Hogwarts Emerald

Chapter 643 Harry and Dundodo

In the next few days, Bill and Lupine recovered Mad-Eye's body, and the Order members collectively held a simple funeral for the hero. However, the sadness and shock of losing Moody still lingered in the Burrow.

The Ministry of Magic had Moody's name engraved on the monument, just below Dumbledore's. The Daily Prophet also published an obituary to mourn the tragic passing of this heroic Auror.

As more and more people die and go missing, the situation in the magical world goes from bad to worse. People are afraid of Voldemort and Death Eaters, for fear that one day it will be their turn to have their families destroyed.

Even in the Ministry, terrible rumors spread everywhere and were repeatedly suppressed. More and more people are resigning. They really don't want to be at the forefront of resisting Voldemort.

A lamb is just a lamb after all and can never transform into a pride of lions. Once the situation is unfavorable, they will turn into docile sheep again, just crying and waiting for others to save them.

It was under such a bad situation that the Burrow celebrated Harry Potter's seventeenth birthday.

From this day on, Harry became an adult and was no longer a child, although the burden on his shoulders was no longer what a child should bear.

Early in the morning, Harry received many gifts. The Weasleys gave him a gold watch that once belonged to Fabian Prewett. There are also Hermione's new looking glass, magic razors prepared by Bill and Fleur, chocolates from the Delacours, joke merchandise from the twins, and more.

The worst gift among them was Ron's gift, "Twelve Tips for Bewitching Witches", a love secret book. If you have time to read secret books, it is better to improve the emotional intelligence of the two of them, and they will not be single for that long.

The best gift is naturally Ginny's. A lover's kiss is the greatest comfort at this difficult time.

Although they have "broken up" peacefully for several days.

At noon, Ada came to the Burrow under a sun that was even more scorching than Voldemort's. She prepared a unique birthday gift for Harry and brought Dumbledore's will.

At this time, Harry, Ron, and Hermione were staying in their room to pack their things. In two days, Ron's bedroom would become Bill's wedding room. Poor little Ronnie, his status at the Burrow was probably equal to that of the old ghoul.

"You dumped her, what do you want to do now, seduce her?" Ron said. He may have the talent of lighting up the light bulb. He was the only one in the Burrow who happened to see Ginny and Harry kissing.

"I didn't seduce her," Harry said. Hermione was at a loss for a moment and wanted to help, but she didn't know whose position she should stand in.

Ron raised a hand to silence them. He said: "When you proposed a clean break, her heart was broken——"

Before Ron could finish venting his anger on his sister, the bedroom door was suddenly pushed open. Ron turned his head and saw Ada in a white dress. The emerald necklace made her skin whiter and more delicate.

"I can hear you talking loudly from a distance, Ron, you still haven't learned to speak quietly." Ada said, and then changed the subject, "But this time I am on your side."

As he spoke, he pulled Harry away. Ada sat on the bed with her handbag on her side. Harry, Ron and Hermione were sitting on the same bed.

Hermione felt that Ada was not here for Ginny's sake; Ron's face was beaming, wishing that Ada could teach Harry a lesson; and Harry, Harry's left side of his face and calf ached...

With a snap of his fingers, the bedroom door closed automatically.

Ada then said: "If you are doing it for her own good, you should not provoke her at the end of the school year, Harry. However, I am not here for this matter today, and I don't want to get involved in the relationship between you two."

Hermione was overjoyed, she thought she had guessed it right; Ron no longer had eyebrows on his face, and punched Harry's thigh hatefully; Harry's left side of face and calf no longer hurt, but his thigh and chest felt twitching. One pump.

Opening her handbag, Ada pulled out a roll of parchment and a small drawstring bag. She said: "This is Dumbledore's will. He left something to you three."

With that said, Ada handed the parchment and drawstring pouch to the three of them and let them read it themselves. She didn't bother to read Dumbledore's will. Besides, Ada had already read the will.

Dumbledore left the Deluminator to Ron, a copy of "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" to Hermione, and Harry the Golden Snitch he caught when he first appeared.

The three little heads leaned in front of the parchment, read the contents on it loudly, and assigned three relics to themselves.

The deluminator, which looks like a silver lighter, can absorb the light beam with just a flick; the somewhat worn but meaningful storybook; and the Golden Snitch with physical memory, which only Harry can open.

At the end of the summer vacation, Ada once ransacked the principal's office, trying to find the Resurrection Stone in Dumbledore's hand. Professor McGonagall turned a blind eye to her behavior, while Dumbledore looked at her quietly in the portrait frame.

In the end, Ada found nothing but the will.

"Dumbledore...why would he leave something for us?" Ron asked in confusion. He had received the gift without even speaking to the principal. Apart from Harry, Ron could not think of any other possibility. .

"Do you really want to know? I can send you to see him." Ada said, "It's not a big deal."

As soon as the words fell, Ron shrank behind the two friends, shaking his head like a rattle. Apparently Ron misunderstood Ada's meaning, and he didn't expect to ask about Dumbledore's portrait.

After realizing that Ada was joking, Ron lowered his head in embarrassment and kept fiddling with the Deluminator in his hand.

Hermione also lowered her head. She was flipping through "The Tales of Beedle the Bard". The Golden Snitch spread its wings in Harry's hands without revealing the secret inside.

"Harry, can you lend me your invisibility cloak?" Ada asked, "I'm somewhat interested in it."

Harry nodded numbly as he studied the Golden Snitch in his hand. He dragged out his luggage and after rummaging for a while, he found the ancestral invisibility cloak and handed it to Ada.

It was a piece of silvery fabric that felt like it was woven with water. The feel alone was not comparable to the mass-produced goods outside.

"The Golden Snitch." Ada said as she stretched out her hand.

Harry nodded dully, placed the Golden Snitch in Ada's hand, and sat back.

Hermione and her two flaws stared blankly at Ada, wondering what she was playing at. Harry's ancestral invisibility cloak and the golden snitch Harry caught for the first time. Do these two things have any secrets?

【Ding! Hidden mission: The treasure of the three Peverell brothers has been completed, and the rewards have been distributed and are waiting to be claimed. 】

The task that has been posted for a long time is completed. It is much easier than expected. You only need to hold it at the same time, rather than having to keep it as your own.

After Ada won the Elder Wand from Dumbledore, one-third of the task was completed; when she found Dumbledore's will and got the Golden Snitch in her hand, two-thirds of the task was completed.

Today, after borrowing Harry's invisibility cloak, Ada had finally collected three Deathly Hallows and completed the system's hidden mission.

It was really done too hastily. Even after seeing the rewards from the system, Ada still felt like she was dreaming.

"Ada, is there something wrong with these two things?"

Ada, who had fallen into a daze, was awakened by Hermione's voice. She first returned the Invisibility Cloak and the Snitch to Harry, and then said: "No problem, I'm just trying to think about the problem from Dumbledore's perspective."

"In addition, Harry, you have to keep one thing in mind. The Invisibility Cloak is a treasure left to you by your father. It is unique. Don't lose it again." Ada continued, "And this Snitch, although I don't know Dumbledore Why should I leave it to you, but there is also a treasure hidden in it. It may be crucial to you."

Hearing this, Harry carefully observed the Snitch in his hand. There was nothing on the smooth golden ball. Harry didn't know how to start, let alone take out the treasure inside.

"Okay, now that we've finished talking about business, it's time to talk about private matters." Ada stood up and said, "Let's go, Harry, I'll take you to see the gift I prepared."

With that said, Ada walked out.
