Harry Potter’s Morning Light

Chapter 3057: adamas(ten)

Chapter 3057 adamas (10)

“Remember not to tell my mother about butterbeer.”

Before coming to Lily's house, she had reminded Pomona.

After arriving at Lily's house, Pomona found that there was not a drop of wine in Evans' house, and the refrigerator was filled with Coke. If Mr. Evans wanted to drink cold beer, he had to go outside to drink it. He often drank and chatted with a gentleman next door by the fish pond he dug.

Mr. Evans really wanted to have a boy, mainly because he thought he and the boy would have common interests, such as father and son hiking and fishing together.

He welcomed Snape quite well, even though he was a well-known weird kid, and after watching Muggle horror movies, Pomona felt that he was born with that gloomy temperament, and he didn't even need makeup.

Of course he cannot accompany Mr. Evans to go fishing, but he will help Mr. Evans clean the fish pond, and Mr. Evans will invite him into his house to drink Coke.

Mr Evans is not a local, or rather did not grow up, in Cokeworth, where the water company sent him to test the water.

For this reason, he knew a lot of clean rivers that the locals didn't know about. He drove Pomona and Lily to a place that he thought was great, and there were even swans there.

“Don’t feed them bread,” Mr. Evans told them after seeing them tear up the bread and throw it to the swans. “It’s not good for their stomachs.”

The swan wanted to eat the bread, but Pomona obediently stopped scattering the crumbs, and Lily took out the chocolate frog pictures she had arranged.

No little wizard can refuse a chocolate frog, even if it is not for the chocolate, it will be for the collection of pictures. These pictures were collected by Lily in the past few years.

Lily is holding a chocolate frog picture of Albus Dumbledore, but he is not there, only his introduction is left.

"Grindelwald is a dark wizard, right?" Lily asked Pomona. "So Dumbledore is a 'white wizard'."

Pomona doesn't like this drama of light triumphing over darkness, but she can't deny this fact.

“I read in the history of magic that they were still friends.” Lily then looked at the picture and said.

“When they were young,” Pomona answered.

“How could Dumbledore be friends with bad people?” Lily asked.

Pomona is also unable to say that Grindelwald is “not a bad person.”

“They want to reshape the world,” Pomona said.

“What?” Lily asked confused and surprised.

"Wherever there is light, there is darkness, Lily. Everything exists relative." Pomona stared at red-haired Lily's green eyes and said, "Big needs small to set off."

Lily scoffed.

“Just like James Potter, he needs others to set off his greatness.”

Pomona didn't mean that, but she turned her gaze to the water and saw a black swan mixed in with the white swans.

“I thought I saw Severus,” said Pomona.

‘He went to Slughorn’s for the summer?’ said Lily.

That's why Pomona found that scene terrifying.

“Where did you see him?” Lily asked.

“Right outside your house,” Pomona said.

“Why didn’t I see it?” Lily asked.

There are too many things you haven’t seen.

Pomona thought to himself and looked at the black swan again.

"Everyone says Slytherin is evil. Do you think Severus is evil?" Pomona asked.

Lily was silent, as if she was lost in thought.

Mrs. Evans actually also has a favorite fashion style. She likes to see Chanel designs in magazines.

But Chanel used a lot of black, which looked a bit heavy, perhaps because Chanel was influenced by the nuns in the orphanage where she grew up.

This lifeless city didn’t need any more dullness, so Mrs. Evans chose floral florals, and whether she wore them or her daughters wore them, she sewed them all herself.

She would attract people's attention when she walked down the street, but she never cared.

Pomona looked across the river at the lawn in full bloom. The wild flowers looked very similar to the flowers on her clothes.

“There are also good things about dark wizards?” Lily asked.

“I don’t want to mislead you, you’d better investigate on your own.” Pomona said, “Especially now that the mysterious person...”

“Lily!” Mr. Evans suddenly shouted, “Let’s play for another 10 minutes!”

"Okay!" Lily said briskly, then shook the crumbs off her body and stood up.

“Let’s pick some flowers and bring them back. Mom will like them.” Lily said.

 Pomona also stood up.

She heard that the Malfoy manor was full of roses, but not every woman liked to decorate their home with roses.

Little daisies are actually very beautiful.

 ————————————————————-

Mrs. Evans has always wanted to go to France. Once she was surprised to find that there was a time difference between France and the United Kingdom, although the time difference was only one hour.

This is not surprising in the first place. There are time differences between many countries. What is surprising is that she does not seem to know about it.

When it’s five o’clock in the UK and six o’clock in France, people are used to that because the time zones are divided like that.

People will not argue about this, at least not like some people who formed the Anti-Dark Magic Alliance and felt that all dark wizards should be arrested and live next to dementors in Azkaban instead of becoming their own neighbors.

The British Five Points and the French Six Points exist "simultaneously", while Dark Wizards and the Dark Magic Alliance are in opposition to each other and exclude their existence. Lily finally felt that Dark Magic was not a good thing, and even Severus was confused because of his relationship with the Death Eaters. He gets so close that he becomes the object of her rejection unless he can "reform his evil ways."

There are many ways to guide. Some people will guide lost people to the right path, while others will point them to a random path, even if it is the wrong path.

Grindelwald’s speech in the Paris Catacombs, his “truth” is different from saying to the Nazis “I don’t know where the partisans are”.

The future is very uncertain, and people need the guidance of prophets.

If ordinary people can choose other moral principles and do not abide by "honesty" as the highest moral principle, then "thou shalt not lie" is the highest moral principle of the prophet.

Who would believe a lying prophet?

When the cheating party promises not to see the third party, but breaks the promise again and again. Love can make people tolerant, but at the same time, love will be exhausted. It is better to break up before the love disappears, so that when you think of the other person, you will not only have disgust and the shortcomings of the other person.

This is why Pomona feels that first love lovers are likely to rekindle their old love. When they grow up, they understand how easily they broke up when they were young, and when they think of each other's good fortune, it seems that everything can start again.

After all, times have changed, and people will change to some extent.

There was some brandy in Pomona's office, which she added to black tea, not for its taste, but because drinking it would keep the body warm in the winter.

Severus did not choose it. He took two glasses, filled one of them with water from a spring, and drank it all in one gulp.

He talked to Stringer a little too long, making his mouth dry, which Pomona understood.

It is not polite to stay in a lady's room so late, but she is not so stingy that she will not provide him with a place to drink water if he wants to.

She wanted him to leave, but she didn't know how to say it. She could only watch him drink one glass after another.

“You know why ghosts gather in the pumpkin patch?” he said after drinking a few glasses of water.

 “I don’t know,” said Pomona.

"It's so noisy here, let alone Hagrid's residence so close." Severus said grimly, "He's not there."

“He is a forest guard, probably on patrol.” Pomona said.

 He smiled.

“Why are you laughing?” Pomona frowned.

“I suggested that he get the animal back and put it in his yard so that no one has an excuse to keep looking around for it,” he said nonchalantly.

She didn't like his attitude, but he didn't seem to care what she thought.

"I want your answer, and don't think it's the same this time as before." He glared at her, as if threatening her.

Olde said that there are two kinds of tragedies in the world, one is not getting what he wants, the other is he gets it.

But he also said something, a dreamer only finds his way under the moonlight, and his punishment is to be the first to see the dawn.

She felt it was time to wake up.

"Dumbledore told me to give you a chance." She said calmly, "I think you deserve it."

 He kept looking at her.

"It's late Severus, I want to sleep," Pomona said.

He stood up, swayed a little, and seemed hesitant.

"If you don't want to go back to the castle, there's plenty of room in the greenhouse," she said softly.

He didn't speak, and Pomona was embarrassed beyond words. Did she understand it wrong? Why doesn't it rain now like in the movie?

She looked up at the sky. The moon was hanging high, and the moonlight was shining down. Although it was not as bright as the full moon, it was enough to illuminate everything on the ground.

"It's only less than 10 o'clock. I don't want to go to bed so early." He said easily, picking up a book on the bookshelf and reading it.

That book was not written by Oscar Wilde, but Pomona recalled something he said.

A person can always be kind to people he doesn't care about.

So she doesn't care at all now.

Then she went back to her room, closed the door with a bang, blocking the outside view, and wanted to change into the pajamas she was wearing.

What was she thinking at the time? She actually made clothes out of spider silk. Wasn't this "creating a cocoon"?
