Chapter 591 Slytherin's request

"You appeared in front of me just to tell me this?"

Snape pointed the Heart Sword in his hand at Slytherin, "Tell me your true purpose, otherwise..."

Although his words were not fully stated, they were full of threats.

Slytherin did not take Snape's threat seriously at all, and calmly conjured up a beautiful printed sofa behind him and sat down.

"As for this question..." Slytherin sighed in distress, "That would be a long story."

Snape's tone was extremely cold, "Then let's make the story short."

A table appeared in front of Slytherin, along with a pot of tea, a set of exquisite tea sets, and another printed sofa.

Slytherin pointed to the sofa opposite, "Sit down and talk, standing all the time is not the same thing."

Seeing the other person's familiar appearance of treating the basement as his home, Snape stared at the other person with a sullen face for a long time, and finally sat down on the sofa.

But he didn't put down the Elder Wand in his hand, and just put it flat on his knees.

"This matter starts with the break between Godric and I. Do you still remember the reason why I ran away from Hogwarts in the History of Magic textbook?"

As Slytherin spoke, he picked up the teapot in front of him and poured a cup of black tea for himself and Snape each.

Faced with the tea cup that Slytherin pushed from across the table, Snape didn't even have the intention to move.

"We have different ideas." He said in a calm tone.

"Only part of what the textbook says is right," Slytherin said with a slight smile, "It was indeed because of a conflict of ideas that I broke up with Godric and the others."

The next second, he changed the subject, "But the reason for not recruiting Muggle-born students is not some ridiculous reason. It is just a misrepresentation of me by future generations."

Slytherin put down the tea cup in his hand, leaned forward slightly, and stared at Snape closely with a pair of cold-blooded snake eyes.

"The reason why I broke with them is because I set a grand goal——"

He said generously in a voice similar to an aria, "Conquer and enslave all Muggles with absolute force, so that true peace can be brought to the wizarding world!"

"Although wizards and Muggles are both human beings, they are essentially two different levels of existence."

"As long as there are differences in levels between each other, conflicts are inevitable and wars will ensue."

Having said this, Slytherin put down the teacup in his hand and spread his palms helplessly.

"Later, you also saw that during the Middle Ages, the Muggles made a fuss about witch hunts, and later the Salem witch trials..."

"It is impossible for wizards and Muggles to coexist peacefully. They will only fear us because of our magical abilities. It is precisely because of fear that Muggles commit a series of terrible actions against wizards."

Having said this, Slytherin sat back and leaned his back completely on the sofa.

"If Godric and the others could have supported my approach and conquered the Muggles with absolute force, there wouldn't have been so many messy things in the future."

He shook his head helplessly.

"Both Helga and Rowena hope that peace can be achieved through mutual understanding between people. What a foolish idea."

Slytherin's tone suddenly took on a hint of hatred, "With the bad nature of Muggles, such an idealized peace is absolutely impossible to achieve!"

Listening to Slytherin's accusation, Snape's expression did not change at all.

He opened his lips slightly and squeezed out a sentence from between his teeth: "I don't care what you say, I just want to resurrect Lily, and I just hope to be able to resurrect Lily."

Seeing the helpless Snape, Slytherin felt helpless.

He, the ancestor of Slytherin House, has said this. As the current Head of Slytherin, don't you want to express your gratitude?

However, Snape only saw Lily's existence in his eyes now, and he was indifferent to everything else.

"In short," Slytherin knocked on the table in front of him, "You have to know that I am not your enemy. On the contrary, we should be considered partners on the same front."

"By making you the true master of the three Deathly Hallows, you will not only be able to accomplish your goals, but you will also be able to accomplish my original unfinished goals."

Snape's expression, which had been calm from the beginning, finally showed a slight change.

He raised his eyebrows, "So, you want to help me?"

"That's natural." Slytherin didn't care that he failed to occupy a dominant position in the team.

"I only have one condition. After you become the true master of Death and resurrect your beloved woman, you can use your power to help me accomplish my small goal."

Snape did not agree to Slytherin's request and pointed directly in the direction of the exit.

"The door is over there, please walk slowly and don't see me there."

Seeing that Snape didn't want to agree and wanted to use his labor for free, Slytherin scratched his hair in distress.

"Okay," he stood up gracefully, "we will meet again."

As the words fell, Slytherin's figure slowly faded in the air until finally disappearing.

Even with Snape's current perception, he couldn't tell what method he used to leave the basement where he had laid out layers of magic.

After sending away the annoying ghost Salazar Slytherin, Snape once again endured the heartache and sent Lily's soul back to the underworld.

Standing next to the coffin made of crystal, Snape looked at the body cloned from Lily's hair with gentle eyes, and gently stroked her red hair.

"Wait for me, Lily, it won't be long."

After closing the coffin again, Snape stood up, a fierce light flashing in his eyes.

"Sorry, Dumbledore, this is for Lily."

He slowly closed his eyes, stood in the middle of the room and murmured to himself:

"Fourteen years ago, I asked you to protect Lily's life. You made a promise to me, but in the end you failed to do it. Now it's time for you to repay this debt."

Snape stepped out of the basement without hesitation and came to the living room upstairs.

Looking at the body in front of him that originally belonged to Voldemort but has now been turned into an Inferi by him, Snape's eyes revealed an inexplicable brilliance.

The Resurrection Stone appeared in his hand again.

Under Snape's control, the Resurrection Stone communicated with the underworld and continuously infused the dark and gloomy magic power of the underworld into Voldemort's corpse.
