Now it was Harry's turn to show surprise at what Hermione had thrown.

Within one day, the residences of a Hogwarts vice-principal and two students were burgled, and the items lost seemed to be somewhat related to each other.

Judging from the look on Professor McGonagall's face, she was more worried than angry about the students from her college being involved in the case.

"You suspect... someone stole the dagger and Miss Granger's elixir, and used these two things to open Amosta's office."

Judging from the tone, Professor McGonagall seemed to be asking Harry, but she was facing Amosta when she said this, with a suspicious look on her face.

"I went to see the Fat Lady's portrait and asked if anyone suspicious had broken into the Gryffindor common room today.
