Hogwarts behind-the-scenes big boss

Chapter 9 The Law of Immortality

"I know two true ways to achieve eternal life."

Salazar looked toward the cemetery at his feet.

"First, death is eternal life.

It is not a pretense of being profound, nor is it an obscure prophecy.

It is a practical method and a path I am walking on."

Moriarty was not surprised. He had heard the phrase "death is eternal life" too many times.

Salazar even wrote it down on the first page of his diary.

only……

There must be some kind of connection between death and immortality.

Moriarty's searching eyes fell on Salazar's face.

"Tell me some specific details, methods, techniques, conditions, obstacles...

You can't die and live forever - no one can do that."

"The cemetery and the family magic circle you see are just a process in the specific details. They are the back-up tools I left for myself."

Salazar's tone became desolate.

"As for other details, they will not be disclosed for the time being.

I'm not hiding anything, I just don't want to affect you.

You know, even though you are my descendant, when we reach the critical point of the legendary archmage and the magic god, we can only rely on ourselves.

Make a judgment and decide which path to take next, become a god? Live forever? Challenge death? Return to mediocrity? Everything depends on yourself."

Moriarty nodded in agreement, this is Salazar.

He is not like Grandpa, nor Moriarty's nanny.

Regardless of Moriarty's age or name, he will not respond to Moriarty's requests.

Moriarty doesn't need such a Salazar either.

Salazar treated Moriarty like a legendary archmage on the same level.

Without further questioning, Moriarty looked down at the cemetery like Salazar.

"In order to live forever, you moved your family's cemetery into an alien space and built a magic circle. Doing so seems to be blaspheming the undead."

"First of all, I didn't blaspheme the undead."

Salazar stared at Moriarty expressionlessly, with a Slytherin-like arrogance in his tone.

"Secondly, not every legendary archmage chooses to die.

And finally, I want to say..."

Salazar narrowed his eyes, looking arrogant and domineering.

"If I really blaspheme the souls of the dead for the sake of eternal life, it is not my fault and no one can blame me."

Moriarty believes that arrogance such as Salazar disdains lies, and he says that no blasphemy means no blasphemy.

"So, what are you going to do to fill in the missing magic circle?

You and I both know that the current magic circle is far from reaching its peak state."

Salazar read the trust in Moriarty's eyes, his eyes softened a lot, and he slowly moved away.

"Currently, I don't really need the magic circle to reach its peak state.

Look at me now, even though I am just a consciousness left in the cemetery, do you think I am weak?"

"No," Moriarty said softly: "Your consciousness is more powerful than most wizards, and your strength is unfathomable."

"This is it," Salazar half taught, half sighed: "cross life and death to reach eternal life. If you choose this path, death is eternal life."

Moriarty gradually understood the meaning of death as eternal life. He said: "Beyond life and death? It seems to be related to the death curtain in the Department of Mysteries."

Of course, in your day, there was no Ministry of Magic."

"Death curtain..." Salazar nodded indifferently, "Maybe it's another way to transcend life and death."

Moriarty saw his indifference.

Think about it, just like what he said, every legendary mage who has half a foot in the realm of gods has his own path.

Regardless of the beautiful scenery on the roadside, they will continue to move forward firmly.

Even if the other road is clear, they will go through the rugged roads unwaveringly.

Now it seems that Salazar probably chose the extremely difficult way.

"But I need a complete magic circle after all." Salazar changed his tone and looked at the cemetery and then at Moriarty.

"Bury me and my Squib ancestors in it, and the magic circle will be complete." Moriarty said jokingly, but there was not much smile in his eyes.

"That's true, but I won't do it," Salazar sighed, "otherwise, a thousand years ago, I would have gone to China to capture my squib son."

Moriarty is suspicious. In essence, he and Salazar are the same kind of people.

He had no doubt that Salazar would indeed bury him and his squib son in the cemetery if necessary!

"You must be thinking why, hehehe," Salazar sneered, "the reason involves the second method of immortality."

"The second type is the prophecy of eternal life."

Salazar's eyes suddenly turned cold, and he released a burst of murderous intent.

Gu/span is so murderous.

Moriarty is very sensitive to strange emotions such as murderous intent, and Salazar is definitely angry.

That's understandable.

The prophecy of eternal life, old friend.

"The prophecy of immortality is an extremely dark and evil magic." Moriarty opened his mouth and kept talking.

"But there is a group of people in this world who hope to achieve ulterior secrets through the prophecy of eternal life.

No one knows the details of this group of people, so they are tentatively called the Eternal Life Organization.

You won’t tell me that the people who bewitched Squib’s ancestors are this group of immortal organizations, right?”

Salazar glanced at Moriarty in surprise, then thought of something, and his expression returned to normal.

"Merlin told you?"

Moriarty's eyes were full of smiles.

"Ah, the story of Merlin and I can be roughly summarized as: meeting in Avalon, fighting Dracula, and intersecting with the Elf Queen."

When he mentioned Merlin, Moriarty immediately thought of a black dragon and a giantess having sex non-stop.

The picture is full of sense.

"Merlin is an interesting guy."

Salazar raised the corner of his mouth and exchanged a look with Moriarty. The two found a common topic in their views on Merlin.

"Do you know where Merlin's true form is?" Moriarty asked casually.

"No matter where he is, he must be looking for the magic to resurrect King Arthur." Salazar perfectly explained what high emotional intelligence means.

I don’t know, but I won’t say it, and I won’t admit that I don’t know.

Whether I know or not is up to you to think about.

Okay, okay...

Moriarty smiled and shook his head: "When we parted ways, the Merlin who turned into a black dragon went to Japan with the Elf Queen."

"Japan?"

Salazar frowned, Japan was a small country thousands of years ago.

Barren and weak, it is called the "magic desert".

Is Japan worth Merlin’s personal visit?

Are you still taking Vivian with you?

Salazar knows about the love-hate relationship between Merlin and Vivian.

Don't look at Vivian's extremely extreme attitude towards Merlin.

But her strength should not be underestimated, she is a real legend.

With such a combination heading to Japan, Salazar truly felt that Japan was not worthy.

Moriarty told Salazar about the attacks that occurred after the World Cup. After listening, Salazar pursed his lips and pondered for a moment.

"Do you suspect that the Japanese BOSS is the leader of the Eternal Life Organization? And he has mastered dark element magic."

"That's right." Moriarty said solemnly: "I said before that I would go to Japan just for this matter."

Sara looked at Moriarty and shook her head.

I think the leader of the Immortal Organization is not the Japanese BOSS.

The reason is very simple. Thousands of years ago, my squib son was bewitched by someone, and that person could not be Japanese."

Moriarty raised his eyebrows: "In other words, the Eternal Life Organization started its activities thousands of years ago, and it even got you into trouble."

Given Salazar's character, it is as rare as a troll to be able to solve math problems without finding out the mastermind behind his son's bewitchment.

But Salazar took it as a matter of course.

"I don't care about my squib son, you see, I never say his name, I don't even want to tell you his name.

Besides, I had more important things to do at the time."

Moriarty was a little surprised. Salazar seemed to know what Moriarty was going to say and coughed.

"Let me finish telling the prophecy of eternal life first, and then we'll talk about that matter."

"Oh? How much do you know about the prophecy of eternal life?"

Moriarty asked with interest. Before contacting the Eternal Life Organization, he needed to know as much information as possible.

"I don't know much, and it's basically the same as what you know." Salazar didn't blush at all, and still said in a deep voice: "But one thing, I know a prerequisite for realizing the eternal prophecy, and that is the key!"

"key?"

"Yes, the key!" Salazar became serious, "To realize the prophecy of eternal life, you need a key."

Moriarty frowned and recalled the keys that appeared around him, but found nothing.

So it hasn’t appeared yet?

No matter when or where the key appears, Moriarty must get it!
