Hogwarts behind-the-scenes big boss

Chapter 29: Monday Morning (for further reading)

On Monday morning, when the students arrived at the auditorium, they were surprised to find a black boy hanging from the ceiling. Filch was chattering and scolding him. Judging from his expression, he seemed to want to pick up the whip in his hand and give the poor boy a whip.

"Oh no," Charlie yelled angrily: "That's Lee Jordan! What is Filch doing! He picked up the whip?"

"Go find Professor McGonagall!" The little lions recognized their new student. Filch was so bold that he wanted to whip the student openly!

Of course, the whip did not fall in the end. Professor McGonagall arrived in time: "Argus! The castle has already abolished the punishment system of whipping students!"

Professor McGonagall was particularly angry. She put Li Jordan down, and Charlie quickly took Li Jordan, who was limp into a puddle of mud, to sit on his seat.

Li Jordan shivered and huddled up. Professor McGonagall looked at him and frowned, but Filch said with dignity: "Professor McGonagall, it's the first night of Gryffindor's freshman year."

You! I caught him red-handed, right in the basement corridor!"

Moriarty learned the forgetting spell from Lockhart, and Filch perfectly forgot the Weasley twins and Lilith.

But Li Jordan didn't run away when Filch was stunned, so he was caught by Filch who came back to his senses!

"Is what Filch said true?" Professor McGonagall glared at Li Jordan and said coldly: "Freshmen went out at night on the first day of school? It really opened my eyes, Mr. Jordan. Because of your

For this behavior, all the students in the school have to accept the punishment! I have to personally deduct fifty points from Gryffindor!"

The little lions stared blankly at the hourglass containing rubies, but it was empty.

On the first day of school, Gryffindor was deducted 50 points before he even got the house points!

Professor McGonagall also discovered this, and she snorted coldly, "Mr. Li Jordan, your confinement will begin next Monday night. Now, Charlie, take him to the campus hospital."

Filch seemed to be dissatisfied with this arrangement. He felt that the punishment was too light, but he did not dare to disobey Professor McGonagall and could only warn: "Don't let me catch you again!"

But the students sneered at his words. How could an old squib reach the sky? They laughed at Filch as he slowly walked away with his kerosene lamp and his cat in his arms.

When Li Jordan saw the kerosene lamp light up again, he shivered and leaned toward Charlie as if he had seen a vicious gangster.

The students laughed when they saw this scene. Except for the little lions, the students from the other three colleges had no sympathy for Li Jordan at all. They thought he was so stupid that he would be caught by an old squib!

Only Lilith, who knew the inside story, understood that it was not Li Jordan's fault.

Obviously, the Weasley twins thought so too. They carried Lee Jordan on their backs and wanted to send him to the school hospital as soon as possible.

Charlie stared at his two younger brothers suspiciously. He always felt that the night trip had something to do with them.

"You didn't notice that Li Jordan didn't come back to the dormitory last night? Or was it that you weren't in the dormitory either?" Charlie asked sternly.

The Weasley twins didn't reply, but just lowered their heads guiltily. After saying goodbye to Moriarty last night, they didn't dare to go back to the dormitory, so they sneaked into an empty classroom and hid under the table to sleep.

George wanted to defend Lee Jordan, but Fred stopped him. The twins looked at each other and saw the dancing flame in each other's eyes: against Filch!

Jericho looked at the backs of the twins leaving in a hurry and sighed: "I was quite optimistic about them, but I didn't expect that they couldn't even protect their own companions. I dare say they were part of the night outing last night. How could you

look?"

"This matter is not that simple." Lilith said calmly, finding a seat and sitting down.

"Oh?" Jericho became interested: "It seems that the eldest lady knows some inside information that we don't know?"

After realizing that Lilith had no intention of answering, Jericho shrugged and asked Marcus next to him: "Where is Mr. Moriarty? He missed a good show! Gryffindor was detained just after the semester started.

Fifty points, this year’s Academy Cup is ours again.”

This time it was Lilith who answered him: "You mean Moriarty? Have you forgotten that he is with Tonks every morning?"

"Aha!" Jericho glanced at Lilith meaningfully, seeming to have discovered the reason for Lilith's coldness, but he guessed wrong. Lilith's mind was now full of alchemy.

Jericho thought his judgment was right, and he joked: "If I remember correctly, we had alchemy class with Hufflepuff, so who will Mr. Moriarty sit with? Me

Bet it's Senior Tonks! What do you think, Pilevick?"

"I'm more concerned about the alchemy class than the seat problem." Unexpectedly, Saldaya's voice came from the end of the table. His voice was cold and calm: "What preparations do we need before class? What should we bring? These

Captain Jericho didn't seem to think about the problem. I noticed that you only brought a wand, and as far as I know, alchemy cannot be learned with a wave of a wand."

"Soldaya." Jericho narrowed his eyes and said displeasedly: "You seem to have turned a deaf ear to my words."

"That's absolutely not the case, Captain Jericho." Saldaya looked at him and said seriously: "I have carefully considered your instructions, but after thinking about it, I feel that it is not my style to keep it secret.

It can obviously be the sharpest edge on the sword, so why hide it?"

"Really?" Jericho smiled: "I'll wait and see?"

"You can expect a hand." Soldaya also smiled and nodded to him.

The little snakes looked at them strangely. What happened to these two people? It seemed that they suddenly smelled of gunpowder.

At this time, Moriarty and Tonks arrived. Tonks was holding a stack of thick parchment with runes written on it.

"Are you all here?" Moriarty looked at the little snake and the little badger, "Today is the first alchemy class, let's go there early."

The two college students followed Moriarty obediently and walked toward the secret room. Jericho hurriedly held a few pieces of bread in his mouth and ran to Moriarty: "Sir, are we doing this too much?

It’s grand.”

Seeing that Jericho was a little dissatisfied with the alchemy class, Moriarty said earnestly: "This is a course that can affect your life. Cheer up, Jericho."

Facts have proved that Moriarty was right. When they entered the secret room, they found that Nico Flamel and Perenelle had arrived, and the secret room was decorated into a large classroom.

There are dozens of rows of stone tables and chairs for six people in a row. There are enough seats for students to sit down and study hard.

Under the Salazar statue, there was an open space as big as a basketball court. A large lecture table and two deck chairs were placed on the ground. The new professor was half leaning on it. At their feet, there was a

A large pile of boxes covered with black cloth.

The students recognized that those were the alchemy tools on the train, and their eyes became a little more fiery.

"Who are they?" Tonks pointed to the dozen adult wizards sitting in the back row of the secret room. They were writing something down quickly with shorthand quills.

"Officials sent by the Ministry of Magic, and reporters from the Daily Prophet."

Moriarty narrowed his eyes slightly. He had just finished signing in.

"Congratulations to the host for successfully signing in and obtaining alchemy materials and corn candles.

Note: The Slytherin Chamber of Secrets (now the Alchemy Classroom) is a repeatable sign-in location, and the host can sign in once a day."

Another place where you can sign in repeatedly. Moriarty just went to the Sri Lankan teacher's office to sign in in the morning and got a piece of gill grass.

I will be very busy in the future.

Moriarty shook his head, maybe he should get the Marauder's Map?

While Moriarty was planning how to complete the check-in task quickly and efficiently, he found a suitable seat and sat down. The people sitting in the same row with him were Tonks, Lilith, Marcus, and Leon.

Everyone wanted to sit next to Moriarty, but the last seat was taken by Saldaya, and Jericho was busy eating bread and fell behind.

After a commotion, the students all sat down and looked at Nico Flamel quietly without making a sound.

A few minutes later, Dumbledore led several professors into the secret room. The students were surprised to find that all the professors were here except Professor St. Thomas, who was giving a Potions class to Gryffindor.

They sat at the back of the classroom. The Ministry of Magic officials rushed to stand up and shake hands with Dumbledore. As for the reporters, they enthusiastically recorded everything that happened.

When Nico Flamel saw that everyone was here, he slowly stood up from the couch and softly uttered one word: "Candle."

With a "hoo!", a metal ball the size of a basketball flew out from under the black cloth. It spun and floated in front of each student. A small piece of white candle spit out from the bottom and landed on the table.
