Chapter 219 Maze

Chronos heard Ludo Bagman blow his whistle for the second time. Krum entered the maze. Chronos hurriedly quickened his pace.

The path he was on seemed barren. Chronos walked on, holding his wand high above his head, to see what lay ahead. But he saw nothing.

Ludo Bagman's whistle sounded again. In this way, all the champion players are in the maze.

Chronos kept looking back as he walked. He always felt that something was watching him. Time passed minute by minute, the night became darker and darker, and the maze became darker and darker. Soon he came to the second intersection.

"Show me the way," he whispered to his wand, laying it flat on his palm.

The wand turned once in the palm of the hand, stopped and pointed to the right, the direction into the hedge. The road was going north, so he had to go northwest before he could reach the center of the maze.

All he had to do now was to take the path to the left and then to the right as quickly as possible. The path ahead was still empty. The road was still smooth as Chronos went down to the right.

For some reason, the absence of obstacles disturbed him. Now it looked like the maze was trying to lure him into a false sense of security. Then he heard something moving behind him.

He immediately took out his wand and prepared to fight. He didn't know if Krum was under the control of the Imperius Curse. If he was attacked, there would be no place to cry.

But the light from the wand fell on Fleur just as he was running out of the intersection on the right. Fu Rong was shaking all over, and the sleeves of her clothes were still smoking.

But Kronos still pointed his wand at her, not daring to relax his vigilance at all.

"Furong?" He called out cautiously.

"Of course it's me!" Fleur gave Kronos a blank look in the night, but Kronos couldn't see it.

"You walked so fast! Even though you were the last one to enter the maze, you managed to come to me." Kronos said intermittently.

"I don't know, I just turned a few forks in a row and met a snail. They are huge, and I managed to escape." Fu Rong raised the burnt cuff and gave it to him. Chronos looked.

"That's right." Kronos nodded.

"Fleur," Kronos called.

"Huh?" Fleur looked at Kronos suspiciously, she didn't know why Kronos called her again.

"As you said, this maze is too dangerous. I think a girl like you should get out first!" Kronos said suddenly.

"What?" Furong's pupils narrowed slightly, "Are you looking down on me? Even though I didn't score very high in the first two items, I..."

"Dizzy."

"Ah...." Fleur's painting was knocked down by Kronos' wand before she finished speaking, and she could only let out a cry of panic.

"I'm sorry, Fleur. I'm also doing it for your own good." Kronos never thought that he would do what Krum would do in the original book. But if Krum is not controlled by the Imperius Curse, Chronos must help Harry win.

Chronos picked up Fleur's wand that had fallen on the ground, and sent a red firework into the sky. After a while, Fleur will be taken out of the maze by the professors who dare to come.

He shook his head, then ran another way, and disappeared without a trace after a while. Strange to say, Kronos didn't meet any monsters along the way, maybe they were all afraid of the Snake on Kronos' left wrist!

Left...right...left again...twice he found himself in a dead end. Kronos used the "direction spell" again, and found that he had gone too far east. So he walked back again, turned to the right, and saw a strange golden mist ahead, drifting away.

Chronos walked over curiously, pointing the light from his wand at it. This blob looks a bit like black art.

He wanted to see if he could blow it off with a spell.

"Clearing Curse!" he yelled.

The magic light directly penetrated the monster fog, but the monster fog still remained there. Kronos lowered his head and thought about it. In fact, he should have known that the "clearing spell" can only be used to deal with hard objects. Another thought, what would happen if you walked through the demon fog? But is that worth the risk? Or just go back and forget it?

"Forget it, forget it," Chronos still felt that he should bypass the outlandish thing, in case it was a practical joke spell. He is now far off target.

Nothing happened in the next ten minutes, except for a few dead ends. The second time he turned in the wrong direction again. It was only later that I found a new route and followed it. The wand lamp swayed gently, and the figure of Chronos swayed on the hedge. After turning another corner, I came to the "Fried-tailed Snail".

Fleur was right, the monster was really big, a good ten feet long, and looked like a giant scorpion, with its long sting curling up its back. The thick carapace shone silver in the light of Kronos' wand.

"Damned!"

The magic light hit the monster's carapace and reflected back. Kronos jumped up immediately, but the hair on the top of his head was burnt a little, leaving the smell of burnt hair in the air. The monster then spit out a dragon, which flew towards Harry.

Chronos waved his wand, and a mist of water emanated from his wand, separating him from the Whelk.

"Bones to pieces!" Kronos aimed at the pincers on the snail's body, and there was no pointy armor for defense after taking something.

The monster screamed within inches of him, and Chronos knew he had succeeded.

Chronos took a path on the left, which ended in a dead end; took a path on the right, and came to a dead end again. He had to stop, his heart was beating so hard that it seemed to be beating non-stop with drumsticks.

Kronos looked up at the sky and took a deep breath. This time he was going to take a shortcut.

Kronos leaned close to the wall, and put his left hand on the wall made of short trees and leaves.

Circles of light blue geometric figures began to spread from his palm, and finally the sign of the moon on the magic circle echoed the bright moon in the sky.

Soon the magic circle became as tall as a person, and Kronos directly raised one foot and stepped in. Walking in the space of the magic circle, Kronos' senses seemed to be blocked. He has ears but cannot hear, and has eyes but cannot see.

After walking for a few seconds, when Kronos could see things clearly again, Kronos had already come to the other side of the wall.

Kronos once again used the direction spell. After determining the direction of the trophy, Kronos looked at the thick walls and walked towards the walls as if he had made up his mind.
