Harry Potter and the Legend of the Temple
Chapter 9 Platform Nine and Three Quarters
The next few days of summer vacation became Louis' alone time again, but now Louis has changed a lot from before.
He often exchanged letters with Harry, Ginny and others who were far away at the Burrow. The white snow owl Hedwig became a frequent visitor to No. 5 Privet Drive. Hedwig often played with the gray owl Fulla, but Fulla always loved her. The way he ignored her made Hedwig a little unhappy.
The letter described Harry's life in the Burrow. Even though he had known Ron for nearly a year, this was his first time going to the Burrow, so he was naturally extremely curious about this wizarding family.
Fred and George were a living treasure, Percy often locked himself in his room and didn't know what to do, Mrs. Weasley was always busy, and Ron's room was filled with the Quidditch team Charlie Cannons. The poster is a full-fledged fan.
"Hey, Fulla, don't hurt Hedwig."
The gray owl was obviously a little annoyed at being harassed by Hedwig, and suddenly fluttered, frightening the white snow owl immediately.
Louis scolded Fulla, and suddenly his eyes glanced at the black-covered diary.
Tom Riddle's diary was lying quietly on his bookshelf. Somehow, he pulled out the diary and took it into his suitcase.
His original plan was to leave the diary in the Muggle world, and as long as it was not taken into Hogwarts, nothing would happen. But then he thought again, this diary is not an ordinary black magic prop, it is a Horcrux. If it is just thrown into the Muggle world, it may cause an even greater disaster.
But if the diary is in his hands, and he doesn't touch it, and hands it over to Dumbledore when the time comes, will the root cause of the Chamber of Secrets incident be solved?
Louis shook his head. Maybe he thought too simply. Voldemort's soul fragments may not be so easy to deal with.
In the last few days of the summer vacation, Louis stayed in his room, reading the books recommended to him by Hermione, and practicing a few simple spells. Potions are relatively difficult, but with Louis' talent, he was able to prepare several simple potions in a short time. This speed would even surprise Hermione, who was about to enter her second year.
However, there is often a pungent smell in the house, so that Mrs. Wiggins often shrinks away when delivering food.
August 31, nine o'clock.
"Louis, it's time for us to go!" Mrs. Wiggins shouted to Louis who closed the door.
"Got it, Mom."
Louis quickly packed up his things, threw all the big and small bags into the suitcase, closed Fulla's birdcage, and went out wearing a pair of tight jeans.
"This ticket is interesting. Station nine and three-quarters. Does this station really exist?" Mr. Wiggins looked at the information on the ticket and said to himself unconsciously.
"This is a station specially opened for wizards, Dad." Louis said as he took the ticket from Mr. Wiggins. "I'm afraid people who don't understand magic won't be able to find it."
"Yes, yes, my little wizard." Mr. Wiggins shrugged, closed the car door, stepped on the clutch, shifted into gear, and all at once, the three of them headed straight for London's ancient King's Cross station.
The whine of the train spread throughout the station. The Wiggins family waited in front of platform nine for a long time, and finally a large group of Weasley's people arrived.
"Hey, Louis, I'm sorry there's something going on at home." Mr. Weasley seemed a little tired. Although he arrived a little late, he still caught up.
"Okay, honey, stop nagging, there are only five minutes left!" Mrs. Weasley reminded, "We have to speed up, Percy, you go first."
"Wait a minute." Louis seemed to remember something. He pushed the suitcase and said to everyone, "Why don't we let Harry go first, and then we will follow closely."
"Okay, it's the same for everyone." Mrs. Weasley looked at the watch in her hand. It was a strange dial with no hour hand and only a few stars moving.
Although Harry wondered why Louis suggested that he go first, he still trotted forward. However, after a while, reality gave him the answer.
"Shaking." There was a loud noise, and the cart that was supposed to pass through rebounded violently, and Harry was knocked to the ground. Hedwig's cage was bounced to the polished floor, and she let out an angry cry as the cage continued to be turned.
"As expected." Louis muttered silently in his heart. Even if Harry was allowed to leave first, the house elf Dobby would still stop him.
"Harry! Are you okay?" Ron and many Weasley family members hurried forward to ask. Harry tremblingly got up from the ground, patted the dirt on his body and said:
"I'm fine, it's just this pillar."
"It's been enchanted, give way to Harry." Mr. Weasley stepped forward and touched the solid wall, took out his wand and read
"All curses end!"
A burst of orange light erupted from the end of Arthur's wand, hitting the wall of Platform Nine. All spells are ultimately relatively advanced magic spells, which shows that Arthur's magical attainments are not shallow.
"Okay, let's go, kids." Mr. Weasley looked around and saw that no other unrelated Muggles were paying attention to the situation here, and led the family through the wall.
Louis and Harry bid farewell to the Wiggins waiting aside and trotted through the wall.
When they came out again, they saw the red steaming train, and a sign indicating Platform Nine and Three-Quarters was hung on the platform.
"See you on the train, Louis." Harry waved to Louis and disappeared into the crowd.
Thick smoke from steam locomotives lingered over the chattering crowd, and cats of various colors walked under people's feet. Amid the hum of the crowd and the noise of hauling heavy luggage, owls hooted in response.
Louis, who finally squeezed into the train, looked at the first few carriages that were already packed with students and shook his head, then grabbed his suitcase and hurried back. Louis did not see Harry, Ron or Hermione.
There was a relatively free carriage near the rear of the car. There was only a girl with silver-white hair holding a magazine and wearing a pair of extremely strange glasses.
"Hello, can I sit here?" Louis greeted first, and the girl seemed to hear Louis' voice and raised her head.
"Hi, hello, boy from Ollivander's Wand Shop, we meet again." The girl made an ethereal voice, which shocked Louis slightly.
"It's you?!"
Louis looked surprised. He didn't expect that the girl he had glimpsed in the wand shop would meet again on the Hogwarts Express.
However, the girl's current scene is quite different from that in Ollivander's place.
"Louis Wiggins, nice to meet you, who are you?" Louis introduced friendly, watching the reaction of the girl opposite.
