Harry Potter’s Morning Light

Chapter 2819: The Runaway Wolf (2)

Chapter 2819 The Runaway Wolf (2)

Horned beast powder is an active ingredient in many very insightful medicines, such as love potion and Cruciatus, it can strengthen the nerves, increase endurance, and "wake up" from obsession and pain...

I woke up from only a few minutes of sleep. Since I came to this mysterious and weird place, my fear once made me afraid. Every time I saw the luggage left by my colleagues, it was even more difficult for me to fall asleep.

"My young friend, let me give you a piece of advice," said Dr. Self, lightly. "As soon as you feel drowsy, or want to go to bed, you hurry back to your room. Only then can you sleep well." Practical."

I felt dazed, but then Dr. Self reached out his hand to me, and I subconsciously grabbed it, and then I was pulled by him to stand up.

Van Helsing tore off the bed sheet in the bedroom of the abandoned villa, and covered it on a full-length mirror. I looked out the window, and the sailboat sailing in the fog with a big hole in its hull was gone.

"Come here tonight," said Van Helsing.

Neither Dr. Self nor I objected. Van Helsing lifted the box in his hand, which contained the dust found in the box on the ship. He opened it and inspected it before, and it did not disappear with the ship.

I hope I haven't become nervous and easily startled, I'm not ashamed to say it now, I'm just worried about delaying everyone's progress.

After a few minutes of silence, Van Helsing and Dr. Self talked about their previous experience on the ship.

"This is normal. Some undead don't know that they are dead. On Halloween, we will light a bonfire for them so that they can go home." Doctor Self said calmly, "We will leave them at the dining table. Seat, when I was young, I sat in the seat reserved for them once, but was driven away by my mother."

"Are there any 'sequelae'?" asked Van Helsing.

“For a while, I often dreamed of an old man. He often held a cane and said that he would teach me how to be polite. After a while, he disappeared.”

I fumbled in my pocket for a cigarette and a flint and steel, and Van Helsing took it, but Dr. Self refused, so Van Helsing and I walked off smoking.

At this time, the fog had cleared, revealing the bright moon in the sky. I think this is the most beautiful moonlight I have ever seen in my life.

"They're playing tricks," Snape said. "We're going to find out what they're hiding."

"You mean, like searching their dorms?" Pomona asked.

He stared at her as if to say "yes" silently.

Barnaby was surprised to see Cecil. He probably didn't expect Cecil to come to school to spend Christmas with him today.

"A beautiful scarf." Cecil praised, "Is this a gift from Miss Turt?"

Barnaby didn't reply, and the scene was awkward for a while, but fortunately, lunch "appeared" at this time, and the other children who stayed in school began to eat.

Searching around Pomona, there was no Jonathan Chavez, the Hufflepuff third-grade boy whose parents had died and whose home had been burned.

Even though the Death Eaters were doomed at the time, they couldn't stop some people from their final madness, and they set fire to a Muggle building with the Chavez family inside. It was reported in the Muggle newspapers as a miracle that he escaped unharmed in the bathroom, and that was the day he awoke.

Pomona decided to get him back, put down her napkin, and left the table.

Australian "food therapy" may work for some people, but food is not a panacea for all injuries.

She found him by the Black Lake.

While eating a sandwich, he fed the giant squid in the water with bread.

   "Chavez," Pomona called.

Chavez looked back. He was nothing remarkable, with brown hair, brown eyes, and freckles on his face.

She didn't ask him why he didn't go back to the Great Hall and sit by the warm fire to eat a big meal, and he was always out of sight as long as Barnaby was around.

"Be careful not to fall into the lake," Pomona yelled.

"Don't worry, I won't!" Chavez waved cheerfully toward Pomona.

"I've been looking for you for a long time, why don't you say hello!"

Knowing she would not go so easily, Chavez stood up, patted the snow off his robe, and walked with Pomona.

Said they were together, but in fact there was still a distance, and Chavez seemed to be following her.

They didn't say a word on the way, and after returning to the castle, Chavez went straight back to the lounge.

Pomona thought of Phoebe, who, like Chavez, seemed to have fallen from the sun into the dark.

She moved away from the door of the lounge, and although Severus asked her to search the dormitory, she was not as curious as he was, especially when no one else was around. If Leeds and Barnaby chose to hide, there must be their reasons.

As soon as she returned to the office, there was a knock on the door of the office.

   "Come in," said Pomona.

It wasn't a student who came in, but Cecil, with a very serious expression on his face.

"Have you talked to your nephew?" Pomona asked.

"Yes." Cecil sat down on the chair opposite her. "I'm so sorry, Professor, this is a family problem."

  Pomona smiled understandingly.

"There's a doll," Cecil went on. "It's broken, but my brother bought it and kept it at home."

"I heard about your family's 'hobby'." Pomona smiled dryly.

"He collected that doll because it is said to be of collectible value. The doll is an antique, an 18th-century French puppet." Cecil said.

Pomona felt a little restless, "What's wrong with that doll?"

"He brought it to school." Cecil sighed. "He seems to have a friend named Ben?"

  Pomona nods.

"They fixed the doll, which told them there was a secret passage under the abandoned castle of Irondale," Cecil said.

Pomona was not surprised, she knew that it would not be a coincidence that Barnaby and Liz found that place.

"What did you find?" Cecil asked.

She wondered if she should tell Cecil.

"You can go to Rudy, they're going to search there," Pomona said.

"I'll go." Cecil said "Thank you."

"Thank you for coming today, I know you are very busy." Pomona looked at Cecil's haggard look, he obviously hadn't slept well for a while.

"No, thank you anyway." Cecil said, "Although it was short, I still had a good time this Christmas."

After speaking, he stood up and left the Pomona office.

Waiting for him to leave, Pomona immediately took out the double-sided mirror.

"Severus!" she said to the mirror.

It took a while before Snape's face appeared in the mirror, and music could be heard in the background.

"What?"

"They hid a doll!" Pomona trembled nervously.

   "So?" he asked back.

"Have you heard of that famous doll from the '70s?" Pomona asked.

"You mean Barbie?" he said jokingly.

"No, it's Annabelle!" she almost screamed "It's at Hogwarts now!"

"Relax, I'll be right back," he whispered.

She knew he was partying and becoming Draco Malfoy's godfather.

"Come back early." She said a little fragile.

"I will," he said, and the mirror went dark except for the sound of music.

Because Albus liked to listen to chamber music, Pomona recognized that the piece being played at the moment was a minuet, which was suitable for court dancing in the 18th century, but people only regarded it as elegant background music in the 20th century.

The song kept ringing in her ears, like a lingering dream.
