  Chapter 2995 "The World of Nutshell"

   "I just want to learn," said Pomona dryly. "I don't want to learn Trollspeak like old Barty."

  Severus laughed again.

   This time he didn't smile like the student in the Slytherin robes.

   "This is you, standing among the great men and despising the humble cowards."

  She felt upset, he made her look like a haughty person.

   "Eat," Pomona ordered, but Severus smiled in a way that would scare a lot of people.

   "The Philosopher's Stone," he said slowly. "You never wanted to study it?"

   "Are you going to say own it next?" Pomona asked.

  He didn't speak.

   "The pursuit of the Philosopher's Stone brings a curse, though it is the purest of all." Pomona said softly, "I thought you knew."

   "It's just a superstition." He said contemptuously.
