Hogwarts Homecoming

Chapter 1115 Judgment Day (Part 2)

Harry and the other two looked towards the center of the courtroom.

In the center of the room were three handrails with chains wrapped around them. After Fudge's voice, the locks of the chains suddenly rose up and swayed in the air like venomous snakes.

Harry heard Hermione scream again, but he did not turn around. He just dragged his heavy steps and walked over step by step, still thinking about the indifference shown by Professor Dumbledore and Professor Braine.

Fortunately, when the three of them sat down, the chains only made a dangerous ding-dong sound, but did not tie them up.

The angle at which the three of them were located was just facing Professor Dumbledore and Professor Braine on the stool in the front. Hermione and Ron also looked over like praying, but the two were still talking about something.

Dumbledore glanced at the Dementor above his head obscurely, and then looked at Amostar, who just blinked and shook his head meaninglessly.

Harry gave up trying to get some enlightenment from the two professors. He looked up at the Minister of Magic on the podium.

Cornelius Fudge was a fat man who usually wore a dark yellow-green bowler hat, but today he didn't wear it.

Harry could no longer find the kind and benevolent smile on his face when he found himself after he inflated his aunt two years ago. There was only a terrifying coldness.

Ms. Amelia Bones, who had just argued with Fudge, was sitting next to Fudge. She wore a pair of monocles, and her expression was equally terrifying under the light and shadow.

Fudge winked at a person in the shadow, and then the person walked out of the shadow.

Harry was shocked to find that the Auror who was walking towards him with a wand was Dawlish who tried to take him away from the Dursleys.

Dawlish still had a thick bandage wrapped around his head. He came to the back of the three stone chairs, standing behind Harry as if he was guarding a prisoner, and cast a hateful look at Amosta, who was in the front.

For the first time, Amosta pointed his eyes in the direction of Harry. He jumped over Harry's head and glanced at Dawlish indifferently. Then, he slightly turned sideways and looked calmly at Fudge on the trial stand.

"Then, let's begin--"

Fudge's eyes swept across the members of the Wizengamot Trial Committee, and he said in a loud voice,

"July 20th trial, the trial of Harry James Potter, Ronald Bilius Weasley, and Hermione Jane Granger for violating the "Reasonable Restraint of Underage Wizards Act" and the "International Statute of Secrecy."

Fudge leaned slightly, and the shadow cast by the seat in front of his huge body became hideous,

"Interrogator: Cornelius Oswald Fudge, Minister of Magic; Amelia Susan Bones, Director of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement; Dolores Jane Umbridge, Senior Deputy Minister--"

"Witness for the defense: Amosta Blaine."

Under the surprised eyes of Harry and the others, Amosta stood up, strode to the three chairs in the center of the courtroom, ignored Dawlish's hidden fear, and came to Hermione on the far left.

The members of the Wizengamot were whispering to each other, secretly pointing at him, and some looked at Dumbledore who was sitting there calmly.

Amos Tower ignored those pointing eyes, and only Fudge's crimson face was reflected in his light purple eyes.

"Very good--"

Fudge took a deep breath and squeezed out a voice from his teeth.

"Then let's start. Now it's the accusation."

Fudge took out a piece of parchment from his arms, and he moved his glasses on the bridge of his nose.

"The charges brought by the Ministry of Magic are: All three defendants violated Article 13 of the International Confederation of Wizards' Statute of Secrecy and the Law on Reasonable Restraint of Minor Wizards. Among them, Harry James Potter's illegal behavior was serious and directly led to the death of a Muggle."

Fudge's eyes jumped over the edge of the parchment and fell on the three young wizards with confused faces.

"What do you have to defend against the charges brought by the Ministry of Magic against you?"

Defense?

Harry felt absurd. So far, the Ministry of Magic has not explained what he had done.

Not only the three young wizards on trial were puzzled by this, but many of the jurors of the Wizengamot also frowned.

Ms. Bones glanced at the parchment in Fudge's hand, moved her monocle, and did not speak for the time being.

"We don't know"

Ron's voice trembled violently. He looked up at the Minister of Magic, his face pale without a trace of blood.

"We don't know what we did."

"That is to say!"

Fudge looked stern.

"You three are not going to plead guilty?"

This question is really problematic. The courtroom was buzzing with whispers.

Ding--

It was not Cornelius Fudge who maintained order.

Amosta raised the hand that was holding the armrest of the stone chair where Hermione was sitting, and flicked the protruding chain with his fingers. The crisp sound immediately overwhelmed the buzzing, and Dawlish, who was a few steps away, immediately raised his wand nervously, alerting Amosta.

"I think many people have noticed--"

Amosta said gently,

"The minister himself is trying to use some ambiguous words to put some false charges on three innocent students."

"Oh, false charges?"

Umbridge stood up behind Fudge. She smirked and stared at Amosta with two round eyes full of indifference.

"I think I must have misunderstood you, Professor Brain. You seemed to be implying just now that the Ministry of Magic was framing these three students?"

Amosta walked out from the side of Hermione's chair and stood in front of the three children facing the Wizengamot Inquisition.

Although Amosta still had a gentle expression, many members of the Wizengamot who faced him shrank back slightly, and some even winked at Dumbledore's back.

"I believe-"

Amosta ignored Umbridge and looked at Fudge's sinister face.

"Wizards and wizards, including those of the Wizengamot, believe that the Ministry of Magic's prosecution of Harry James Potter, Ronald Biles Weasley and Hermione Jane Granger is based on Is there some real evidence?"

"Of course the Ministry has evidence, Blaine."

Fudge's booming voice sounded triumphant.

He never expected to convict the three students in a vague way, he was just glaring at Blaine or Dumbledore to question.

"The three defendants--"

After giving Blaine a contemptuous and ferocious smile, Fudge's expression suddenly changed, becoming stern and inviolable.

"Do you admit that you purchased goods from Honeydukes Candy Shop in Hogsmeade Village on January 27th of this year?"

Buzz!

Honeydukes Candy Shop. What does this case have to do with?

The buzzing started to boil again, and Dumbledore, who was in the front row with his head down in thought, frowned slightly.

The panicked expressions of the three Harrys became dull after this question. Harry and Ron's eyes were confused, while Hermione was thinking hard.

"Do the three defendants admit it?"

Fudge's voice came over again, and Harry blurted out,

"Sorry. I can't remember. Bee Duke Candy Shop--"

Harry gasped a few times,

"We've been there many times. Every time Hogsmeade is open to students, many students have been there, but we can't remember"

"Hey, can't you remember?"

Fudge smiled coldly. He looked at the indifferent Amosta provocatively.

"I have evidence here to prove it. So, Delis?"

The Deluxe behind Harry's chair immediately puffed up his chest and a blush appeared on his cheeks.

Under everyone's gaze, he rushed out of the courtroom at a speed of 100 meters, and two minutes later, he walked in panting, and behind him, followed a broad, bald young man.

Wow!

The chairs and stools moved, and the jury members stood up one after another. They all stretched their necks and looked at the man who walked in. Harry, Ron, and Hermione were also staring at this so-called witness from the Ministry of Magic in surprise!

"What is the identity of the witness?"

Ms. Bones asked solemnly.

"Members of the Wizengamot, ministers, and more."

The sweaty young bald man stood tremblingly next to Amosta. He didn't dare to look at Amosta at all. He didn't dare to look at Albus Dumbledore, who had a serious look on his face. He just shrunk. Hold your head,

"I am Ambrosio Froome, the owner of Honeydukes Candy Shop in Hogsmeade."
