Chapter 3139 Knight and Horse Mane

"It's good for all of us." Severus repeated what he just said. "Of course we can't let him retire and have nothing to do. He can't be idle."

 “Don’t you want to be an Auror?” Pomona asked.

"No, when did I say I wanted to be an Auror?" Random asked strangely.

 “Then why are you training so hard?” Pomona asked.

 “To be stronger,” Random said.

 “What else?” Pomona asked reluctantly.

Random was so embarrassed that he scratched his hair.

 “I want to be like Scamander.”

 “What?” Pomona couldn’t help but raise her voice.

"Protect animals, or prevent people from harming them." Random said excitedly, "I don't want to be an Auror, I would rather run 20 miles with a heavy load."

Pomona was going crazy. She didn't expect this kid...

"You're right, kid." Moody's voice sounded from behind the door. "People are much more difficult to deal with than animals."

Random probably didn’t expect Moody to speak for him, but even if Moody helped him, he didn’t appreciate it.

"You are Dumbledore's lobbyist, right?" Moody said coldly, "You want me to be your nanny after I retire?"

“No one said that, Alastor,” Pomona whispered. “This kid needs training.”

"Go back, before I drive you away." Moody said coldly.

Pomona waited for a while, then turned and left the courtyard.

 She glared at Random after the door closed.

“Have you finished your summer homework?” Pomona said cruelly to Random.

 “Can I trade? I’d rather run 50 miles.” Random said in a bargaining manner.

 Pomona smiled sweetly.

"No."

Hearing her answer, Random let out a wail.

 “Go back to your summer homework, young sir.” Pomona said, apparating away with Random in tow.
