Chapter 62 Quidditch Selection

Early on the weekend morning, Kyle had just come out of his room to go for a morning jog when he was blocked by Cedric, who had been waiting in the common room for some time.

Cedric held a large wooden crate under his left arm, and dragged a sleepy older brother with his right hand.

Seeing Kyle's curious look, Cedric let go of his right hand with some embarrassment, "This is the captain of our college's Quidditch team, Jack Sparrow."

Because Cedric suddenly let go of his hand, Jack suddenly fell to the ground with a snap, and his face collided closely with the ground, which woke him up from his drowsiness.

Jack, who woke up with a start, opened his eyes with thick dark circles and looked up at Cedric, "What happened? Was there an earthquake?"

Kyle's face twitched. No wonder Hufflepuff's Quidditch team only finished last every year.

With such an unreliable captain, it would be crazy if we can still win the game.

Cedric covered his face in embarrassment, "Jack, did you forget that Kyle will be tested for team entry today?"

It took Jack some time to control his eyes and focus successfully.

After barely waking up, he apologized profusely to Kyle and Cedric.

Looking out the window it was still dark, Kyle was a little confused as to why they had to conduct the Quidditch team entry test so early?

And it was a team-entry test held solely for him?

Cedric quickly answered Kyle's questions.

"There's absolutely no hiding your becoming Hufflepuff's new Beater."

Cedric glanced at the sky outside the castle, which had only a hint of light.

"But if we choose to test you at such a time when no one is around, we can avoid the leakage of information to the greatest extent."

The three of them soon arrived on the Quidditch pitch.

Hundreds of chairs are arranged high in the stands around the stadium so that spectators can see what is happening on the pitch.

There are three golden poles at each end of the court with rings on the top, which are the goals. As long as you can throw the Quaffle into any ring, you will get ten points.

However, compared to the 150 points gained from catching the Golden Snitch, it is still relatively less.

Captain Jack opened the wooden box and revealed four balls of various sizes inside.

"You don't need me to explain the Quidditch ball types to you, do you?"

Cedric took out a wooden bat from the box and handed it to Kyle. It looked a bit like a baseball bat.

Kyle tried to wave the bat in his hand, but it felt a little light.

"Stand back." Jack reminded Kyle. The two shiny black balls were struggling desperately in the box, trying to get rid of the leather straps that bound them.

Cedric bent down and released one of the bludgers. Suddenly, the black ball shot up into the air and hit Kyle directly in the face.

Kyle tilted his head to avoid the Bludger that seemed to break his nose, and hooked Cedric.

"Throw the Quaffle, too."

Cedric glanced at Kyle in surprise, and the Bludger behind him that missed the target and turned around in the air to hit the back of Kyle's head.

"you sure?"

As if there were eyes in the back of his head, Kyle whipped the Bludger away with his backhand, "I'm sure, come on."

Jack picked up the bright red Quaffle, which was almost as big as a football, and threw it into the air.

Kyle held the stick with both hands and stared closely at the Bludger that struck for the third time, while rapidly calculating the trajectories of it and the Quaffle in his mind.

With a bang, the Bludger was knocked out by Kyle again.

The black bludger drew an arc-shaped trajectory in the air.

At the moment when the Quaffle was thrown to the top and started to fall, it accurately hit the Quaffle.

With the crisp sound caused by the collision of the two balls, the movement trajectory of the Quaffle immediately changed.

When they saw the Quaffle pass through the goal, both Cedric and Jack rubbed their eyes in disbelief.

After passing through the goal, the weak Quaffle fell heavily to the lawn below, making a dull sound.

The two of them were still a little confused.

Isn't this ball blinded?

Kyle turned over and sat on the broomstick, "Sed, shall we officially start the test?"

Cedric reacted and looked at Kyle's eyes sparkling, "Didn't you cover the ball just now?"

"You can try a few more times to see if I'm fooled." Kyle said lightly.

Just kidding, this is the shuriken throwing technique learned from Itachi God!

It would be better if the wooden bat in his hand could be replaced by a metal one. Kyle weighed the bat in his hand, so that he would be more comfortable in hitting.

In that case, Kyle felt like he could try any weird-curved bludger.

That would make it difficult for amateur Quidditch players on the opposite side to guard against them.

After watching Kyle easily hit the Quaffle with the Bludgers at various incredible angles and score, the excitement on Cedric and Jack's faces could hardly be suppressed.

Even though the hitting angle was tricky and weird, the power of the Bludger played by Kyle was not something that an ordinary first-year wizard could hit.

Cedric has long known that Kyle has extraordinary physical fitness, but even so...

Cedric had no doubt that the Bludger would make a screaming sound when it flew rapidly. If it hit an opponent's player, it would be instantly shot down, rendering him useless.

What Cedric didn't know was that in addition to his extraordinary physical fitness, Kyle had also secretly activated Thunderbolt Bodybuilding and Strange Strength, two spells that could be cast without a wand.

Time passed bit by bit, and the sun gradually poked its head out from between the mountains.

After taking a look at the sky, it was almost time for the students at Hogwarts to wake up.

Cedric waved to Kyle, who was still flying in the sky, "Hey! Kyle! It's time to go back!"

On the way back to the castle, Jack happily patted Kyle on the shoulder.

"This year's Quidditch Cup will have our names engraved on it, if you can also perform at this level in official games."

Kyle is not worried at all that he will perform abnormally in official games. What he wants to know more now is...

"Ced, I remember that the final winner of the Quidditch Cup was decided based on the cumulative points we got throughout the season, right?"

"Yeah, what's wrong?" Cedric replied casually.

A sinister smile crept onto Kyle's face, "What would happen if we used the Quaffle to score him two or three thousand points in a game?"

"You mean..." Cedric became excited instantly.

Jack immediately understood what Kyle was thinking and quickly said what Kyle wanted to say:

"First use the Bludgers to kill the Seekers on the opposite side to ensure that they cannot capture the Golden Snitch..."

On the way back to the castle, the three main players of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team laughed evilly.

Judging from their appearance, this year's Quidditch Cup should be secure.
