Chapter 59: Where I Haven't Been to Hogwarts

Kyle came out of the principal's office with a satisfied smile on his face.

This trip was not in vain. Not only did he get the Nimbus 2000 he wanted, Dumbledore also found a legendary alchemist for him to be his alchemy mentor.

Originally, all he wanted to do was learn alchemy from Dumbledore.

After all, Dumbledore’s attainments in alchemy are not low. This is how he was introduced on the chocolate frog’s card——

Discovered the twelve uses of dragon's blood, and achieved great results in alchemy with his partner Nicolas Flamel...

But the smile on Kyle's face disappeared when he saw the intricate stairs in front of him.

After coming to Hogwarts for so long, he has never been able to remember which stairs in Hogwarts have to be jumped, and which ones will change direction after they step on them.

Fortunately he doesn't need to climb stairs.

Since he learned the Shock Absorbing Charm, he has another new way of going downstairs - the Leap of Faith.

Kyle stepped on the handrail of the stairs.

Not far away, the trio of saviors who were on their way back to the Gryffindor common room happened to see this horrifying scene: Kyle stood on the handrail of the stairs and jumped down with open arms.

"Kyle!" Hermione screamed and threw herself to the edge of the stairs.

Harry and Ron were also frightened. They rushed to the edge of the stairs and looked down. When they found that they could not see anything, they jumped up and prepared to go find the professor.

Fortunately, George and Fred who were passing by at this time grabbed one of them, preventing them from making the same mistake as last night.

"what happens?"

Hermione's voice was filled with tears, "Kyle jumped off the building!"

George burst out laughing, and Hermione's tearful death gaze immediately glared over fiercely.

Fortunately, Fred explained in time, "That guy always goes down the stairs like this."

George spread his hands, "Ever since he learned the shock-absorbing spell, he has never walked downstairs properly."

Hermione, Harry, Ron:???

Seeing the shock and disbelief on the three people's faces, Fred's expression seemed to say: Are you still a wizard? You don't even know this magic?

"We have also tried that way of going down the stairs. If you are interested, I can take you to try it."

Hermione shook her head like a rattle, "No, no."

She felt that this way of going downstairs could only be used at noon, because something would happen sooner or later.

Only a big-hearted and thick-headed wizard like Kyle, who can describe such a ferocious three-headed dog as adorable and play happily with it, can jump downstairs in such a lunatic way.

When I was doing homework in the library at night, to be precise, Hermione and Hannah were doing homework in other subjects, and then Kyle was copying Hannah's homework on History of Magic and Astronomy.

Because Kyle never took any classes on the history of magic and astronomy.

It's not like Hermione, a good student, has never said anything about Kyle's bad behavior.

However, Hannah, who was plagiarized, didn't care at all, and instead stood with Kyle, the shameless plagiarist.

Hermione had no choice but to deal with these two colluding people, so she stopped caring about them.

Tonight, when Kyle was copying Hannah's homework in a hurry, Hermione kept staring at him with a complicated look.

Is this still a normal person?

Going down the stairs by jumping?

"Is there something on my face?" Kyle, who was copying his homework, stopped the quill in his hand.

"No, no." Hermione held her chin in one hand and tapped the table with her other hand.

"I think we should pay more attention to the practical practice of magic?"

Because of the presence of the librarian, Mrs. Pince, the two could only speak quietly at a very low volume.

Mrs. Pince is a strict, by-the-book librarian at Hogwarts.

She was almost always in the library, guarding her cherished books and monitoring the students who used them.

Mrs. Pince was very strict with students who violated library rules and regulations, asking them about their entry and exit from the library, and also very carefully inspecting every book they checked out for damage.

She cannot tolerate any behavior that violates the rules, including making loud noises in the library.

Hearing Hermione's words, Hannah also closed the Transfiguration textbook in her hand, "Practice?"

"Are you looking for a place where you can practice magic?" Kyle immediately understood what Hermione meant.

Little Beaver nodded, "There are really few places in Hogwarts where we can practice magic in private."

"That's easy. Isn't there an abandoned classroom across from the auditorium?" Hannah asked, tilting her head.

Kyle tapped the quill on the table, "You have to consider that there are only so many time periods that we can use to practice magic in private..."

"When there are no classes on weekdays, after curfew at night, and on weekends." Little Beaver quickly took over Kyle's words.

"The most important thing is the curfew time at Hogwarts."

Kyle spread his hands and said, "If you go to Classroom 11 to practice magic during this period, you are giving away the head of the professor who is watching the night."

Hannah suddenly thought of the scene where she had caused Hufflepuff to be deducted fifty points, and she shook her head violently, her two golden braids shaking violently on the back of her head.

"Then... West Tower?" The little blond loli suggested another location.

Hermione waved her hand, "You and Kyle can use the Disillusionment Charm to sneak past quietly, but I may not be able to survive."

The two of them discussed it over and over again, but couldn't come up with any good location.

Either it's too remote and it's difficult for Hermione, who doesn't know how to cast the Disillusionment Charm, to reach it safely.

Or the space is too small for them to practice magic wantonly.

The two of them looked at Kyle, the veteran who had stayed at Hogwarts for four months longer than them.

Hannah pushed Kyle who was wandering in a daze, "Kyle, why don't you speak?"

Kyle was pushed away like this and immediately came out of his fugue state.

He held his chin in his hand and thought carefully before speaking:

"I have a good place. I can take you there later, and you don't have to worry about being caught by the professor for hanging out after curfew."

But Kyle still didn’t say the second half of the sentence——

In addition to not having to worry about being caught by the professor on night watch, you can also get one-on-one guidance from an old man with a white beard.

This is the kind of treatment only the protagonist of a novel gets!

"Where?" Hermione asked curiously.

Kyle looked up and glanced at the clock on the wall of the library. It was almost time for the library to close.

So he said to Hermione, "You and Hannah go to the corridor on the third floor of the castle, find a gargoyle stone beast, and then say the password 'honey lemonade' to enter the secret room behind the stone beast."

The little beaver, who was deceived and didn't realize it, opened his eyes in disbelief, "Is there such a place in Hogwarts?"

"Of course," Kyle raised his eyebrows proudly.

"I have been to most places in Hogwarts. I dare say that it is definitely the best place for us to practice magic."

Hannah stared at Kyle, "Let's go over there first? Then where are you going?"

Kyle replied while collecting the parchments and textbooks scattered on the table, "I will go back to the dormitory to get my things, and I will meet you soon."

He really had to go back to his dormitory to get something. There was no place in Dumbledore's headmaster's office where they could unleash their magic.

He had to go back and get his Bag End suitcase.

As for the expressions Hannah and Hermione would have when they discovered that the secret room behind the gargoyle turned out to be the office of a former Transfiguration professor and current principal...

Kyle didn't know this, but he knew what his expression should be - Uchiha laughing wildly.jpg.
