Most villages and low ranking nobles only had the most basic talent checkers that could identify the abilities and names of the talent, but didn't give a clear example of the quality and strength of the talent.

Of course, some talents could even be identified without specific talent checkers

Talents in this world could be divided into different grades based on the colour they emit from talent checkers

From lowest to highest the colours were as followed

White

Green

Blue

Purple

Golden

A golden grade talent was enough for anyone to leave a mark in a generation like sword master and the such whilst white grade talents were just average talents that could be found amongst low rank soldiers and hunters.

As Lucius's hands hovered over the crystal ball, he found that he was a little nervous. He didn't know when, but his breath became a little shallow and his palms became sweaty.

He had used the power of a demon to forge a fake talent, but he was still nervous after all.

It was like trying to fly with a fake passport

No matter how much the broker reassured you the fake was a full proof and nobody would see through it, it was still a fake at the end of the day.

Still, Lucius knew now wasn't the time to hesitate. If it failed, it failed. He had tried his best, and that was he could do

"Ahh.. fuck it!"

As he said this, Lucius placed his hand on the crystal ball .

As Lucius dropped his hand, the crystal ball began to glow.

The group of examiners watched in awe as the crystal ball lit up in various different colours

Green!

Blue!

Purple!

Golden!

But even after reaching the golden colour, the crystal ball didn't stop there!

The crystal began to shake as a dazzling wave of golden light poured out our as stream of golden sparks started to burst out

Seeing this shocking sight, the examiners could stay still and directly jumped out of their seats

Even the lead examiners in the centre had to adjust his glasses to make sure what he was seeing was seeing correctly.

And after blinking a few times and rubbing his eyes he confirmed that what he was seeing was real

This wasn't just any gold grade talent that they were seeing, it was a talent that shows signs of surpassing golden grade. So if cultivated well, it could directly go and reach the level beyond golden.

It was the level that left everyone in awe.

A level directly reserved for the major noble families and the few select chosen.

The grade of talents only those specifically chosen by God could reach.

Knowing this, the examiners couldn't remain calm.

Hell! Even Lucius himself couldn't stay calm.

'What on earth was going on?' thought Lucius

Since he was the wine who designed his fake talents, he knew the standards that he set extremely well.

He just wanted to make a talent that would make himself seem a bit talented and allow for him to join the same class as the main heroines.. he never wanted to do something so dazzling that would draw too much attention
