Help! I don't want to NTR the protagonist!



"Yesterday we were interrogating the bandit leader. We didn't bring you because those scenes…. They were not something an innocent little girl like you should see."

As Alice heard this, her pretty face balled up into a cute pout.

"You call me a little girl but we're both going to the academy so we're the same age." Said Alice

Hearing this, Lucius just shook his head with a smile.

"It's not simply about age, it's about experience and maturity. That's what it takes for someone to go from a little girl into a green woman."

Hearing this, a light seemed to flash in Alice's eyes

"So then, Lucius do you know what it takes to go from a girl to a woman?" Asked Alice

"I won't say I know everything but I do at least know a little bit."

"Then Lucius, can you make me a woman?"

'Gladly!' Replied Lucius without hesitation.

Looking at Alice's angelic face and yet devilish body, Lucius had to work hard to suppress his earthly desires.

Unfortunately, Lucius could only say this in his heart.

He couldn't just rush the process with these heroines.

After all, Alice wasn't just any only heroine but a true main heroine.

To truly capture the heart of the heroine you had to take things slowly.

She wasn't some bandit that Lucius could coerce and manipulate.

She wasn't some indoctrinated lunatic that was secretly fascinated by Lucius.

Each heroine was a different person and had to be approached differently.

Looking at this way, capturing a heroine wasn't simply a task, it was an art!

Seemingly enlightened, Lucius went back to Alice's question.

"Unfortunately, making you a woman is not something I can just do. A thing like that comes from your own experience." Said Lucius.

"But even so, I'm sure that in the academy you will find the experience you're looking for." Said Lucius with a mysterious glint in his eyes.

Hearing Lucius mention the academy, Alice's child like curiosity was stimulated once again.

"Lucius, do you know a lot about the academy?" Asked Alice

"I don't know a lot, but I do know…."

Like that Lucius spoke and Alice listened as the group resumed their slow but gradual journey towards the capital of the empire…

The carriage drove them for the better part of half a day before they arrived at the capital. It was already a bit past midday as the summer sun was shining high in the sky.

Soon the carriage could see the huge gate of the capital city and the large traffic of various commercial and merchant carriages lining up to get inside.

Unfortunately, they were not students of the academy just yet so they had to wait in line like everyone else.

Alice was a noble but a backwater noble out in the fringe of the empire may not even be as important as some travelling merchants so she had to wait in line like Lucius and the others.

Fortunately, the infrastructure and administration of the empire was highly developed, so it didn't take long before Lucius and the others passed by the large steel gates and truly entered the capital city.

As Lucius and the others passed through the gates, they were instantly left amazed.

For the others, this was the first time they had come to a major city like this one. And this was not just any major city but the capital of the empire, the true heart of human civilisation.

In terms of appearance, maybe only the duchy of Marland, nicknamed the heart of magic, may be able to match it in appearance.

Even Lucius, a man from the modern world, was a little awed after seeing the Capital's novel appearance.

This world wasn't just mediaeval. It was almost a mix of modern magical devices and mediaeval architecture due to the inventions of things like magic engineering.

So whilst the architecture has some hints of typical medical fantasy it was also strangely yet smoothly blended in with some sleek magical and almost modern design novelty.

The roads were clean and wide and all property well maintained and the entire atmosphere and place was bright and vibrant.

As Alice saw this, the innocent girl was quickly amazed and even suggested that they should all go out and explore the city but Lucius shot that thought down without hesitation.

Who was she trying to play?

Lucius didn't forget who she was. She was the main heroine!

They've already deviated from the plot so if they go exploring. Now, with the butterfly effect, who knows what will happen?

Some random plot could end up happening, delaying them and causing them to miss the registration time for the academy.

If his way forward was cut off for such a bullshit reason, Lucius wouldn't even have a place to cry!

So with Alice's disgruntled mumbles, the group carried on and headed straight for Sanctuary.

It didn't take long before they moved away from the central hustle and bustle near the city's main streets to the designated academic district.

Soon the carriage stopped in front of a giant set of golden gates

This was the cradle of humanity!

Although the years of humanity's crisis have long since faded and humanity even shows signs completely dominating the continent, such slogans like 'the hope of humanity' and 'heroes of the world' have never stopped being shouted.

As a result of all this, just graduating from sanctuary was enough to make you succeed in life.

By graduating from The Sanctuary, you could easily parachute your way into a decent position in any one of these major institutions and never have to worry about your livelihood ever again.

It's because of factors like this and the amount of fame and resources that were available for graduates from the sanctuary that necessitated the rigorous entry criteria.

Even now, as the assessments were still going on, Lucius could see countless figures in the white academy uniforms pouring through the golden gates.
