Harry Potter and the Attack of the Squibs
Chapter 4 Aristocratic Style
Professor McGonagall finally nodded and agreed to Lu Ke's request: "If the boss is willing."
The boss smiled and agreed.
So from then until the beginning of school, Lu Ke became a waiter at the Leaky Cauldron.
Although there are many things that can be done with magic, Lu Ke soon proved that there is nothing wrong with using people to do it.
Especially when the boss finds himself chatting happily with an acquaintance, he doesn't have to go to the back to get something.
By the time school started, Lu Ke had already made a little money, which could at least repay Professor McGonagall for buying the owl and still have some leftover.
But Lu Ke didn't buy anything.
Although many tavern guests recommended medicines and remedies to cure squibs to him.
He spent all his free time practicing magic.
But unfortunately, Lu Ke failed to perform any magic.
So yes, it is very certain that Lu Ke is a squib.
Before finally saying goodbye to the boss and walking out of the tavern to go to platform nine and three-quarters, Lu Ke touched all the Galleons in his pocket, but in the end he did not enter Diagon Alley.
Owl Pallas stood on Lu Ke's shoulder and looked at him, but in the end he did nothing.
"Let's go back to Hogwarts."
Lu Ke walked into platform nine and three-quarters alone with all his belongings, boarded the steam train before most of the little wizards, and chose an ordinary carriage.
Soon other little wizards entered the carriage. Two girls and another boy came in from Lu Ke's side.
But it seems that these three people know each other.
"My name is Lu Ke."
Lu Ke greeted everyone with a smile when they came in.
After all, they are young wizards at Hogwarts, and they are still innocent teenagers who have just entered school. Lu Ke looked at them with emotion.
He even feels like an old father.
The two girls talked and laughed, and occasionally took care of the boy. Lu Ke smiled kindly and charmingly throughout the whole process, and this continued until the snack cart appeared.
The owl Pallas pounced on a chocolate frog as quietly and swiftly as if he were preying on prey.
Lu Ke shook his head helplessly and took out a silver siko.
"Want something to eat, ladies?"
Lu Ke's pretending to be a gentleman caused a burst of laughter from the two girls, who reservedly chose the cake and the licorice wand.
Then Lu Ke took two chocolate frogs for himself and gave one to the boy on the side: "This is the first time I have seen this. Where I come from, it represents a beautiful meaning."
The owl Pallas has returned to Lu Ke's shoulder, and its three other children looked at Lu Ke curiously.
"Represents longevity."
After speaking, Lu Ke bit off the two hind legs of the chocolate frog.
The boy smiled and said, "I wish you a long life."
Then all four of them laughed.
Only Pallas glanced at Lu Ke with contempt, and then took away the remaining half of the chocolate frog in Lu Ke's hand at lightning speed.
In the following time, the four people began to chat and joke with restraint. Lu Ke could clearly feel that he was like this because he had no interest in topics that interested children, and the remaining three were tutors.
Lu Ke met three Slytherins.
He couldn't help but laugh as he thought this.
Lu Ke knew the least about Slytherin. Looking back on it now, a long time later, it was the college that made him most curious.
They had a pleasant chat, but Lu Ke unconsciously got a little carried away, especially when evaluating the mysterious man.
But judging from the reactions of the three freshmen, they didn't care.
The train arrived at Hogwarts safely. The luggage was left on the car. When getting off the train, Lu Ke reached out to help the two girls.
Then there was a tall castle in front of them.
A rough voice was still clearly distinguishable in the noisy crowd: "Freshmen! Freshmen, come to me!"
Lu Ke moved slowly with the crowd, and finally walked up to Hagrid with other freshmen.
At this time, thin drops of rain began to fall from the sky.
"Four of us together!"
Hagrid shouted, and the crowd erupted in awe.
A white horse's head rose from the dark lake.
It was some kind of magical animal from the legend. Its upper body was a horse, its lower body was a fish, and it was pulling a bubble-like carriage behind it.
"hurry up!"
Lu Ke and others walked forward together, and when they passed Hagrid, they heard him whispering to himself: "The rain will get heavier and heavier, this damn weather..."
They stepped into the carriage on the stone pier and sat in the water bubble. Then the magical animals pulled the carriage and began to dive.
It was a wonderful feeling, a little scary at first, but after the carriage was completely submerged in the water, all that was left was surprise.
Schools of fish swim in the dark water, and the magical animals in front of the carriage are very vigorous. There are strange and bizarre scenes everywhere under the water, and there are huge ominous shadows sliding across far away.
"This is Hogwarts..."
The four of them sighed together.
Soon they arrived at the castle, and the four of them climbed the steps together and stood in front of a large oak door.
Hagrid held a lantern in the rain, yelling to make sure no one was absent, and finally knocked on the door.
The door opened, and a black-haired witch in green robes came out.
She is Professor McGonagall.
Professor McGonagall nodded and led the freshmen into the door.
While walking, he explained some basic precautions to the new students.
Lu Ke was absent-minded because he was too familiar with these.
"Mr. Lu Ke."
What Lu Ke didn't expect was that Professor McGonagall mentioned him alone.
"Please put the owl in a cage."
Lu Ke was stunned for a moment, then smiled: "Its name is Pallas. How can wisdom be put in a cage?"
Professor McGonagall remained expressionless: "This is a rule."
Pallas nodded to Lu Ke, then spread his wings and flew up.
Lu Ke's salute was left on the train together with the owl cage, and Pallas went back to find its cage.
"Wait here."
The new students had heard Professor McGonagall talk about the Sorting Hat, and they couldn't help but start whispering.
"I think you'd be a good fit for Slytherin too, Mr. Luke."
Lu Ke smiled. As expected, the three freshmen around him were all Slytherins.
"I'm a pragmatist with a bottom line."
All three laughed.
In a sense, this is a sentence that is very consistent with the aristocratic code of conduct.
Of course, this is because the three little Slytherins have already assumed that Lu Ke is a noble, so they think so.
At the same age of eleven, Lu Ke's precocity was more obvious than that of the three purebloods who had received aristocratic education since childhood. This was the most obvious evidence.
