“I’m sorry, Professor…”

Ron’s face turned as red as his hair when he realized it was the professor he was yelling at.

“It doesn’t matter, I think I can understand your grievance.” Tver’s expression became more serious.

“Your brothers are all outstanding students at Hogwarts. After graduation, their abilities are indeed as outstanding as everyone expected.”

“Even George and Fred, their talent for pranks still shines.”

“Except for Percy, who makes his mother cry every day…” Ron muttered complainingly.

In the eyes of the Weasley family, Percy is now a sad traitor. Mrs. Weasley feels secretly sad when she hears Percy’s name, so the other Weasley children blame Percy.

“But you can’t deny that his ability is indeed excellent.” Tver sighed. After all, this was the path Percy chose, and there was nothing he could do to stop it.

“Therefore, you obviously receive far less attention than they do, but the expectations and pressure you bear are no less than them.”

“Not only that, but your two best friends, Harry and Hermione, are doing far better at school than you are!”

“All the love and attention in the family has been given to your brother and sister, and all the opportunities to shine in the school have been taken away by Harry and Hermione…”

Having said this, Tver immediately straightened his face and stared at Ron with very aggressive eyes until he forced his head to hang down deeply.

“For this reason, you always feel unbalanced in your heart and you are jealous of them. Am I right, Ron?!”

Tver suddenly raised his voice and asked sharp questions at the end, which shocked Ron so much that he couldn’t help but tremble.

He clenched his hands into fists and tightly covered his knees. He lowered his head and gritted his teeth in silence. He didn’t know why the professor said this.

I don’t even know why the professor wanted to expose him!

“Why, it turns out that you are so bad that you don’t even dare to admit it in your own heart?”

Tweel increased his intensity and imitated Snape’s tone – it obviously sounded cold, but paired with mean words, it had a very strong ironic effect.

To be honest, this kind of condescending sarcasm is quite satisfying…

Ron’s tender palms were stung deeply by his nails, but this pain was far less than the torment in his heart.

“What are you hesitating about? I heard that you performed extremely poorly in the last Quidditch match against Slytherin, or that you didn’t even dare to fail…”

“No!” Ron suddenly broke out in silence, lowering his head and shouting with a cry.

“I really envy Bill and the others for getting twelve N.E.W.T. certificates, envy Harry for performing so well in Quidditch, and even more envy for Hermione for always getting such good results…”

“But I’ve never been jealous of them!”

“I just want to perform well like them. I just want everyone to see…I also work very hard…”

“That’s right.” A smile finally appeared on Tver’s face. After thinking about it, he added some added pumpkin juice to Ron’s cup.

“To be precise, you should let everyone see how good you are.”

Ron raised his head in disbelief, his red eyes filled with surprise. He sniffed and asked hesitantly: “My…excellent?”

“Of course, from my perspective, you have always been an excellent student.” Tver said sincerely.

“In first grade, you can pass the chess game carefully arranged by Professor McGonagall. To be honest, even the mysterious man and I spent a whole year figuring out that thing;”

“In second grade, when faced with the attack of the basilisk that might come back again, you still firmly guarded Hermione and Snape until I came back;”

“Only Hermione, I don’t care about Snape…” Ron emphasized in a low voice with some pride, but apparently forgot that he was the one who moved Snape’s petrified body behind him.

“In the third grade, he bravely faced Sirius, who was suspected of being a murderer at the time, and even boldly attacked the professor;”

“Uh… I remember we didn’t tell you about Snape…”

“In fourth grade, even though I had a grudge against Draco, I still worked with Harry to rescue him from the bottom of the lake.”

“Actually, I didn’t know it was Malfoy at the time.”

Ron’s face was still flushed with excitement, but he couldn’t help but smile. He even felt that the pumpkin juice in the cup tasted much better.

This was the second time that he had been praised like this by a respected professor. The last time was four years ago, when Dumbledore lightly praised him for playing wizard chess well.

Tver was not surprised by his performance.

Actually Ron

What is lacking is just recognition from others. As a role that has always been ignored in a family or even a small team, not everyone is willing to remain unknown.

Especially when the effort put in is no less than others.

“Did you see that, Ron?” He once again put on a relaxed, even appreciative expression, giving Ron greater confidence.

“Your performance has never been worse than anyone else’s, but they don’t know it, and even you haven’t discovered it yet.”

“But,” thinking of his outstanding brothers, Ron felt a little disappointed, “Mom always wanted me to get good grades like Bill…”

“You are you, not someone else’s substitute.” Tver said firmly.

“Good grades are never the only criterion for measuring a person’s ability. George and Fred’s grades are not very good. They can even be said to be very poor. So bad that I don’t expect them to get any useful N.E.W.T. certificates. But can you deny their capabilities?”

Ron shook his head silently when he thought of the Weasley twins who were now flourishing in the school after receiving support from Turville and his booming business.

“Your grades are no worse than theirs, but there is only one thing missing…” Tver raised a finger and paused, “Find your own path.”

“This is a question that requires you to think about it for a long time, and there may be many mistakes that you need to go through.”

“But no matter what, whether you accept your parents’ request or follow yourself, I hope you give yourself an answer after thinking about it yourself.”

Ron pursed his lips and thought for a while.

“I’ve thought about it!”

“Uh…I told you you have a lot of time…”

“No, Professor, I am very determined now, more determined than ever before!”

“Harry wants to defeat You-Know-Who…well, Voldemort!” he said bravely.

“Hermione wants to protect more vulnerable groups in the wizarding world, Mum wants everyone in the family to be well, George and Fred want to expand their prank business…”

“And I want to see them realize their wishes more easily because of my help. It’s that simple.”

Ron grinned happily after finding his heart’s desire.

“I know that I am actually far from as good as you say, and I am not as good as others.”

“But it doesn’t matter, I, Ron Weasley, am the best mate in the wizarding world!”

Tver glanced at the pumpkin juice bottle in his hand strangely. He was very sure that what he added was just a little euphoria, not a hallucinogen.
