'Damn it! Your previous teachers were also bloodthirsty killers!!'

Lucius had always wondered how a relatively normal person could walk away from the hands of the Bloody Hand mostly unscathed.

He stands corrected. This woman wasn't normal, she was a complete sadist!

As Lucius had those thoughts, the shadows around Serena began to bubble again in a familiar fashion.

All of a sudden countless small balls of shadow began to hover up from the ground surrounding her making the entire training hall look more like a scene from the underworld

"Gulp!"

[Master of Shadows] (Golden)

The line of her skills popped up into Lucius's mind again reminding him just how monstrous golden talents can be, especially ones involving elemental manipulation.

Snap!

Serena clicked her fingers together and the balls of shadow began to whizz around.

Lucius's eyes glowed with a deep crimson light as he reached the shadows that were approaching him at the fastest speed.

Suddenly his legs slammed into the ground as his body ducked past two giant balls of shadows that were flying in his direction!

Bang! Bang!

Lucius ignored the explosions behind him and just continued to stay in the move but not long before balls of shadows suddenly appeared in his left and right once again.

Lucius wanted to curse but before he could he was forced to twist his Body at near inhuman angles as he dived the countless orbs of darkness headed his way.

But right as he opened his eyes Lucius looked forward to see himself nose distance away from a giant orb of darkness!

At that point, Lucius did the only thing he could do and leapt up into the air!

But that was his greatest mistake.

Up in the air, Lucius exposed himself to another angle now within the blink of an eye Lucius was surrounded by orbs of darkness from all directions.

Within seconds, Lucius's heart sank.

'I'm fucked!!'

Lucius could just curl into a fetal position and cover himself in mana and berserk energy as countless orbs of darkness pelted into his body.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Lucius' battered body crashed hard into the ground.

Lucius could only groan helplessly as he struggled to open his eyes and stand back to his feet.

It was at that moment that Serena, who had been walking over to Lucius at that time, paused and looked at Lucius wide eyed.

"You're still awake? I thought you would at least be knocked out?"

Lucius didn't know what to say and just stared at this lady wide-eyed with his battered and bruised body.

"It's tradition that the first time you get caught you should at least get knocked out to let the fear of getting hit sink into your body, but I guess I underestimated your durability."

As Serena said this she suddenly felt horrible.

'If even this force wasn't enough to knock him out, just how hard did I hit him back then? Maybe…Maybe I was really trying to kill him..'

As Serena once again lamented at her lack of control.

Traditionally if the student was knocked out you would have to go again till they were.

But after realising just how hard she had hit him Previously, the soft hearted Serena really didn't have it in her to go on to hit Lucius any longer. Of course, as a teacher, she couldn't say this out loud and just kept it to herself.

Coldly looking down at Lucius she just shook her head.

"Truthfully your performance wasn't bad, but It was nowhere good enough for your level of arrogance."

As Lucius heard this, his mouth twitched but he couldn't say much, she had got him there.

"For one, the movement of your arms and legs are still stiff, not allowing you to move and dodge at strange angles. But worst of all, the way you dodge is too primitive. You throw all of your strength and power behind each movement without any thought almost like a wild berserker.I don't know how you thought before but off you are going to learn my dagger techniques I will not allow for such wild and bestowal movements." Said Serena, the disdain evident in her voice.

"So now you hear my requirements and see how far you are, are you still up for it."

Hearing this Lucius shook his arm as the same old confident and smug smile appeared on his face.

"As long as you're still willing to teach, I'm still willing to learn."

As Lucius said those words a raw smile appeared on Serena's face before she quickly got herself back into character and returned to her regular cold expression.

"Well since you're still on board I guess I can start truly teaching you some of my techniques." Said Serena

"As I said before your greatest weakness is your reaction time but before we fix that something even more dreadful needs to be fixed, of course that is your brute-like movement"

"I know it's bad but calling it brute-like is a bit…"

Serena just snorted at Lucius' objection and continued speaking.

"To fix that I'll be teaching you something that will be the first symbol of our student teacher relationship, my personal overmen's technique, wraith walk."

Hearing this Lucius's ears perked up and he couldn't help but get a little excited.

Seemingly sensing, Lucius's excitement, Serena spoke up and said

"Let me show you how it goes."

With that Serena slowly began to walk around Lucius but as she walked she slowly started speeding up but then something happened that made Lucius rub his eyes.

All of sudden there wasn't just one Serena walking but several clones were walking around Lucius!

All of sudden, these clones all got up and darted towards Lucius at blinding speeds, each one coming in from a different direction!

Lucius was like a deer stuck in headlights and couldn't even react to someone coming from so many directions.

Fortunately, Serena wasn't an enemy and just tapped him on his back causing him to turn around the shock still evident in his eyes
