Chapter 28 Women Rely On Bags, Men Rely On Cars
As she followed Snape into his office, Zheng Fan was a little speechless when she realized that she actually felt a sense of familiarity with this dark and cold room. She had been here so many times in the past month that she was starting to hallucinate.
“ Zheng Fan。”
Snape strode to his desk and sat down, facing Zheng Fan. "I'm warning you, don't kill any of the students in our academy."
"What?" Zheng Fan was stunned and looked at Snape, completely speechless.
What was going on?
Since when did he want to kill someone?
Snape looked serious. "I don't care how powerful a wizard assassin you are or how many people you've killed. If you kill another student, I'll make sure you regret it."
"Snape, did you take the wrong medicine? Since when did I want to kill someone?
Also, do you have to accuse me of being a wizard assassin?
Have you ever seen a Grade 1 wizard assassin? "Zheng Fan gave Snape the middle finger.
"I'm not accusing you, it's the truth. No matter how you look at it, you're still a ghost assassin. You're definitely involved in the deaths of the three elite wizards that the underground organization has put a bounty on."
"I really want to sue you for slander right now." Zheng Fan clicked his tongue.
"Then you'll be thrown into Azkaban for murder. I'm looking forward to that day." Snape sneered.
After that, he took out a few bottles of red liquid. "I told you before, two-headed lizard blood. It's up to you now."
"Where's my potion workbench?"
"I'll lend you my potion workshop's workbench number three."
Snape looked very conflicted when he said this, as if lending his workbench to Zheng Fan was something disgusting. Zheng Fan couldn't be bothered with him. After all, she had already gotten what she needed, so the process wasn't important.
After dealing with the herbs that Snape needed, Zheng Fan returned to Slytherin's common room. It was already quite late, so there weren't many people in the room.
Jamie, who had wanted to attack Zheng Fan earlier, was no longer in the common lounge. She wasn't sure if he had been frightened by Zheng Fan's ability to cast spells without a staff, or if he had been warned by Snape. Either way, it was better to have less trouble.
Zheng Fan had always thought that he came to Hogwarts to study hard and improve himself, unlike those bad students.
If Snape knew what he was thinking, he would probably be so angry that he would vomit blood.
After returning to his dorm, Zheng Fan sat on his bed and tidied up his portal bag. He had gotten quite a lot of good stuff during his month as a wizard assassin. Some of them were thrown into his portal bag and he didn't check them properly. Now, he finally had some free time.
First, he found some useless curses. Zheng Fan glanced at them and saw if they were useful. then sold them all to the system.
Then there were some equipment. Wizards didn't really care much about equipment. Only some holy items like Griffindor's Sword were considered treasures, so Zheng Fan wasn't really interested in collecting them. Most of them were sold by Baiers, and only a few of the more interesting ones were kept in his portal bag.
For example, the pistol.
Zheng Fan took out a small black killing machine from the bag. This thing didn't appear in the original novel, but Zheng Fan knew that it was quite powerful. It could kill an unprepared wizard with a single shot. It would be great as a support weapon. Unfortunately, he already had the white wand, so the value of the gun was greatly reduced.
Other than that, there were some speculators (a warning tool that could predict a wizard's danger in advance), some amulets (a tool that could automatically activate a protective armor spell when under attack), and some other things that had been modified by spells. Zheng Fan categorized them and planned to use them when he had time and sell them when he needed to.
Lastly, there were some things that he didn't even know what they were for. He kept them after he killed someone, but he didn't know how to use them. Occasionally, the system would bid to buy them, so Zheng Fan just sold them casually.
He took out a black stone. It was the third advanced wizard he killed, Ivan Brewer. He glanced at it with his eagle eye, but couldn't figure out what it was, so he just put it away.
"System, do you want this?" he asked casually.
"Yes, it can be recycled. The recycling price is 300 points."
"300?!" Zheng Fan was stunned. This price was a little unexpected!
Usually, when the system "collected junk," it would give a very low price. It was usually only one or two digits, and there were only a few that could exceed 100 points. But now, this stupid stone was selling for 300 points?
Could it be a Sorcerer's Stone?
Well, that was impossible. If it was a Sorcerer's Stone, it wouldn't be sold for 300 points. Even 3,000 points would be too little.
Realizing that this stone might be useful, Zheng Fan decided not to sell it for now. When he had time, he would ask Snape to help him identify what it was.
After doing all this, Zheng Fan looked at his remaining points. He was only a little bit away from 4,000 points. Soon, he would be able to exchange for a Split Attack Module. Then, he would be the king of all battles!
Just then, he suddenly noticed that there was a package in the portal bag.
The package was very long. It seemed to be the spoils of war he found when he killed a wizard who was used to stealing. He left in a hurry and didn't have time to look inside. Later, he got busy and forgot about it. No wonder he only found it now.
Zheng Fan used his eagle eye to look inside the bag. He couldn't help but exclaim softly.
Inside the bag was a broom, a very long broom.
It was obvious that this was a flying broom, but it wasn't a model that Zheng Fan knew of. He had casually flipped through a book about flying brooms. The contents of the book were all stored in his memory module, but he definitely hadn't seen this one before!
After searching through the memory storage module, Zheng Fan suddenly realized what was going on.
"So that's how it is. The person who asked me to kill this thief is the director of the engineering department of Luminous Wheel Corporation, the company that developed the new flying broom. No wonder that person had an unreleased broom on him. Luminous Wheel Corporation wants to silence him. Tsk tsk. These black-hearted businessmen are really ruthless."
He slowly opened the package and switched his eagle eye to night vision mode.
The broom's slender, streamlined design immediately entered Zheng Fan's eyes. The broom handle was well maintained. The brown wood was perfectly coated. No matter what angle he looked at it from, he couldn't find a single flaw.
Zheng Fan, who didn't have much interest in flying, couldn't help but feel a slight desire to fly when he saw this broom.
