, Malfoy smiled and waved around, as if a champion was entering, they walked to the platform.
Snape gave Malfoy a cold look.
"You're late, Malfoy."
Malfoy smiled: "It's because there are too many people outside."
Snape was silent for a moment.
"The duel begins, give me your wands."
Malfoy handed the wand to Snape, not forgetting to smile provocatively at Luke.
With a look of helplessness, Lu Ke took out the "Giant's Wand" from his schoolbag, which was almost never used.
Snape took out his wand, examined the two wands carefully, and then handed them back to the two of them.
"The wand has not moved, so the duel begins."
Snape said and asked two people to stand on the platform, one on each side, facing each other.
"When I say start, the duel begins. If one party admits defeat or is unable to act, or falls out of the field, the winner will be determined. When the duelist fails, the assistant can take his place and continue the duel until all parties lose."
After Snape finished speaking, he glanced at Lu Ke meaningfully: "According to the agreement between the two parties before the duel, the winner can make a request that does not violate school rules, and the loser must complete it."
Malfoy yelled angrily: "This is different from what was promised!"
But Snape just looked at him expressionlessly: "Both sides are ready."
Lu Ke stood still and raised the wand in his hand.
Malfoy also raised his wand with an angry look on his face.
"start!"
"All petrified!"
Almost as soon as Snape opened his mouth, Malfoy threw a spell.
Lu Ke was already charging forward, but the platform was too narrow and he still couldn't escape.
Malfoy sneered as Lu Ke suddenly stopped and then stayed there motionless.
A din of surprise erupted from the surrounding crowd.
Then Malfoy opened his arms: "I win!"
Snape glanced at Luke.
"No, you have to make him admit defeat, or fall off the platform, or prove that he is unable to resist."
Malfoy glanced at Snape with a proud smile, and then walked towards Lu Ke.
"If I step on his face and he doesn't move, does that prove that he is unable to resist?"
Malfoy said, raising his wand and pointing it at Lu Ke, preparing to cast a spell.
But at that moment, Lu Ke's hand grasped Malfoy's wand.
Like a ghost, silent and inescapable.
Malfoy gaped at Lu Ke.
Lu Ke showed a stiff smile: "Are you surprised?"
Malfoy's eyes flashed.
"Shattered to pieces..."
But before Malfoy could finish, his wand broke with a crisp sound.
Malfoy bent down and let out a pained roar: "No!"
Lu Ke let go of his hand and let half of the wand fall to the ground: "Sorry, I'm too scared."
But looking at his expression, there was no sign of fear at all.
Malfoy looked up and glared at Lu Ke angrily.
But he saw a cold gaze.
Malfoy shuddered unconsciously.
Snape walked towards the two of them, pulled Malfoy behind him, raised his wand and pointed it at Lu Ke: "You did not cast a spell to undo the petrification. I need to explain. This does not comply with the rules of dueling."
Lu Ke nodded and pushed up the sleeve of the right arm of his robe.
"A little alchemical thing."
It was a small medicine bottle tied to his right arm, connected to a needle through a hose, and inserted into the large vein of Lu Ke's right arm.
"When my muscles become stiff, this pillow will automatically inject medicine into my blood vessels."
Snape's eyes flashed: "That's the potion to undo petrification, I don't remember..."
"The herbal ingredients I borrowed from Professor Sputraw."
That's not what Snape was talking about.
He remembered very clearly that those two textbooks, plus Snape himself, did not teach how to prepare the petrification potion.
"Using magic items other than wands violates the rules of dueling and will result in direct defeat."
Snape said this expressionlessly, then put down his wand.
There was a terrifying noise in the surroundings, the twins' voices were particularly loud, and it seemed that everyone was opposed to this decision.
In the midst of this chaos, Professor Quirrell climbed up onto the platform with difficulty.
"Objection! This meets the requirements of a duel, and there is a precedent that can be used as a basis!"
Finally, Quirrell stood in front of Snape.
"The duel must be absolutely fair!"
