Hogwarts Card Drawer

Chapter 48 Voldemort's Diary

On Tuesday morning, there was still more than a week before Hogwarts started. Chronos drew some basic level 2 magic circles in his room every morning during the few vacations. After the first experience with this thing, the rest is always so handy. In the afternoon, Chronos would play wizard chess with Draco, and occasionally ride on a broomstick to practice the game of catching golden snitches.

Draco's flying skills are indeed very powerful, at least Chronos has never caught the golden snitch. "This year I must join the Slytherin Quidditch team and beat Harry Potter head-on." Chronos heard these words from Draco countless times.

As for the sound of Mr. Lucius being busy in the shop in Diagon Alley these days, Chronos felt that the feeling of throwing his hands away and being the shopkeeper was not very good.

It's just that he seemed very angry this morning. "Damn Arthur, he has a lot of enchanted Muggle items in his house. I'm going to kick him out of the Ministry of Magic sooner or later." Chronos heard Lucius curse softly.

"Arthur, the father of those Weasley guys. He has red hair and freckles all over his face." Draco leaned closer to Chronos' ear and explained to him.

"Yeah." Kronos nodded.

"His father works in the Ministry of Magic's Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office, and has been confiscating things related to the dark arts recently." Draco didn't care at all when he said the black arts, and seemed to be a little proud. "You know, which wizarding family with a long history doesn't have a few dark magic items handed down?"

"Draco." Narcissa yelled at Draco, then smiled and added a piece of bacon to Kronos' bowl.

"Thank you, Aunt Narcissa." Kronos smiled. Draco's mother was so kind to him that she always took care of him several times during a meal.

"Children, how about breakfast?" Lucius who came down from upstairs looked at Draco and Chronos with a smile on his face.

"Very good, Uncle Lucius."

"I think the bacon and the test room are too salty, Dad."

Kronos praised against his will. Then he smiled and took a big bite, even though he was about to vomit in his heart.

Lucius came down and patted Draco's head, then looked at Chronos and said, "Eat more if you like, sorry I have to go to the secret room, I won't be able to have a delicious breakfast today."

After speaking, Lucius went to the secret room. There was a basement under the living room of Draco's house. During Voldemort's conquest of the castle, it was used to imprison those who opposed him, but now it is used to hold items with dark magic.

"Damn Weasley." Draco muttered aside.

Kronos rolled his eyes, "Your father was once Voldemort's number one younger brother, don't you know?"

Chronos looked at the study that Lucius entered just now, thinking that he should have taken out the diary as well.

A part of Voldemort's soul (a Horcrux) is attached to this diary, and Voldemort gave the diary to Lucius for safekeeping when he was still alive. Lucius was Voldemort's servant before his downfall, and a Death Eater. Of course, Voldemort's character is distrustful of others. He didn't tell Lucius what the diary was, but asked him to keep it. After the downfall of Voldemort, when Harry was in the second grade, it happened that Ron's father was promoted in the Ministry of Magic. During that time, Ron's father always raided items related to black magic. Lucius was afraid, so he Wanting to get rid of the relationship with Voldemort as soon as possible, by chance, he took the opportunity to throw it to Ginny, which eventually led to the destruction of the diary (Horcrux), and became the original reason why the Malfoy family was neglected by Voldemort.

"It's all such a coincidence." Kronos took a sip of the hot milk passed by Draco's mother.

"Yes, Scott. Chronos." Draco was the first to spot it.

Scott is an owl of the Malfoy family,

It was standing at the door with two envelopes bearing the Hogwarts school badge in its mouth. Narcissa walked over and touched its head, then took the two letters in its mouth.

"It's Hogwarts' new book list for this school year." Narcissa opened the letter with his son's name on it. "Cronos, your letter is also here, Dumbledore knows you are here."

"Thank you, Aunt Narcissa." Kronos took the letter. When he was at Horace's house a month ago, Dumbledore had written to him, asking if he needed books for the students in the magic circle class. Kronos' reply was also very simple, "I will compile the teaching materials myself." Then he was handed over to Toothless Boy. It has to be said that Ye Furan flew extremely fast, and Toothless Boy flew back at noon. It's just that the little guy is too lazy to work without giving him enough food.

Chronos opened the envelope, and the letter from Chronos told him to still take the Hogwarts Express from King's Cross Station on September 1st. The letter also listed his new book list for this year:

Standard Curriculum of Charms (Level 2)" Miranda.

Goss Walker's "How to Deal with Banshees" by Gilderoy Lockhart

Walking with Corpse Eaters by Gilderoy Lockhart

A Holiday with a Witch by Gilderoy Lockhart

A Journey with Giants by Gilderoy Lockhart

Voyages with Vampires by Gilderoy Lockhart

A Walk with Werewolf by Gilderoy Lockhart

Days with the Snowman by Gilderoy Lockhart

"Who is this Gilderoy Lockhart? Why do we buy so many books from him?" Draco frowned aside.

"Hmph! A thief who has nothing but plagiarism." Lucius had already come out of the basement, and Chronos could still hear his coat pocket jingling every time he took a step. Crash. "Dumbledore hired him as a professor, and Hogwarts is over. I think it is necessary for me to speak to the school trustees about this and let him leave Hogwarts."

"And make Professor Snape the Headmaster, Dad," Draco added from the sidelines.

"Children, are you ready?" Lucius came over and put his hands on Chronos and Draco's shoulders. "You can go to Diagon Alley with me and buy these books."

"Of course, Uncle Lucius." Chronos agreed immediately, his eyes fixed on Lucius' pocket. Kronos is not a person who sits and waits to die. Now that he knows the cause of the tragedy, Kronos intends to kill it from the beginning.
