Harry Potter: The Age of Magic

Chapter 115: The Punishment Organ

Chapter 115 Punishment Agency

At four o'clock in the afternoon, Rossi and his wife finally escorted the prisoner to the prison van bound for Azkaban.

The compartment of the prison car is made of pure steel. There are no windows on both sides. There is only a narrow transom on the iron door directly in front to ensure the air circulation in the compartment.

After pushing the struggling prisoner into the carriage, Rossi and the two sat down in the front room of the prison van.

The Thestrals who were waiting to pull the cart carried them into the sky and broke through the clouds. Melody, who was leaning on the prison cart, said in a slightly lazy voice:

"Actually, escort tasks are generally not difficult. It's just that if you escort them to Azkaban, you need to deal with those dementors, so the overall process will be more complicated than other tasks."

"But now that the prisoner has been loaded into the car, basically no accidents will happen."

Melody said and even yawned.

"Yes, I took note of it."

Rossi nodded in agreement, but looked at the system map on the Floo network.

Azkaban, this is a place that current players have not yet explored.

On the map of gray fog, a line that was still spreading rapidly to the north quickly became clear.

Obviously, this is the trace of her flight.

"These are new continents that current players have never set foot on."

After enlarging the map and comparing it with the strategy maps shared by other players in the folder for a long time, Rossi finally came to the above conclusion.

The prison van was running very fast, and half an hour later, Rossi saw a sea area in front of him.

"Azkaban is in the middle of that sea."

Melody pointed to the blue sea in the north, and her tone became more relaxed as she spoke.

Hearing this, Rossi couldn't help but sit up straight, sighed and said:

“It’s finally almost here!”

"This task is indeed not difficult, but it takes too much time to do."

Just as I was muttering to myself, I felt my body tilting backwards involuntarily.

The next second, they and the car crashed into a cloud and fog that made them invisible.

"Where did the fog come from?"

Just as this question flashed through Rosie's mind, Melody on the side raised her voice and warned: "Be careful, someone is hijacking the prison car!"

As she spoke, she took out her wand and waved it forward.

"The cloud curse is withdrawn!"

As her voice fell, the fog surrounding them quickly dispersed in both directions like a tide.

However, although the fog dissipated, the Thestrals pulling the cart seemed to be frightened, spinning and running towards the ground while pulling the prison cart.

Seeing the accident, Rossi grabbed the handle of the car tightly with his left hand, quickly pulled out the wand from the wand bag with his right hand, pointed at the prison car under him and chanted:

"Wingardim Leviosa!"

Due to the Thestral's strong running ability, the Level 2 levitation spell does not have much effect.

"Recover quickly!"

Seeing this, Melody immediately threw a revival spell at the invisible Thestral.

After the altitude dropped another few tens of meters, the Thestrals in front finally broke away from the frightened state and began to gradually return to stability.

"Bang! Bang bang bang!"

At this moment, Rossi suddenly heard several gunshots coming from directly below.

Immediately afterwards, four anchor hooks connected to ropes roared out and accurately hooked onto the wheels of the prison van.

"It's the hook launcher!"

Realizing that the ascending carriage suddenly stopped, Rossi reminded Melody, grabbed the handle and turned sideways to look down.

I saw many people in uniform standing on the ground, holding guns in their hands and aiming at the two of them.

The four men in the middle, who looked obviously bigger than the others, were holding on to the ropes tightly, pulling Rosie's carriage down bit by bit.

"Someone from the disciplinary agency?"

Seeing the clothes they were wearing, Rosie suddenly had many doubts in her heart.

"Ladies, we have no intention of antagonizing the Ministry of Magic."

Seeing Rossi pointing the wand downward, the leader of the disciplinary agency put the wand to his throat and said in a loud voice,

"Can you come down and talk?"

Hearing this, Melody sneered with disdain on her face, then pulled the reins hard, trying to control the Thestral to prevent the carriage from being pulled down by them, and at the same time, she shouted with a louder voice.

"Attacked the Ministry of Magic's escort vehicle. Could it be that while your disciplinary agency sent people to talk to Minister Taft, you were ready to declare war on the Ministry of Magic?"

"No, no, no, we do this to promote friendly relations between wizards and ordinary people."

The leader said in a calm voice, "You should know that the dark wizard in your prison car killed an ordinary person in Brantania."

"In this case, he cannot be tried only by the Ministry of Magic and only by the Wizengamot. He must also go through the court of our disciplinary agency. Otherwise, how can we be sure that he is the real criminal?"

"As a wizard, are you doubting the fairness of the Wizengamot? This is simply ridiculous! Are you worthy of your own blood?"

Melody said righteously, "Since ancient times, wizards have been arrested and tried for crimes committed by the Ministry of Magic. How many years has your disciplinary agency been established?"

"It has always been right since ancient times, right?"

The leader continued, "Times have changed, and we wizards should adapt to the times and accept changes. Only in this way can our descendants truly integrate into the crowd and into the world."

"Instead of living like a rat on the street under the constraints of the International Confederation of Wizards' Statute of Secrecy like before!"

"snort!"

Melody snorted coldly and said disdainfully: "I thought you could say something lofty, but it turns out you are just a remnant of the Saints organization who survived!"

"you!"

The leader's face suddenly turned gloomy after being poked in the foot by Melody, "Again, get out of the car and hand someone over, otherwise don't blame us for being rude!"

As his words fell, several wizards on the ground wearing disciplinary uniforms raised their wands, and the Muggles next to them also raised their standard muskets, with the intention of starting a fight if they disagreed.

Seeing this, Rossi, who originally planned to just paddle behind Melody and do the task, said loudly:

"Are you really sure you want to go to war? If you have a need to investigate this prisoner, why don't you follow the normal process and have the disciplinary agency submit a formal letter to the Ministry of Magic before taking him away?"

After a pause, Rossi said again: "Or are you simply acting without permission from above and are just acting on your own?"

Hearing this, the Muggles holding guns below looked at each other and began to speculate on the question raised by Rossi. But even so, they still held the muzzles of their guns steadily without moving at all.

"Hmph, the official documents will naturally be sent to the Ministry of Magic later, but if you send him to Azkaban and live under the influence of those dementors for a few days, who can guarantee that his spirit will not be affected by it?

And what about collapse?"

The leader finished speaking rationally, then waited for a moment and said loudly, "I will only count three times. I hope you can understand some current affairs!"

"three!"

Rosie took out a rubber band from the inventory with her right hand holding the wand, gathered her brown hair that was flying in the wind behind her back, and tied it into a ponytail casually.

"two!"

Ready for battle, she looked at Melody with piercing eyes:

"Do you want to do it?"

Seeing Melody nodding, Rossi didn't wait for the person below to call out the final number. He turned his body and pointed the wand below at the hook rope that tied the carriage.
