Hogwarts Homecoming

Chapter 1303 Everything is fine

Amosta stood in front of Tonks's parents' house, the house where Remus and Tonks would live, looking at it.

Most of the plants planted in the garden to the right of the house have withered due to the season, except for a few fluttering shrubs that lack pruning and remain green as usual.

The shed on the right side of the house should contain some farm machinery that belonged to Tonks' Muggle-born father, Ted Tonks.

In addition, the broom shed is also located in the shed.

Remus and Tonks were ready.

A huge white tent with fringed lace has been set up on the wide field in front of the house.

Each of the metal pillars holding up the tent was lined with beautiful flower baskets, and the pillars themselves were wrapped with gold and white flowers.

In the tent, a long purple carpet was laid all the way to the entrance of the house, and seating charts had been posted behind rows of delicate and delicate golden chairs.

Amosta walked past a tent with a string of golden balloons tied to the top and slowly approached the house.

In the old house shrouded in bright lights, laughter as clear as silver bells came out.

A smile broke out on Amosta's lips, he walked over and knocked on the door.

Du, du, du—

The laughter in the room suddenly disappeared, and Amosta heard panicked footsteps and the sound of chairs being knocked over, and there were at least seven or eight wands pointed at him.

"Who is it!"

Through the door, Amosta could feel Remus's determination to face death, which made him laugh.

"It's not Voldemort after all--"

Amosta said,

"When he comes to visit, he shouldn't knock on the door."

After a few seconds of silence, rapid footsteps were heard from behind the door, and the back door was opened with force, revealing Remus' surprised face.

"Amosta!"

Just by the strange ripples that always appeared in his heart when he stared at Amosta's lavender eyes, Remus immediately confirmed that it was not a fake, and Amosta was still holding a handwritten note in his hand!

"I didn't expect you to come early, Amosta!"

Remus opened the door completely and hugged Amosta. The smile on his face made him look ten years younger.

"The guests haven't arrived yet, I thought you would come with Sirius and Alastor. I mean, the preparatory meeting of the International Federation of Wizards, they are responsible for protecting Minister Bones-"

"Hope will take care of it-"

Amosta said with a smile,

"After all, this is the first wedding I have attended in my life. I thought I should be cautious, so I came early——"

Remus welcomed Amosta into the house.

Remus said none of the guests came, but there were plenty of people in the house.

In addition to Tonks and his parents, Amelia was also here.

His aunt, who was a few years younger than him, was wearing a light blue dress with bare shoulders and silk gauze, and high heels embellished with diamonds.

She, who looks as good as him, seems to be here as a bridesmaid.

And she was one of the two most eye-catching girls in the house.

The other one is Fleur Delacour.

Amosta, whose eyes fell on Fleur, was in a trance for a moment.

Needless to say, Fleur was stunning in appearance. What surprised Amosta was the clothes Fleur was wearing.

It was a very beautiful white silk dress. The exquisite tailoring showed elegance, nobility and holiness, and this dress--

It was the same one Fleur wore to last year's Yule Ball.

At the moment when their eyes interacted, Amosta keenly caught the sly smile flashing in Fleur's blue eyes and the pride on her beautiful lips.

She also saw a hint of surprise in Amosta's expression.

Both of them knew that Amosta had bought the dress.

So

Percy and his girlfriend Crevat were also here, followed by Mrs. Weasley and Bill Weasley, who had his trousers in his pockets and looked carefree.

But Charlie wasn't there, he was probably still studying fire dragons in Romania and didn't have time to come back.

Amosta finally looked at the bride for tomorrow's wedding, Tonks, whom he had a somewhat personal relationship with when they were studying at Hogwarts.

Tonks, who had given herself bright pink hair, was dressed the most plainly among the girls in the room.

I just put on a loose-fitting Maillard-colored woolen sweater and casual jeans.

However, no one can ignore the happy smile on her face.

Everyone was surprised by Amosta's appearance, and Percy seemed to want to rush up and give Amosta a hug, but Penelo held him back.

"What did I interrupt?"

Amosta asked with a smile.

"We are rehearsing for tomorrow's wedding."

Remus touched his hair, looking a little embarrassed and helpless.

"But I've never been able to convince Tonks to wear a wedding dress—"

"Oh, that's not my style, Remus."

Tonks tilted her head, with a strange smile in her face. She looked at Amosta, blinked, and suddenly clapped her hands.

"Oh, you came just in time, Amosta, we still need a best man for the rehearsal!"

Remus was stunned for two seconds, and then his expression became cheerful.

"Yes, that's it!"

He turned to look happily at Amosta, who was wrinkling his eyebrows.

"Maybe you should take on your responsibilities as a godfather in advance, Amosta!"

"That's a good idea!"

The people in the room seemed to reach a consensus immediately. Amelia trotted over and took Amosta's arm without any explanation. Before that, she lacked such courage.

Even though they tried their best to put on a majestic face, Amelia and Tonks still pushed him into the bedroom.

"I think you should cheer me on, don't you, Amosta?"

Tonks said with a smile,

"After all, I was imprisoned in Severus's house with you back then!"

Amosta resisted the urge to roll his eyes and pursed his lips.

"Mom and dad are always asking me, do you have a girlfriend, Amosta--"

Amelia said,

"I can ask Fleur to take a photo with you and send it to them. Mom and dad will be very happy when they see it!"

"So, you and Fleur are good friends now?"

Amosta smiled warmly and shook his head. He took out his wand and pointed at his coat. A ripple spread out, and the navy blue dress placed in the suitcase was put on his body.

"Didn't I write to tell you?"

Amelia pretended to be surprised, then she laughed first and looked at Tonks,

"We need to get his hair done, Tonks."

So, Tonks pressed Amosta in front of the dressing mirror, and the two girls began to play with it, making all his naturally soft gray hair stand out.

But judging from the results, it's still pretty good.

"I heard Remus sent you to Asia?"

When Amosta actually raised his arm gracefully and let Fleur take it, Fleur, who had always been unrestrained, became a little nervous.

She didn't fiddle with her hair as boldly as before. Instead, she held her fingers and gently lifted up the hair that was scattered on her temples, shining brightly under the light, and nodded.

"Remus asked me to go over there and develop the market--"

"How's it going there?"

Amosta became more interested and asked curiously,

"Oh, how should I put it? The wizarding world over there is more closed than many countries in Europe, but the Muggle world is very dynamic-"

Fleur curled her hair with one finger and said thoughtfully,

"Generally speaking, girls over there are more shy. I was thinking, maybe you like this style, like that Vitia Cliona?" (End of Chapter)
