Hogwarts Card Drawer

Chapter 26 The Disappearing Magic Array

In the next few days, Kronos followed his usual life, going to class and leaving get out of class. But no matter in the classroom or in the corridor, everyone is chatting and discussing.

For no other reason than the Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff in a few days. This not only determines the outcome of the Quidditch game, but also determines the ownership of this year's Academy Cup.

"Are you really not going with us? Chronos. Today is our first match between Slytherin and Gryffindor!" Malfoy turned back to Chronos before leaving one last time.

"You guys go, it's too cold outside. I still like to stay by the stove." After speaking, Kronos shrank back, showing that he was really afraid of the cold.

"Okay then, see you later." Malfoy waved his hand and left the common room.

Chronos has more important things to do these two days. Although Kronos knew the principle of the magic circle, he didn't understand the making of the magic circle at all. But fortunately, the almighty golden finger gave him the light, as long as Chronos can draw a reading card from thousands of items. He can read any book in the system library.

"Why didn't you tell me in advance?" Kronos questioned the system loudly after knowing it.

"You didn't ask me." I don't know if it was Kronos' illusion, but he had a feeling of being ridiculed.

Then he asked the godfather Horace for 50 Galleons for the reason that Professor Snape gave him a small talk, and he took 20 Galleons from Malfoy plus his remaining 30 Galleons. Finally got enough 100 Gold Galleons to exchange for one lottery draw.

Kronos took a deep breath, opened the bottle of Felix elixir hanging around his neck and drank it in one gulp. He didn't forget to fill the bottle with water and hang it around his neck again. Otherwise, with Snape's personality, if he saw that Chronos used Felicia, he would definitely ask him.

Kronos' face was very red at the moment, and he didn't know whether it was because he was too close to the stove or because he was nervous. Kronos took a few deep breaths before calming down his beating heart.

"Come on! Baby, let's get into the soul!" Kronos fell in love with the eyes, and silently said the word "drawing" in his heart.

Countless cards emerged in Kronos' mind, and they began to scramble, cross, rotate...rotate...rotate...

The last card appeared in front of Kronos, and Kronos followed the texture of the card to look at the text below.

"Congratulations to the host, you have obtained an arbitrary reading card."

"Huh! I won the draw." Kronos was not as excited as he imagined, but instead collapsed on the sofa as if he had been relieved.

"System, open the book interface. I want the method of making the magic circle." After a while, Kronos gave the order in his heart.

"Ding! Calling out books, please wait." The system's voice rang in my ears.

"Brush, brush, brush, brush!" Books of books appeared in front of Kronos' eyes, each of them exuded a golden color, waiting for Kronos to choose.

"System, this book has eight thousand instead of ten thousand. How do you tell me to find it?" Kronos looked back, and there were so many bookshelves that he couldn't see the edge at a glance.

"Host, you can enter keywords here to search." A golden frame appeared in front of Kronos out of thin air.

"Just say the key words, right?" Kronos asked rhetorically.

There is no sound, the system is obviously not willing to talk to him.

Kronos rolled his eyes, "Enter the keyword (magic circle)."

There was another swishing sound, and countless books disappeared in front of Kronos. In the end there was only one bookshelf left.

"That's still a lot!" Kronos looked at the dozens of books on the bookshelf.

"Enter keywords (basic principles and production methods of all magic circles).

This time he narrowed his search.

"Wow!" This time there is only one book left, but this book is so thick that it is scary. A full twenty inches thick.

On the cover made of cowhide, there are several gilded book titles—"The Lost Magic Circle"

"That's it, the system."

"Ding, any book reading card has been used. The magic book "The Disappearing Magic Circle" has been placed in the warehouse. The host can read it through meditation."

With a sound of "Ding!", Kronos' consciousness has returned to the real world. The fire next to it had been extinguished, and there were successive footsteps outside.

"It seems that the Quidditch match is also over." Kronos got up and prepared to go back to bed and read the newly arrived books.

As soon as Kronos turned his head, he heard a burst of wailing.

"It's Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle." Chronos turned to find them helping each other into the common room.

Malfoy's aristocratic aura of the past has long since disappeared, and his originally meticulously combed hair has now been pulled into the shape of a chicken coop. Crabbe and Gore in the back were even worse. One of them was beaten around the left eye and the other had an extra layer of tooth marks on the right hand.

"Did you fight?" Kronos stepped forward and asked.

"Of course!" Malfoy's chest was very high, and he was very proud.

"Who did you fight with?"

"Poor Weasley and that idiot Longbottom, of course."

"No more?" Kronos asked in disbelief.

"No more!" Malfoy repeated Chronos' words.

"Malfoy, I really don't know what you think. You haven't won three against two, how dare you hold your chest up so high?" Kronos poked Malfoy with his finger .

"Of course it is..." Malfoy wanted to explain, but was interrupted by Kronos raising his hand.

"Okay, Malfoy! Don't mess with them any more during this time, I need them to help me with something."

"What can they do for you?" Malfoy was puzzled.

"Okay, don't ask so many questions. Just listen to me. How come we have been friends for so long, have I ever lied to you?" Kronos smoothed Malfoy's hair with his hands.

Malfoy shook his head.

"That's fine, stay away from them as soon as possible. Unless you want to be expelled from Hogwarts like them." After saying this, Kronos turned his head and went upstairs.

"Don't tell Malfoy, he's really dishonest. In the end, it's just a child's nature." Kronos lay on the bed and shook his head, then closed his eyes and began to read "The Disappearing Magic Circle".
