Chapter 120 Thunderbird Hatching

While Snape was busy deciphering the protective magic left by Voldemort, Kyle had returned to his home in Dorset.

"Dad! I'm back!"

Kyle yelled as he passed by the living room, and regardless of whether the two old men heard it or not, he rushed into the breeding room.

This breeding room was specially cleaned by Kyle by the house elves after Grindelwald stole the Thunderbird eggs from Newt and was used to hatch Thunderbirds.

The Thunderbird egg lay quietly in a carefully decorated bird's nest in the center of the room, and Lamy, the house elf responsible for taking care of the Thunderbird egg, was waiting silently beside it.

Seeing Kyle come in, Lamy immediately stepped aside respectfully.

The egg was lying in the nest, shaking from time to time, and there was already a shallow crack on the eggshell.

It seems that he came back in time.

There was a funny clicking sound coming from the ptarmigan eggs.

Kyle pointed casually, and a chair flew out from behind.

He sat down on the chair and looked closely at the thunderbird egg in front of him.

The little ptarmigan kept moving inside the egg, trying hard to break out of the egg, and soon the shallow crack became larger and deeper.

Suddenly, with a harsh scratching sound, the eggshell was broken open.

A naked chicken poked its head out from the crack in the eggshell.

Not to mention beautiful, the newly born Thunderbird baby is not even average-looking.

But Kyle had read the Fantastic Beasts Illustrated Book, and he knew that Thunderbird would actually look very handsome when he grew up.

The beak is as sharp as an eagle, and the long pointed ears are like two sharp dragon horns, exuding a majestic aura.

Three pairs of powerful wings were wrapped in the flickering thunder. Against the backdrop of the brilliant thunder, the feathers all over the body seemed to be coated with a layer of shining gold.

This is what Kyle saw in the illustrated book, the image of an adult thunderbird.

Therefore, senior Yango Kyle didn't feel the slightest disgust in his heart towards the naked, hairless turkey in front of him.

He didn't care about the mucus still remaining on the baby ptarmigan, and stroked the ptarmigan's head twice.

The baby thunderbird nuzzled Kyle's hand affectionately. Judging from the way it looked, it must have regarded Kyle, the first person it saw after birth, as its mother.

"Rami."

"Master, what are your orders?" The house elf came up to him with all his might.

"What should I feed a newborn ptarmigan?"

"Just feed some meat cut into small strips." Lamy snapped his fingers, and a plate of chicken strips still stained with blood appeared in his hand.

Kyle picked up one of the chickens.

When it smelled the subtle smell of meat in the air, the baby ptarmigan opened its mouth impatiently, waiting for Kyle to feed it.

Seeing the little guy's greedy appearance, Kyle had a smile on his face.

"What name should I give you?"

Kyle pulled the little guy's mouth and found that, yes, there were no teeth.

"How about calling me Toothless?"

Kyle thought about it and decided to forget it.

He didn't want a certain Night Fury to automatically appear in his mind every time he called Toothless's name.

"How about calling me Thor or Sikong Zhen? Anyway, you are all playing thunder and lightning."

After much deliberation, Kyle decided to name it "Lan".

The combination of the two attributes of water and thunder creates Lan Dun. It just so happens that the Thunderbird's talent also gives it the ability to call storms and control thunder and lightning, which perfectly matches the two attributes of water and thunder.

So there is nothing more suitable for the newly hatched little guy than the name "Lan".

Kyle held a piece of chicken and shook it up and down in front of the little guy.

The little guy, whose attention was attracted by the chicken, nodded as the chicken swayed up and down in Kyle's hand.

This counts as consent.

"Okay," Kyle said with satisfaction, feeding the strip of meat into Lan's mouth, "you'll call me Lan."

The adult thunderbird is very large, with its wings spread out to eight or nine meters wide.

Therefore, the size of the ptarmigan baby is not small. When it is just born, it is as big as an adult chicken.

The large plate of meat sticks prepared by the house elves was quickly eaten.

No matter what kind of creature it is, when it is in its infancy, its daily life is roughly the same. It is nothing more than eating when it is full, going to bed, sleeping when it is enough, waking up and eating again, and the cycle starts over and over again.

Lan is now in the stage of eating and sleeping.

Looking at Lan sleeping soundly in the bird's nest, Kyle handed over the care of Lan to Lamy, turned around and left the breeding room.

Kyle came out of the living room, thinking about Thunderbirds all the time.

Not only is he immune to lightning, but he can also control lightning, which is an enviable ability.

He has been strengthening himself with thunder and lightning for more than a year, but he still hasn't been able to upgrade his Chidori into a Raikiri with more concentrated electric current.

Kyle suddenly remembered that when he was in the Forbidden Forest, Voldemort had used magic similar to armor color hardening.

Even Feng Qiuhuang made of fairy metal can withstand it, so there is no reason why it can't withstand a small electric current.

Kyle plans to ask Grindelwald to see if he knows this kind of magic.

In the living room, Kyle ran into Dumbledore, whom he hadn't seen for several days.

Most of what Voldemort mastered was probably dark magic.

Kyle thought.

In the end he decided to go find Grindelwald.

So he said: "Dad, where is Daddy Gellert?"

As soon as he heard Kyle's first words, asking where Grindelwald was, Dumbledore's originally kind face froze instantly.

"In the study." Dumbledore replied angrily.

Kyle immediately ran towards Grindelwald's study, leaving Dumbledore alone in the living room in a mess.

Is it really because his bloodline is not dense enough that he can only be regarded as half of Kyle's father at most, so Kyle will be closer to Grindelwald?

Dumbledore was so angry.

Should we take any measures to bring the relationship between father and son closer?

Kyle likes those good-looking magical animals, but he can't let go of his old face and go to the magical zoo next door to harm Scamander like Grindelwald.

Well, if you use human transformation to look like Grindelwald...

What was he thinking? How could he, Dumbledore, use such despicable means?

But it’s still exciting to think about it.

There seems to be no more convenient and efficient way to bring parents and children closer together.

Dumbledore paced back and forth in the living room with a troubled expression.

"Have you not fallen behind in your study of magic power conversion?"

In the study room, Grindelwald, like a parent in heaven, asked with concern about his son's study situation.

"Of course not." Kyle shook his head, and then a ray of dark magic came out from behind, forming a sharp black scythe beside him.

If there are any Honor of Kings players here, they will be able to recognize who is in COS with Kyle’s current appearance.

Destroyed soul, peerless power.

Words of silence, heart of silence, Sima Yi!

Judging from the expression on Grindelwald's face, he is quite satisfied with Kyle's current mastery of the transformation of the nature of magic and his control over magic.

After showing off for a while, Kyle put away the Shadow Scythe and explained his purpose to Grindelwald.

"Similar magic?" Grindelwald held his chin in thought and quickly gave the answer.

"I remember there is a magic called Demon Skin, which belongs to the category of human body transformation. It can make your skin as tough as an ancient demon."

Grindelwald took a few pieces of parchment and lightly touched it with his fingers. A ball of ink smeared on the place where his fingers came into contact with the parchment, automatically forming dense writing.

"Is this the magic called Demon Skin?" Kyle took the parchment from Grindelwald's hand with eager eyes.

Grindelwald slowly shook his head, "No, this is the knowledge about skin deformation in human transfiguration."

Seeing the confusion in Kyle's eyes, Grindelwald explained, "The stratum corneum on the surface of the skin is an inanimate substance, and it can be easily changed with a little bit of transfiguration."

"Devil Skin is not a difficult spell. As long as you learn the knowledge above, you can easily create magic similar to Demon Skin."

Teaching a man to fish is worse than teaching him to fish. Kyle immediately guessed what Grindelwald was thinking.

So he nodded and said to Grindelwald: "I understand, dad."

"Human Transfiguration is still dangerous," Grindelwald warned sternly. "Before you master the Animagus, do not try to deform other body tissues other than cuticles and hair."

"Okay, Dad, I won't seek death."
