Chapter 621 Harry's Defection

After a rather tired look at Harry and Ron, who were covered in scars, Dumbledore turned his attention to another person on the Quidditch pitch.

"Miss Weasley, could you please explain what exactly is going on?"

Ginny stiffened when Dumbledore called her name. For a moment, she didn't know how to explain to Dumbledore.

Should she tell Dumbledore that it was Harry who wanted to defect from the Leaf Village to join Snape, and her brother had a fight with him because he wanted to stop Harry?

Looking at Ginny's stiff limbs, Dumbledore thought for a moment and added another sentence.

"If you don't know where to start, let's start with the traces of the fight on the eighth floor of the castle."

When he said this, a strange light suddenly flashed through Dumbledore's blue pupils hidden behind his half-moon lenses.

Upon hearing Dumbledore's question, Ginny's expression became even stiffer.

After obtaining the answers he wanted from Ginny and Harry lying in her arms through Legilimency, Dumbledore put the wand back into his sleeve.

He sighed a little tiredly, this was indeed something done by his good son.

"Forget it, you don't need to explain, Miss Weasley."

Dumbledore shook his head slightly, driving away the countless thoughts that had arisen in his mind that he wanted to beat Kyle up.

At this moment, a strange feeling of being watched suddenly appeared in Dumbledore's mind.

He turned his head sideways and cast his gaze towards the astronomy tower of the castle in the distance, and as expected, he met a pair of heterochromatic pupils that shone brightly in the dark night.

On the astronomy tower, Kyle, the mastermind behind the scenes, silently withdrew his sight, turned around and walked down the astronomy tower.

Over at the Quidditch pitch, Dumbledore took a look at Ron, who was also lying on the ground with bruises. Dumbledore conjured up a stretcher.

Under the influence of the levitation spell, Ron's body automatically flew up and landed on the stretcher.

"I think that both of them," Dumbledore said to Ginny, "need to go to the school infirmary to receive treatment from Madam Pomfrey."

"Just let me take them to the infirmary, Professor Dumbledore."

Ginny took the initiative to take over the task of maintaining the levitation spell and walked towards Hogwarts Castle with the two stretchers conjured by Dumbledore.

Watching Ginny's figure disappear into the night, Dumbledore once again turned his attention to the direction of the Astronomy Tower.

"Kyle, what on earth do you want to do..."

Dumbledore murmured to himself.

Hogwarts Castle, School Doctor's Office.

There are two lonely hospital beds in the huge school doctor's office, very close to each other.

Harry and Ron, good friends, each occupied one of them.

At this time, the two of them were lying on the hospital bed, facing each other with their backs very proudly, and they both looked like they were not paying attention to each other at all.

Ginny sat beside Harry's bed, looking at the angry Harry and Ron with a rather helpless expression.

While the two of them continued to breathe, Madam Pomfrey came in carrying a tray and placed the two goblets in the tray on the bedside table.

After glancing at the two people who were in a state of exhaustion and had no intention of getting up to drink medicine, Madam Pomfrey's face suddenly became extremely gloomy.

During the recent period, due to the wars that have broken out in various parts of the magic world, Konoha Wizard Hospital has to treat a large number of wizards who have come down from the front line every day.

The workload that suddenly became extremely heavy made Madam Pomfrey lose her good temper.

Although her temper in the past was not very good.

Seeing the looks of Harry and Ron, Madam Pomfrey had no intention of coddling their bad tempers.

She grabbed Ron's chin directly and roughly, and poured the potion in the goblet into him.

Ron's eyes were as wide as goldfish as he was being fed the medicine. He instantly recalled the fear of being fed the blood fusion potion by the fathers in the dark underground chamber.

Soon, a whole cup of potion was consumed, and Ron, who originally only had external injuries on his body, felt that after Madam Pomfrey's rough treatment, he now suffered more serious internal injuries.

In fact, his feeling was completely an illusion.

Due to the layer of protection formed by the magic power of the tailed beast on the body surface, the battle between Harry and Ron seemed quite fierce and cruel.

But in fact, the injuries suffered by the two men were not serious at all.

Because the magic that the two finally released that could determine the outcome was blocked by Dumbledore.

They basically have some skin injuries on their bodies.

With the wizards' physical constitution, even if they did not receive any treatment, they would both be able to fully recover within two or three days.

The potion that Madam Pomfrey prepared for the two of them was mainly to help them sleep peacefully. As for speeding up the recovery of physical injuries, that was just incidental.

Ron feels uncomfortable now, but it's just because after drinking the potion, his body started to feel sleepy under the influence of the potion.

Seeing Ron being poured into the potion so roughly by Madam Pomfrey, Harry suddenly felt bad.

So when Madam Pomfrey turned to him, he obediently picked up the goblet containing the potion on the bedside table.

Putting the potion to his mouth, Harry did not drink it immediately, but lightly smelled the potion.

His brows wrinkled slightly, but relaxed again in an instant.

With Harry's knowledge in Potions, he could tell that it smelled like water of life and death with just a slight sniff.

Although the water of life and death added to the potion has been diluted hundreds or thousands of times.

But with Harry's five senses enhanced by the Kyuubi, he was able to distinguish them immediately.

Harry, who was still thinking about how to escape from Hogwarts Castle and go to carry out the tasks assigned to him by the little devil, immediately thought of a way to escape.

Harry raised his head without hesitation and drank the potion in the cup.

After handing the goblet back to Madam Pomfrey, Harry suddenly pulled the quilt over and lay back down again with his back to Ron.

Using the quilt and his body as cover, Harry reached into his pocket and took out another bottle of potion.

Making sure not to be discovered by Ron and Ginny, he lay on his side in a rather awkward position and poured the potion into his mouth.

Next, Harry remained lying on his side, motionless, as if he was asleep.

He didn't know how long it had passed before Ron's loud snoring came from behind him.

Ginny, who was swept away by the surge of sleepiness, finally couldn't hold her eyelids anymore, put her heavy head on the hospital bed, and fell into a deep sleep.

Harry quietly lifted the quilt and opened the window of the school doctor's room.

The bright moonlight shone on him, casting a long black shadow on the ground.

Turning back and taking a deep look at Ron and Ginny who were sleeping soundly in the school infirmary, Harry had a trace of reluctance in his eyes, but it quickly disappeared.

Taking a deep breath, Harry jumped out of the window.

His figure disappeared into the vast moonlight.

On a tower in Hogwarts Castle, Dumbledore looked at Harry's retreating figure and sighed quietly.
