Harry Potter and the Temple of Tales

Chapter 126: Threat and Resistance

"Dear Spider King, I just want to ask you a question."

Lewis' tone seemed extremely modest. These eight-eyed spiders were definitely not easy to mess with. Fresh human flesh delivered to them was the ultimate temptation.

If Aragog hadn't suppressed them, these spiders would have swarmed up.

"As the overlord on the outskirts of the Forbidden Forest, you should know the location of the vampire."

"Did you lure that vampire here?" Aragog waved its large pincers and made a violent sound, which seemed to express its dissatisfaction.

"Of course not. We are just hunting down a dark wizard who is trying to cause a bloody storm in Hogwarts."

"But unfortunately, the originally smooth operation was ruined by a vampire that suddenly appeared." Louis spread his hands, seemingly relaxed and contented on the outside, but actually panicked inside.

"The dark wizard was captured by the vampire. We plan to rescue him."

"Oh, that's impossible. You don't know how powerful the vampire is, so naturally you don't know how terrifying it is." Aragog's tone was full of ridicule, "However, I remember that in the eyes of you humans, dark wizards are evil.

Existence, you two kids actually want to save him."

Louis only felt the group of spiders getting closer and closer to them, and Hermione even leaned against Louis' back and did not dare to move.

"I just don't want him to fall into the hands of vampires. If you can help me..."

"I can't help you, human. Even if you are Hagrid's friend, I can't risk the future of my people. Dracula is the most powerful being in the Forbidden Forest. We are not in conflict with each other, but with him

The power is enough to slaughter the entire Forbidden Forest." Aragog slowly backed away, as if he was unwilling to say another word to Louis.

"Okay... In that case, I think we should leave. Thank you for your help, Aragog." Louis and Hermione backed away slowly.

"Leave? I don't think so." Upon hearing that they were leaving, Aragog suddenly became excited.

"Under my command, my children will not harm Hagrid, but I will not stop them from eating meat, especially the tenderest piece that comes to their mouths. Goodbye, Hagrid's friends."

"Hermione!" Louis yelled at her, and then the two of them turned around quickly. Two powerful spiders retreated and bombarded the copper wall made of eight-eyed spiders, and nearly half of it collapsed.

But the eight-eyed spider has the advantage of numbers. Although the individual combat ability is indeed not strong, with thousands of spiders, even Dumbledore will feel numb.

These spiders are probably die-hard StarCraft players, and the Zerg's tactics will be outdone by them.

"There is indeed some ability, but it's useless. Kill them all." Aragog's voice echoed throughout the spider territory.

More and more spiders were attacking the two of them. They were moving the giant pincers in their mouths, making clicking noises, as if they were blowing war drums.

"Louis..." Hermione's heart collapsed for the first time. After all, she was still a girl. Under these conditions, even Zhiduoxing couldn't come up with a way to escape.

Knowing that it would break its promise, Louis cursed secretly. Now there was no Ford Speedster in the Forbidden Forest to save them.

"Are you crazy?" Hermione was shocked when she saw Louis running inward instead of outside. The boy's eyes were full of determination. He waved his wand and shouted:

"Spiders retreat!"

The red light from the wand kept hitting the spider blocking his way, and then there was a slight gap between him and Aragog. He seized the opportunity to shoot two cannons at the spider king.

"It's useless, stupid little wizard." Aragog laughed. Although the Spider King was over fifty years old, his powerful body had already developed a certain resistance to magic. An adult wizard might still be able to hurt it.

, but Louis' curse is just childish fooling around to it.

"It's over." Aragog closed his eyes, and a large number of spiders swamped Louis and Hermione. He couldn't help feeling a little regretful, maybe feeling sorry for Hagrid.

But the familiar sound of decomposing bodies did not appear. Aragog stopped returning to his lair and turned around.

The place where the two people were standing suddenly emitted a large amount of green light, and then a huge snake-like creature appeared in Aragog's sight.

Look, that's gold, oh no, green legend!

That was the creature it was most afraid of in its life, and the creature it hated the most. Fifty years ago, it was precisely because of the panic it created that Aragog was innocently blamed and forced to come to the Forbidden Forest.

It is also the natural enemy of their eight-eyed spider, the basilisk.

"This monster is not dead?" Aragog trembled from the depths of his soul.

As soon as the basilisk Lili came out, he saw eight-eyed spiders all over the ground. Those spiders did not dare to step forward and retreated one after another. This was due to the suppression of their souls and their own instinctive fear of natural enemies.

"Lily, do it, no need to show mercy." Lewis rode on the back of the basilisk and ordered in a snake accent.

Lili's eyes flashed with excitement. The spiders in this place were simply delicacies to it. It immediately opened its bows from left to right, constantly killing the eight-eyed spiders.

If those spiders come together, it is indeed possible that the basilisk is not their opponent, but the suppression of natural enemies makes these spiders unable to resist.

"Stop, human, I think we can have a good talk." Aragog made a trembling voice. In front of the basilisk, even the king of spiders seemed so small.

"No chance Aragog, you broke your promise first."

"Of course I won't kill you. You are Hagrid's best friend in the Forbidden Forest. If you die, Hagrid will be sad."

"If you speak arrogantly, you will one day die of your own ignorance." Aragog roared, and this day seemed to be the end of his eight-eyed spider.

It moved its large pincers and sprayed out venom. The fifty-year-old eight-eyed spider finally moved. Although all the joints in its body were extremely insensitive, it could not watch its children being slaughtered.

"Petrified."

The basilisk's sharp eyes were directed at Aragog, and the Spider King's entire body suddenly froze. It represented the basilisk's eyes of death, but for such a powerful magical animal, it was only a physical petrification.

But this was enough, Aragog was frozen motionless at the entrance of the cave, and the eight-eyed spider group spontaneously collapsed and left, just like a country in Europe that surrendered without a fight.

Lily burped contentedly, Louis and then Hermione got off the basilisk, looking at the messy and broken battlefield, sighing in their hearts.

Although the Eight-Eyed Spider is innocent, if it hadn't been for Lili, the two of them would have died here today.

Hermione was always in shock. She knew about the basilisk, but she didn't expect it to be conquered by Louis. This secret that had existed in Hogwarts for more than a thousand years actually benefited Louis in the end?

How many trump cards did this boy have hiding? Hermione could no longer see through this junior student who was one year younger than her.

"Thank you for your hard work today." Louis patted the basilisk on the head and was about to take it back. However, at this moment, the color in the sky changed drastically. Louis frowned and looked back.

A figure wearing a black cloak appeared in their field of vision.
