Harry Potter: I Am a Legend

Chapter 58: , The broken grip

In the record of the book of spells, Hoffa stared at what happened before him. He wondered why the previous generation of Dark Lord and the principal met on a small island.

"I don't see anything to talk about between us, Grindelwald."

Dippet said softly: "As long as you hand over the remains to me, the three competing islands will be yours."

They're making a deal... Principal Dipeter actually made a deal with Grindelwald, and Hoffa frowned slightly as he watched the memory.

"no no."

Grindelwald shook his fingers. "I am not interested in the agreements written on paper, and I believe Armando are not interested in you either. We wizards have always believed in equivalent exchanges. You tell me the location of the library, and I will give you the remains of the saints. How about ?"

"I want to take a look first." Dipeter said.

He looked calm, but his trembling fingertips showed that he was not at peace, which Hoffa had observed.

Grindelwald waved his hand, and several men in trench coats silently carried a large black wooden coffin and walked over and placed them heavily on the ground.

Hoffa's attention shifted to the wooden coffin, which was carved with intricate religious patterns and had a black metal goat skull on the top.

He just wanted to get closer and see what the deal was between Dipeter and Grindelwald.

Adbe Gosakra took him.

In the next second, a man in the distance walked quickly and said sharply, "Wait a minute."

Hoffa's face changed slightly when he looked at it.

He had seen someone here, with a long face and high nose, and it was Schmidt Lutrov who was a little younger. The dark wizard who clashed with Hogsmeade in the Forbidden Forest.

He wears very similar to Grindelwald, and depending on the tailoring of the clothes, he should be a subordinate of Grindelwald.

But what is strange is that although he looks a lot like Schmidt now, his attitude is different from what he had seen before.

He is not the indifferent, unscrupulous, and emotionless appearance in the Forbidden Forest. He trot all the way to Grindelwald with a joyful expression of inviting credit to his master, and whispered a few words in his ears flatteringly.

Grindelwald gave an unpredictable smile after listening, and he looked up at Dippet on the opposite side.

"My staff just told me an interesting piece of news. Principal Dippet, are you interested in hearing it."

"Please say."

"My men told me that this island was suddenly imposed with a magic circle that prohibits apparition, and now no one can apparate away from this island."

Armando Dippet was expressionless and did not answer.

And Grindelwald rubbed his chin: "Master principal, you don't seem to panic at all."

Armando tilted his head and put his fingers on his waist.

Grindelwald snapped his fingers: "Yeah, I'm really stupid. I want to come to this kind of forbidden spell at Hogwarts, too. Principal Dipeter must have been used to a life that cannot be apparated."

He said in a grandiose tone, but there was a dangerous light shining in his eyes.

Dippet was not talking nonsense, he suddenly pulled out his wand and pointed Grindelwald without any muddle.

Accompanied by a dazzling purple light, and a continuous crackling.

There were nearly ten masked wizards around inexplicably.

They lifted their wands at the same time, and the light from the top of the wand and Dipeter's spell merged into a thick purple lightning, which rushed towards Grindelwald.

Just looking at the memory, Hoffa could feel the terrible power contained in the purple spell.

"Is this a symbol of self-proclaimed justice? Armando, you are really skilled! Hahahaha!"

Grindelwald laughed and waved his old magic wand, and the thick purple light was blown away before it hit Grindelwald.

Grindelwald stepped back three steps, his blond hair unraveling in the frantic power of the spell. His expression was not afraid, but was filled with hot excitement.

The scattered purple electric lights did not dissipate, they scattered like a snake. The wizards behind Grindelwald were not as powerful as him.

Many wizards twitched and fell to the ground after touching the purple light. Schmidt was one of them, and he screamed and fell to the ground. But soon, his body turned into a jellyfish full of tentacles, and he himself ran away desperately.

There were several wizards running with him.

Dippet said with a cold face: "Catch them, don't keep one."

The masked wizards around Diepert raised their wands together again, and everyone locked on a German wizard.

"Have you asked my opinion!?"

Grindelwald flicked his blond hair, and he held his wand in a strange way.

He said loudly: "Broken Grip."

As the spell was read, the surrounding scene quickly began to change.

The ground trembled, the cliffs began to shatter, countless huge cracks and gullies appeared on the island, and huge waves were thrown on the sea. It was as terrible as a magnitude 9 earthquake.

Standing at the center of the shaking, Grindelwald screamed up to the sky.

Several wizards around Dippet fell into the huge gully unpreparedly, and the horrified calls continued.

Hoffa's eyes straightened as he watched the memory.

Is this the power of the Deathly Hallows?

The matter was not over yet, Grindelwald's face was bruised, and the old magic wand picked up.

The broken ground came to life completely, they were entangled together to form huge arms, and the rubble flew across. The dozen or so wizards around Dippet were all firmly grasped by the gravel arm and **** in the air.

Except for Principal Dippet, no one was spared. They screamed but couldn't move.

Hoffa was shocked when he saw this scene.

One spell controlled nearly ten wizards, so powerful spells!

Just as Hoffa wanted to continue to observe the development of the situation, Gorsak clapped his palms behind him.

Patter.

Suddenly, all the scenes in front of him stopped.

Laughing Grindelwald, Armando Dippet who looked pale, huge rock arms, struggling wizards, scattered spells, all the birds in the sky stopped.

It's like time has stopped.

Hoffa turned around and saw that it was Goshak who had stopped the flow of the book of spells.

"Professor, they..."

"Bach, calm is the good character of a wizard." Gorsak said: "Except for the task, you don't care about anything. Now, we start the class."

He stood beside the sculpture-like Grindelwald, pointed to Grindelwald and said.

"This is Gettler Grindelwald, who dropped out of school at the age of 16 in Armstrong, Russia, and became a German citizen at the age of 26. He is a very powerful dark wizard with extraordinary talent.

In this scene, Grindelwald uses a very complicated magic. [Broken Grip], successfully controlled nearly ten adult wizards with powerful mana. "

Gosak talked freely:

"Broken Grip is a spell invented by Grindelwald himself. It looks like a spell, but it is actually a powerful transformation spell. It can change the scene through magic, thereby creating obstacles for the opponent and restraining the opponent.

Goshak stood with his hands in his hands, and said in a flat tone: "Since you came to me on the initiative, then I will let you try to understand Grindelwald and his magic. If Miranda shows signs of change next time, you can use This spell controls her."

Hoffa looked at the scene in front of him. Those wizards who were imprisoned by gravel, Nimon with earrings were among them.

He turned his head and looked at Gorshak, whose expression remained unchanged, and he couldn't help feeling that what Aglaia said was not bad at all. This old man was really iron and blood. Sure enough, let myself learn advanced defense skills, or learn from Grindelwald.

Hoffa: "I will try hard."

"I need an affirmative answer." Goshak said rigidly.

Hoffa nodded, "Of course."

Goshak put his hand on Hoffa's shoulder.

Suddenly, the endless white mist enveloped Hoffa, and the scene in front of him quickly blurred.

...

Hoffa was inexplicably anxious, and was dragged out halfway through the show. What's in the black coffin? What is the result of the matter?

But he didn't ask these words, and Goshak didn't mean any explanation.

When Hoffa recovered, he had left the book of spells and sat back at Gorshak's humble desk.

He stared blankly at the runes on the book of spells.

All kinds of confusion came in my brain.

But Gosak didn't care about Hoffa's feelings.

"Practice, if not, I can guide you." Goshak said.

For the rest of the night, Hoffa tried hard at the Transfiguration Curse of Broken Grip in Goshak's office. What disappointed him was that the difficulty of releasing this magic was far beyond his imagination.

He imitated Grindelwald's tone and syllables, but when he waved his wand, nothing changed.

There may also be a slight change. Hoffa felt the dust on the ground shake a few times when he waved his wand.

But he wasn't sure if it was caused by magic or was caught in the wind when he swung his wand.

But when he tried to perceive and analyze the ground with spirit, like a deformed wand, he encountered great resistance. This resistance was unexpected by Hoffa, as if the ground was resisting his own mental violence.

Gorschak was not surprised by Hoffa's nothing. But he also did not demonstrate this transformation spell in front of Hoffa. It was just that he wrote some analysis on the spell on the parchment and gave it to Hoffa so that Hoffa could go back and study it on his own.

Just when he walked to the office exit, Hoffa couldn't help but turn around and asked: "Professor, if you want me to master the Transfiguration Curse, why not let...?"

"Don't let Albus Dumbledore teach you?"

Hoffa shut up, he did have this doubt.

Goshak shook his head.

"You are a Ravenclaw student, and Ravenclaw students have their own pride. If you can, I hope you can resolve this spell on your own. Go out, when you have mastered the transformation spell, come back to me ."

......

Back at the Ravenclaw Tower, Hoffa was very tired, but after he changed his clothes, he was not sleepy at all. He was lying on the bed with his arms in his arms, staring blankly at the dark blue curtain on the four-poster bed.

When he was busy, he couldn't think quietly, but when he was free, all doubts, big and small, came to his mind.

Gorschak said that he sent Miranda's parents to the battlefield, which led to the death of her parents and the relationship between the two fell apart.

Miranda's parents should have died in the battle on Hegoland Island.

In that case, did Principal Dippet and the members of the Violet Society all lose to Grindelwald? It's really not a decent record...

Turning over and patting the pillow into a comfortable shape, Hoffa felt something weird. If that was the case, it stands to reason that the relationship between Miranda and his grandfather would not break so far. As she herself said, one-third of the students in this school have relatives who died in the war. As grandparents who depend on each other, shouldn't they understand each other a little bit?

Or, what did Gorsak hide from himself

......

......

After a make-up lesson was over, Gosak did not intend to continue to make up lessons for Hoffa. He didn't even have more communication with Hoffa, but became even more alienated from him.

Speaking of it, it is already very difficult for Hoffa to force this extremely stern Professor Gorschak to give in and set himself a small stove in private.

To master Grindelwald's transformation art, it is not allowed to ask Dumbledore.

Hoffa has a deeper understanding of the pride of these Ravenclaws. Obviously there is a person who knows Grindelwald well by his side, but Gorshak is not very cold with Dumbledore, but is quite alienated.

I can’t learn the Transfiguration Curse, and it’s not easy to ask Dumbledore. Hoffa naturally read his transfiguration cheat "Anatomy of Everything. Structure is King". He hopes to get some guidance from this book by Morgen Le Fay.

However, Morgen said so in the book.

[Trying to use magic to change foreign objects is low-level, boring, stupid, and pointless. A true transformation master should try to change himself, once he changes, everything will change with it]

Hoffa doesn't know Morgen, but this guy has too many personal subjective remarks in the book.

Grindelwald has already used Transfiguration to shatter the island. Is that kind of change also low-level in Morgen's eyes?
