Chapter 354 Moody's First Defense Against the Dark Arts Lesson

The first Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson for their fourth grade students will have to wait until Thursday.

For the next two days, Hogwarts was quiet.

If there was anything big, it was that Kyle went to Professor Moody privately, brought some black magic to the classroom, and let the students try to crack it.

Like ghosts, burning shadows, pain, chaos and tearing...

In the eyes of Moody and the Little Devil, these black magics are of an inferior level, but for these students who have not graduated from the magic school, they are a great threat and extremely harmful.

The first to be unlucky were the graduating seniors of seventh grade.

As Moody's teaching experiments, they were brutally whipped in their second Defense Against the Dark Arts class after enrolling.

After all, these black magics are too dangerous. If even seventh-grade students cannot deal with them, then it is absolutely impossible to promote them to lower levels, and Dumbledore will not agree.

Dumbledore is now very relaxed and allows Moody and Kyle to do whatever they want.

After hearing about the tragic experience of the seventh graders, the students at Hogwarts instantly lost interest in Moody's class.

On the afternoon of Thursday, after lunch, according to the past expectations of the students for the new professor of Anti-Dark Magic, they would all be quite impatient when facing the first class.

There was still quite some time before the class started, so they should wait outside the classroom.

As a result, that afternoon, the fourth grade lion cubs and badger cubs slowly entered the classroom until the school bell was about to ring.

The atmosphere in the classroom was extremely quiet. The students who had heard about Moody's notorious reputation from their seniors were so stunned that they didn't even dare to breathe when Moody walked into the classroom with a cane.

Only Kyle was unaffected. At this time, Kyle was sitting in the protagonist's seat by the window in the back row of the classroom, with his legs crossed.

Even when Moody stood on the podium and glared at him with his evil eyes, Kyle had no intention of sitting up straight.

On the contrary, Hermione next to her looked a little frightened, her back straight.

Glancing at the "Dark Powers: A Guide to Self-Defense" placed on every student's desk, Moody's gruff voice sounded in the classroom.

"Put these things away," his tone was full of disgust, "This is a practical class, you don't need textbooks."

When they heard the words "practical class", the students in the classroom seemed even more frightened.

They knew how the seventh-grade students were tortured.

Although Kyle, the assistant coach, therapist and master of defense against dark arts, was present, their bodies did not suffer any harm at all. Even if they were accidentally injured, Kyle healed them on the spot.

But the shadow left in his heart was something Kyle could do nothing to help.

When the last student finished answering, Moody spoke.

"I received a letter from Professor Lupin introducing the situation of this course. It seems that you have mastered a lot of basic knowledge on how to deal with dark magical animals."

At this point, Moody changed his subject.

"But you haven't learned enough about how I deal with spells."

A cruel smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, "Therefore, I am going to let you experience what real black magic is. I have one year to teach you how to deal with it."

"Kyle Dumbledore!"

Moody suddenly named Kyle.

This was completely unexpected by Kyle.

He is considered half of Moody's assistant. No matter what grade of Dark Lord he is, Moody always likes to have him, the son of the famous Dark Lord, come up to demonstrate in the first class.

Seeing Kyle walking up to the podium slowly, Moody felt a little complicated.

He has been dealing with dark wizards all his life and has arrested countless dark wizards.

But he had never seen someone like Kyle openly mingling with Dumbledore's camp as a dark wizard.

This guy is the son of Grindelwald, and he's also Dumbledore's eldest son.

If Kyle only had the first half of his identity, it would be easier for him to take action.

However, this guy also took on the identity of Dumbledore's son, which made Moody, who was a member of the Order of the Phoenix, the secret front against Voldemort, feel quite distressed.

Oops, I really want to catch it, but I can’t.

After standing on the podium, Kyle opened his arms, and the space in the classroom seemed to be under his control.

The floor and walls automatically extended toward the perimeter, and the tables and chairs the students were sitting on quickly moved away from the podium, driven by the floor. Soon the classroom space was more than doubled.

When the space stopped trembling, the podium under the feet of Kyle and Moody had become a spacious duel arena.

A shimmering, almost transparent barrier appeared between the podium and the students below.

If you observe carefully, you can find that this barrier is not just a wall, it also takes the shape of a cuboid or coffin along the floor and walls, trapping Moody and Kyle inside.

This will protect the students, or to be precise, the castle, and it will be foolproof.

"Are you ready?" Moody laughed hoarsely.

Seeing Kyle nod, Moody continued: "I'll start counting from one to three... three!"

Before he finished speaking, a green beam of light suddenly shot through the air, shooting toward Kyle like a bolt of electricity.

Facing the sudden attack of Moody, an old bastard, Kyle did not panic at all. He just tilted his head slightly and perfectly avoided Moody's killing curse.

He is already quite familiar with this old shady trick.

While tilting his head, he still had time to explain to the students under the podium.

"When facing the enemy, never believe any nonsense told by the enemy."

While Kyle was speaking, another blast of bone-piercing lightning came. Only then did Kyle take out his wand from his sleeve and fly away Moody's curse.

He continued, "This is the first rule you will learn in this semester's Defense Against the Dark Arts class."

After blocking three of Moody's curses in succession, Kyle looked at the former Auror angrily.

"Professor, are you an Auror or a Dark Wizard?"

The few curses Moody cast on him were either the Unforgivable Curse or damn black magic.

How about an Auror?

A darker wizard than him.

Kyle said he was a dark wizard, but in fact he didn't use black magic very much on weekdays. After all, as an Obscurial, he could turn "Expelliarmus" into "Expelliarmus" with his powerful magic power.

, those fancy black magics are more practical for Kyle than just hitting people with magic power.
