Chapter 112 The Burrow

Village of Ottery-St. Catchpole, Devon.

The Burrow is the residence of the Weasley family. It is at least four stories high and built crookedly.

From the outside, it seems that when building this house, the owner wanted to imitate Muggle architectural style.

But Muggle architecture was not as simple as he imagined. In the end, he had to rely on magic to build the house, so the house became this crooked style.

There are four or five chimneys on the red roof, and a sign is inserted diagonally in front of the house that reads "Burrow".

There were some high-top leather boots and a rusty crucible beside the gate. A few fat brown chickens were pecking in the yard outside the house.

A huge three-decker bus stopped outside the yard. The golden letters on the windshield formed the words: Knight Bus.

Soon, the car door opened, and Kyle, dressed in Muggle casual clothes, calmly stepped out of the car.

I don't know if it was because of his previous experience of using gut-removing spells against chickens, ducks and geese that Kyle had an aura of fear that only worked on poultry.

When he passed through the yard, he scared the fat chickens in the yard and fled in all directions.

Carrying a bag of souvenirs, Kyle knocked on the door of the Burrow.

The sound of footsteps soon came from behind the door, and the person who opened the door for Kyle was a short, fat, kind-faced woman.

"Hello, Mrs. Weasley, I'm here to see George and Fred."

"You must be Kyle," Mrs. Weasley said with surprise in her tone, "Welcome to the Burrow."

She smiled gently and said, "George and Fred often talk about you. Have you had breakfast?"

"Already eaten, ma'am."

Hearing Kyle's answer, Mrs. Weasley looked towards the stairs beside the living room and shouted at the top of her lungs, "George! Fred! Kyle is here as a guest!"

Two red-haired heads instantly appeared at the top of the stairs.

Ron, and another slightly smaller head, also poked their heads out of their room.

"Kyle!"

The two brothers immediately jumped down the stairs laughing and joking, and as expected, they were scolded by Mrs. Weasley.

Kyle placed the gift on the living room table while looking at the decoration of the Burrow.

There is a strange wall clock hanging on the opposite wall. The wall clock has only one needle and no numbers. On the clock there are words such as "Make tea, feed the chickens, you will be late."

It seems to be a magic version of reminder APP.

There is also a grandfather clock placed on the other side. If you want to know the time, it is completely useless, but it can provide many other situations.

There are nine golden needles on the grandfather clock, and each needle has the name of a Weasley family member written on it.

There are also no numbers engraved on the clock, but words such as "home", "school" and "work" are written on it. Where ordinary clocks represent twelve o'clock, there is a mark "life danger."

There are three layers of books stacked on the mantelpiece next to it: "Magic for Your Cheese", "The Magic of Baking Bread", "Conjure a Feast", etc., all of which are Mrs. Weasley's cookbooks.

It seems that Mrs. Weasley is quite proficient in cooking. After all, she is the head and chef of a family of nine, so she cannot be bad at cooking.

Yes, Mr. Weasley can be said to have tracheitis. In this family, Mrs. Weasley is the head of the family.

Next to the living room is the kitchen.

The kitchen is small and quite crowded, with a clean wooden table and a few chairs in the middle.

Judging from the pile of dishes in the kitchen sink, the Weasley family must have just finished breakfast, and Mrs. Weasley was washing the dishes.

Mrs. Weasley used her wand to touch the dishes in the sink casually, and the dishes began to clean themselves, and the clinking sound was like background music.

At this time, the twin brothers also came down from the third floor to the first floor.

When the two came up, they immediately blocked Kyle's shoulders.

"Hey, brother!"

"haven't seen you for a long time!"

Kyle took the two's dog paws off his shoulders in disgust and cleaned himself up.

I don't know what the two of them were tinkering with upstairs just now. Their hands were dirty and covered in black ash, so they smeared them on themselves.

"It's been a long time, it's only been a week."

Mrs. Weasley's voice came from the kitchen, "Kids, would you like to have a snack or play outside for a while?"

"Mom, Kyle and we are going to find Cedric." George turned around and replied.

"Remember to be back before lunch!"

Cedric's house was still a few miles away from the Burrow.

Because there are still many Muggles living in this small village, Kyle and the others cannot fly over the heads of the Muggles on their broomsticks so arrogantly.

Kyle wasn't going to walk several miles just to shout Cedric out of his house.

Standing in the small yard outside the Burrow, Kyle mobilized his magic power and slapped his right hand heavily on the ground. Black runes like tadpoles extended from his palm to all sides.

"Psychic art!"

A cloud of white smoke burst out from the middle of the rune circle, and the dazed figure of a dozen crows appeared in front of several people.

This magic is actually an ordinary summoning spell.

It is based on the summoning spell that Professor Flitwick often used as a negative teaching material in his Charms class. The wizard Baruffio mispronounced the spell and summoned a bison.

Kyle made modifications based on the Buffalo Summoning Spell, mainly adding some good-looking but useless special effects to it, such as the black runes and the white smoke just now.

Kyle can summon whatever is in his Bag End suitcase with a summoning spell.

Of course, the suitcase can't be too far away from Kyle.

Otherwise, Kyle really wants to build a magical zoo in his suitcase and summon magical animals to fight for him anytime and anywhere.

One dozen crows brought Cedric a letter, while Kyle, led by his twin brother, visited the Burrow.

The yard outside the burrow is full of trees entwined around the walls, overgrown weeds and overgrown turf.

Groups of ugly goblins were jumping around in the ground.

Further away, there is a dense reed swamp and a large sparkling pond.

Kyle's eyes fell on the large rusty iron shed next to the house.

"Come here, I have a good guy here." Fred led Kyle towards the big tin shed.

George pushed open the sliding door of the shed.

What caught Kyle's eyes was——

one two three four five six……

Well, not five pairs of road wheels.

The wide military green body brings an incomparable sense of security to people. The bullet marks on the thick armor reveal the wars it has experienced. The long and thick gun barrel exudes a terrifying deterrent...

As a half-military man, Kyle recognized it at a glance. It was a Centurion main battle tank, commonly known as Centurion.

It is the first generation main battle tank designed and manufactured by Britain in the mid-1940s.

It seems that Mr. Weasley really followed his suggestion and went to the tank cemetery in northern England to do some archeology.

Kyle patted the body of the tank excitedly, "Will this thing work properly?"

George and Fred looked embarrassed when they heard this.

"No, this is just an empty shell." Fred scratched the back of his head.

Next to George was a Ford Anglia with the hood open, and an engine scattered beside it.

"My dad originally planned to dismantle the engine of this car and install it." George spread his hands.

Kyle could probably guess what was going on, and the next second, Fred's words confirmed his guess.

"But after he took it apart, he didn't know how to install it."

Kyle touched his chin, "I know how to do this, and I can help."

His wandering life forced him to learn many things, operating machine tools was one of them, and auto repair was another.

Before the brothers could speak, Kyle made another suggestion.

"I think besides installing the engine on the tank, we can do something else." Kyle kept looking back and forth between the tank and the car.

If it had remained in the form of a tank, this thing would have been too ostentatious.

"What?" the twin brothers asked curiously.

"With only a simple transformation magic and some alchemical methods, we can fuse this tank and this car and let it have two forms at the same time."

But if this happens, the original car engine will no longer be able to drive the tank's heavy body, and they will have to build a new one.

Or use a floating spell to reduce the weight of the tank.

"Like Transformers?" George's eyes lit up.

The brothers had read a lot of comic books in Kyle's Bag End before. In addition to Transformers, they also knew about Marvel and DC.

Otherwise, why would George's first-generation war machine puppet look so similar to a war machine that talks a lot about it?

It wasn't comic books that inspired him.

Kyle waved his hand, "Don't have any wishful thinking about the robot form. The most you can do is switch back and forth between a tank and a car."

If George improves his puppet technology to a certain level, it may not be difficult to build Gundam, the mecha in Pacific Rim, or Mechagodzilla.

But it's absolutely impossible now.
