Hogwarts, a Scholar Becomes a God

Chapter 4 Conversation on the Train

Early the next morning, Clark got up and dressed, then woke Harry up and prepared to go downstairs to have breakfast together.

Harry got up and got dressed, while coaxing the restless Hedwig back into her cage, when Ron suddenly burst into their room.

He was trying to pull a long-sleeved shirt over his head, an annoyed look on his face.

"I just wish I could get on the train," he said angrily. "At least at Hogwarts I can get away from Percy, who is now scolding me for dripping tea on his picture of Penello."

"You know," Ron grimaced, "that's his girlfriend..."

"I have something to tell you..." Before Harry could finish his sentence, he was interrupted by Fred and George, who came in to congratulate Ron for once again irritating Percy.

But Clark frowned. He suddenly discovered that Percy had changed a lot after becoming the president of the student union, and his relationship with his brothers had become more and more distant.

Sure enough, a position of power is a poison that can make people arrogant and lose their ability to judge.

Clark followed Harry and the others downstairs. At the same time, he was still secretly alert, reflecting on himself and seeing what he had failed to do recently.

The four of them came downstairs. Mr. Weasley was already sitting at the table and reading the front page of the Daily Prophet. He was frowning and lost his mind. He even forgot to eat the scrambled eggs he raised to his mouth.

Mrs. Weasley was telling Hermione and Ginny about a love potion she made when she was young. The three of them kept giggling, and Hermione even secretly glanced at Clark.

"What were you trying to say?" Ron asked Harry as they sat down.

"We'll talk about it later," Harry whispered, just as Percy came in menacingly and glared at Ron.

What followed was so busy and chaotic that Harry had no chance to speak to Clark or Ron again.

Everyone hurriedly moved all the boxes down the narrow stairs of the Leaky Cauldron and piled them at the door.

After going back and forth several times along the way, Clark even had to use a little trick to lighten the weight of the salute. Only then did he successfully pack his things when the Ministry of Magic's car arrived.

"They're coming," Mr. Weasley poked his head in from the door, "Quick, let's go."

They were two old-fashioned dark green cars.

The drivers are mysterious-looking wizards wearing bright green velvet suits.

Clark looked at their tense arms, glanced at their cuffs vaguely, and immediately judged that these two were elite Aurors from the Ministry of Magic.

"You go in first, Harry, and take the first one."

Mr. Weasley led Harry across the short sidewalk, looking nervously at both sides of the street from time to time.

Harry obediently got into the back of the car, and soon Hermione, Clark and Ron also got in one by one.

None of them spoke, and even the dullest people could tell that something was wrong.

Fortunately, after the car started, the journey to King's Cross Station was uneventful and no accidents occurred.

The two Ministry of Magic cars looked nothing special, but Clark noticed that they could fit through any narrow gap effortlessly, and it was clear that the two cars were also enchanted.

When they arrived at King's Cross Station, there were still more than twenty minutes before the train started.

The driver from the Ministry of Magic found a trolley for their luggage, unloaded their suitcases, and then gave Mr. Weasley a cryptic hat tip before driving away.

Somehow, they managed to get in front of a row of cars waiting at a red light.

On the other side, Mr. Weasley walked into the station next to Harry, never leaving his side for a moment.

"Okay, there are too many of us, so come two by two, Harry and I will go first."

He looked around, then pushed Harry's trolley and crossed the dividing wall between platforms 9 and 10 with Harry.

"Hermione, Clark, you're the second one.

Percy, Ron, you guys are behind..."

Clark and Hermione trotted forward pushing the trolley, and in the blink of an eye they were through the solid wall and onto platform (nine and three-quarters).

On the track, a bright red steam locomotive was blowing smoke, and the platform was crowded with wizards and wizards who came to send their children to school.

This gives people a feeling of inverting time and space and returning to the era of great steam.

Percy and Ron suddenly appeared behind Clark, panting and obviously running through the partition wall.

"Hey Penello!"

Percy, who had just stopped, suddenly shouted, then ran his hands through his hair, and his face turned pink again.

A tall senior witch with long curly hair turned her head.

Percy immediately strode towards her, and at the same time, he deliberately pushed his chest high so that the girl could see clearly the shining Student Council President badge on his chest.

Seeing the very similar expression between Percy and the peacock, Clark and Hermione looked at each other, then turned around and snickered.

Behind them, the twin brothers and Mrs. Weasley and Ginny came over.

Everyone walked onto the train, passed through the full compartments, and finally came to a compartment at the end of the train that looked relatively empty.

Mr. Weasley helped them put all the boxes on it, and then everyone walked off the train one by one and came out to say goodbye to Mr. and Mrs. Weasley.

Mrs. Weasley kissed each of her children, then Clark, then Hermione, and finally Harry.

She gave Harry an extra hug, and Harry looked a little embarrassed, but still very happy.

"You have to take care of yourself, you know, Harry?" she said, straightening up, with a strange light in her eyes, and began to distribute the sandwiches she had made to the children.

Mr. Weasley called Harry aside and whispered to him.

The train's whistle blew a long whistle, which seemed to urge the little wizards to board the train quickly.

"Arthur!" shouted Mrs. Weasley, who was already taking care of others getting on the train. "Arthur, what are you doing? The train is leaving!"

There was another loud whistle, and the guard walked along the train and closed the doors one by one.

"Arthur, hurry up!" Mrs. Weasley shouted again.

The locomotive puffed out steam and began to move slowly forward.

Harry hurriedly ran to the door and jumped onto the train being greeted by Ron, with a confused and uneasy expression on his face.

When the train started to move completely, the train turned a corner and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley were no longer visible.

He whispered to Clark, Hermione and Ron, "I need to talk to you in private!"

"Go away, Ginny!" Ron waved his hand, trying to drive Ginny away.

"Oh, that's not bad." Ginny said angrily, turning around to leave, but was stopped by Clark.

"It's okay. I believe Ginny knows what to say and what not to say. She is still very reliable."

Clark's words made Ginny raise her head proudly, and Ron opened his mouth, speechless.

The five people walked forward along the aisle until they reached the last car where they put their luggage.

There was only one person in that cubicle, a sleeping man sitting by the window.

The little wizards stood at the door and looked at it.

The Hogwarts Express is usually a student bus, and apart from the witch pushing a cart selling food, they have never seen any other adults on the train.

"Who do you think he is?" Ginny asked in a low voice curiously. At this time, they closed the sliding door and chose the seat farthest from the window and sat down.

Clark looked the stranger up and down.

He was wearing a tattered wizard's robe, which had signs of repair in several places.

But even so, his clothes were still clean and tidy, the corners and cuffs of his clothes were ironed very smoothly, and his gray temples were carefully combed.

So even if he looks sick, everyone will not feel any rejection towards him, but on the contrary, they will be a little worried about him.

A poor man who lives a hard life but is full of hope for the future!

Clark secretly made a conclusion for him.

"Professor R.J. Lupin." Hermione whispered from the side.

"How do you know?" Ron asked.

Hermione pointed to the luggage rack above the man's head and replied, "It says on his suitcase."

There was a tattered small leather box on the luggage rack, tied with many ropes and neatly knotted.

R.J. Lupine's name is printed on the corner of the box, and the letters are peeling off.

"I wonder which course he teaches?" Ron frowned, looking at Professor Lupine's lifeless figure.

But after asking, he immediately regretted it, because he found that several other people were looking at him like they were idiots.

"No need to ask," Hermione whispered, "There will never be enough professors for only one position at Hogwarts, right?"

"Defence Against the Dark Arts!" Clark whispered.

In the past two terms, they have had two Defense Against the Dark Arts teachers.

Quirinus Quirrell, and Gilderoy Lockhart, both taught for only one year.

There were rumors that the job was cursed by Voldemort.

Now it seems that in the face of the pressure of life, the illusory curse cannot stop Lupine at all. The position of Hogwarts professor is an opportunity for him.

"Well, I hope he can do the job." Ron quickly changed the subject, "Harry, what did you want to tell us just now?"

Harry then repeated exactly what he heard last night, the Weasleys' quarrel about Black, and what Mr. Weasley warned him just now.

When he finished speaking, Ron was stunned and Ginny covered her mouth with her hands.

Only Clark and Hermione seemed to be as calm as ever.

Ginny persuaded with a worried look on her face: "Sirius Black escaped to find you? Oh, Harry... you must be very, very careful. Don't look for trouble, Harry..."

"I'm not looking for trouble," Harry said angrily, "but trouble always comes to me."

He thought of Dobby last year, and Sirius Black this year.

"Isn't Harry stupid enough to go find a madman who wants to kill him?" Ron said tremblingly.

Harry didn't expect them to take the news so seriously, and both Ron and Ginny seemed more afraid of Black than he was.

So he turned his attention to Clark, as if as long as he was around, he would be safe.

Clark lived up to his expectations and said very calmly:

"This matter is actually not that scary. After all, what we are going to next is Hogwarts, the safest place in the world.

There is the world's greatest white wizard, Principal Dumbledore, and I don't think anyone can easily take Harry away under his nose. "

Well, Clark admitted that he had said enough, and Dumbledore was not omnipotent.

At least in the original work, Harry was abducted by Voldemort outside the school when he was in fourth grade, but who knows about this now?

"But no one knows how he escaped from Azkaban," Ron said still a little uneasily.

"The security there is very tight. No one has ever been able to do it before, and he is a prisoner under special guard."

"But they will catch him, won't they?" Hermione analyzed seriously from the side, "I mean, the Ministry of Magic mobilized the Muggles and specially arranged people to protect Harry..."

"Protecting Harry, who?" Ron said with a surprised look on his face.

Ginny finally had room to express herself, "Brother, can't you use your brain? With our father's position in the Ministry of Magic, how could he possibly mobilize two cars to send us to school? They all belong to the Ministry of Magic." arrange."

"The two drivers driving the car are both Aurors from the Ministry of Magic. The thick calluses on their hands prove it." Clark also added.

Ron's ears turned red again, but after listening to Clark's analysis, the worries of the other little wizards seemed to have eased a lot.

At least they started to have the leisure to discuss their upcoming third year, such as their autumn trip to Hogsmeade.

"It would be nice to leave school for a short while and go to Hogsmeade to explore, isn't it?" Ron said excitedly

"Probably," Harry said gloomily, "When you feel this way, you must tell me."

"What do you mean?" Hermione said.

"I can't go. The Dursleys didn't sign my permission form, and Fudge didn't want to sign either." Harry spread his hands helplessly.

"Even if your aunt and uncle sign the permission form, you can't go!" Clark's words stabbed Harry in the heart again, "Black is still outside, and the professors won't let you leave Hogwart. tz’s.”

Hermione and Ginny nodded in agreement. Ron was about to say that Fred and George knew the secret passage to the outside of the castle, but he couldn't say it at this time.

"Yeah, I think if I asked Professor McGonagall for approval, she would definitely say the same thing." Harry said gloomily.

"Actually, Hogsmeade may not be that fun this year." Clark suddenly said mysteriously.

"Why?"

Hermione and the others looked at him curiously, but Clark did not answer. Instead, he gave it a try and said, "You will find out at the opening party."

Ron was about to ask further questions when Professor Lupine suddenly moved.

They looked at him worriedly, but saw that he just turned his head to the other side, opened his mouth slightly, and continued to sleep again.
