Harry potter catastrophe

Chapter 156: On the gift that makes Hermione tangled

"Carney. Carney. Carney." A voice recalled in his mind, and the voice gradually became clearer. It was Neville's voice.

"Kani, why did you fall asleep on the ground?" Kani opened his eyes and saw Neville, who was always the first to get up.

"It's okay, I'm a little sleepy at night." Carney felt that his head was swollen, and Xiao Hei was still being pressed by him.

It was that nightmare again, but the way he died was different, it was another tree.

But he had only seen the one in front, and the one behind him shouldn't be in his memory. Tom might not even have seen the other giant trees when he turned around.

I can't figure it out, so I can only wait until night and sleep again. Since death can be avoided, maybe I can go to the Colossus and have a look.

Wake up Harry and the others early and go to the dining room to have breakfast.

"Slytherin has gained another twenty points. How did they add points over the weekend?" Carney looked at the gems on the scoring column.

"I guess Snape found some reason to add it," Harry said.

"I hope I won't be so tired today." Each content they learned took several classes. Last week was all about mandrake work, and Ron was not easy to be tired.

"Maybe you should read the textbook." Sprout taught according to the textbook. After the mandrake there are swelling grass blades.

All the owls came with the morning paper. None of them had ordered it, only Neville had ordered it.

Neville took the roll of newspapers dropped by the owl, and before he could open it, another package fell into his arms.

"What is this?" Everyone else also received the package, except Ron.

"Wizard's robe?" Carney opened his package, which contained a gorgeous wizard's robe. Neville received a stack of herbal books, and Seamus received an exquisite quill.

"Harry, look what you have there?" It's Harry's biggest one, it looks like a broomstick.

"Wow." Ron shouted in surprise. Their movement attracted many people.

"This is the latest series of flying broomsticks - Nimbus Two Thousand and One!" The name of this Nimbus series is printed in gold on the smooth and delicate head of the broom.

"Who gave it to me?" Ron asked sourly. He was the only one in the whole dormitory who didn't have it.

"It's Sirius." Harry untied a letter from the owl's feet, which was written by his godfather.

"This is the meeting gift he gave us." Harry looked at the contents of the letter, "Ron, your gift is here."

"Where?" Ron looked around, maybe he didn't notice it because the package was too small. "No."

"Right in front of you." Harry said with a smile.

"You mean this?" Ron said, looking at the gray owl eating breakfast on his plate.

"Yes, because of Scabbers, Sirius will give you a replacement pet."

"This is great. I've wanted to have an owl of my own for a long time." Ron picked up his new owl, "I have to think of a nice name for it."

"It's rare for you to get up so early." Hermione came over with a textbook wrapped in cloth.

"Hermione, have you received Sirius's gift?" Harry asked. He called Hedwig to carry the broomstick back to the room. His was too big to fit.

"Of course, but I haven't come yet for the emergency release." Hermione said, "What did you all receive?"

"Harry is the latest broomstick, Seamus is the quill, Carney is the wizard's robe, and Neville is the herbal book." Ron rushed to say.

"And I am Xiao En!" He picked up the owl in his arms.

"You picked up a name so quickly." Carney picked up his wizard's robe and looked at it front and back, especially turning over the sleeves.

"..." Hermione frowned and moved the cloth package in her arms.

"Hermione, is that a gift from Sirius? Open it and take a look." Ron said, he felt that besides Harry's most valuable gift, it was his.

Books, clothes, and quills are not as expensive as owls, and Hagrid spent a lot of money to choose Harry's one.

"No, I'll unpack it when I go back to the dormitory." Hermione said holding the book and package.

"Let's see."

"No!" Hermione screamed. Hermione's attitude was so firm that they couldn't force her to look at her.

"Class is about to start, let's go." After Hermione finished eating, they all went outside the greenhouse and waited for Professor Sprout to arrive.

Everything was stored in the crystal pendant given by Carney. Hermione thought the pendant was too troublesome and never wore it. She said it was kept in the dormitory as a box for storing things.

"Second Greenhouse!" Sprout waved his hand and led everyone into the second greenhouse.

"Hermione is too stingy." When they entered, Hermione was a little far away from them, and Ron whispered.

"Don't say that, maybe the things Sirius gave to girls are inconvenient to take out and look at," Carney said.

"What we are going to learn about this week is swollen grass blades. Does anyone know..." Sprout would ask before each class about the characteristics of the plants he was about to learn.

"Who?" Sprout said.

"Neville Longbottom, tell me." Hermione unusually did not raise her hand, so Neville had no choice but to raise his hand to grab the score.

Now they, Gryffindor and Slytherin, are competing for points. The competition for points in the senior class is extremely fierce. Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw seem to have no hope this time. Gryffindor has surpassed them.

More than one hundred and fifty.

After the outbreak last semester, they have calmed down again and are not too keen on answering questions in class. Let's leave this opportunity to the two competing colleges.

"The mesophyll of the swollen grass leaves is tough. When attacked, the leaves will swell to defend themselves. If an herbivore accidentally bites it, the suddenly swollen leaf bulb will dislocate its mouth." Neville memorized all the introductions in the book.

Carney can only look at it and remember it if it is slightly interesting, but he will not remember it as firmly as Neville and Hermione.

By the way, there are no points for picking up the book and reading it.

"Very good, ten points from Gryffindor." Sprout continued, "Does anyone know the characteristics?"

"Ed Jobson."

Neville first looked in Hermione's direction, but was a step too late and was snatched away by the Hufflepuff students.

Hermione still didn't raise her hands, holding her books and packages in a daze. There were no stools or free tables in the greenhouse, so she had no place to put those things.

The herbal medicine class goes to the greenhouse, and everyone basically doesn't bring anything with them. Only a few people bring laptops, and only Neville brings one in their dormitory.

Hermione didn't raise her hand until the end of the get out of class. She didn't know what she was thinking. Fortunately, Neville got the points he deserved for this class.

When returning to the dormitory to change textbooks, Hermione walked in a hurry, and Carney and the others followed quickly, which was very unusual.

"What happened to her?" Neville said.

"Are you sick?" Harry said.

"Hermione, what's wrong with you? Are you sick?" Carney asked.

"No." Hermione just wanted to go back to the dormitory quickly and put the package back in the dormitory.

As a result, Hermione walked too hastily and was bumped into by students running in the corridor. The books and parcels she was holding fell to the ground, and the cloth parcels were opened at once.

"I'm sorry." They continued to quarrel and left, Hermione ignored them, blushed and hurriedly picked up the package and hid it in her wizard's robe.

"It's a wizard's robe, very ordinary." Ron blurted out. The ones given by Sirius all looked good, especially the Kani one.

So when he saw Hermione, he couldn't help but blurt out that if there wasn't the Carney one in front, that one was actually pretty good. He didn't know what was wrong with it.

"Did Sirius send the wrong ones? He gave the ones that were supposed to go to Hermione to Carney, and the ones that were supposed to go to Carney went to Hermione." Seamus said.

Hermione couldn't hear this sentence and ran away long after Ron finished speaking.

"Sirius must have made a mistake." Harry felt that Hermione had received a bad gift and was unhappy because of it. He had seen his cousin Dudley get furious because he received one less gift.

Maybe normal children would be a little unhappy when receiving bad gifts. At least Hermione was much better than her cousin Dudley. Ron would also complain a bit about receiving bad gifts at Christmas.

"Maybe." Carney shrugged. Hermione was probably not the kind of person who would be unhappy when receiving a bad gift.

"I'll write to Sirius and ask," Harry said.

"No, it's such a small thing. I'll give her my own one later. I'm not very particular about what to wear, and I have several more." Carney doesn't have many requirements for wizard robes, and besides, he still has them there.

Five or six pieces, and Hermione even gave him one as a gift.
