Hogwarts Homecoming

Chapter 1318: Sleepless

"It has nothing to do with us?"

The three Harrys looked at each other and saw the surprise in each other's eyes.

What is completely incompatible with their tall bodies is the timid character of Crabbe and Goyle.

Since Malfoy didn't support them, Crabbe and Goyle had been very honest. In recent years, apart from bullying the freshmen in Slytherin, I didn't hear them getting into any trouble.

Pfft——

Looking at Crabbe with a sullen face, Ron couldn't help but sneer. He took a step forward, raised a finger and tapped Crabbe's chest.

"I think you have forgotten that I am a prefect, and you are wandering around the castle when the lights are turned off--"

Harry saw Crabbe's swollen face darken at a speed visible to the naked eye.

"So, you'd better give me an explanation, otherwise, I'll tell Snape and ask him to put you in confinement!"

Ron continued to threaten.

"Without your trouble, Mr. Weasley—"

A gloomy voice suddenly came from the dark corridor on the third floor, startling the four people at the corner of the stairs.

They quickly looked towards the corridor and saw Snape, with his sallow face floating out of the shadows like a ghost.

He crossed his arms and looked at the three Harrys with careful eyes.

Harry and Neville didn't have any expressions on their faces, they just screamed inwardly that it was bad, while Ron, who knew he had offended Snape, bit his lips and had nowhere to put his hands.

In the silence, Professor Snape raised the corner of his mouth with a sarcastic smile.

"So... Potter, Longbottom, you have also won for yourselves the right to wander around the castle in the middle of the night?"

It's irrational to offend Snape now, they have more important things to do!

Harry could only tell himself desperately in order to resist the urge to retort.

"Harry and Neville are helping me"

Ron said bravely.

"lie!"

Snape scolded him coldly, but out of the corner of his eye he caught a glimpse of Crabbe's smile.

"What are you doing here, Crabbe?"

Snape slowly turned his head, and the diffuse light of his dark pupils enveloped Crabbe, who seemed not worried at all.

"I'm not feeling well, Professor Snape--"

Crabbe sniffed sharply, his voice indeed sounded muffled.

"I have a cold. I want to go to the school hospital to see Madam Pomfrey for some refreshing medicine."

Crabbe said calmly.

Harry had a strange feeling in his heart, and he always felt that something was wrong.

The four students who looked at Snape's gloomy face all noticed the hesitation flashing in Snape's black hole eyes.

"Then go ahead, Crabbe--"

After a while, Snape seemed to have lost interest in Crabbe and waved his hand in disinterest.

"As for you--"

Snape's light and cold voice drew the eyes of the three Gryffindor boys back from Crabbe's leaving back.

"Potter and Longbottom, each will be deducted ten points, plus a week of confinement--"

Snape seemed much more comfortable issuing fines to Gryffindor students.

"Weasley, you have been deducted twenty points because you protected two people who violated school rules and were disrespectful to the professor. I will tell Minerva what happened tonight, now."

Snape's tone paused inexplicably,

"Go back to where you belong."

When Snape slipped into the darkness like a ghost again and confirmed that he was gone, Ron immediately jumped up and shouted angrily,

"I didn't say anything, didn't I? Oh, you don't respect the professor, he doesn't teach me potions anymore, who cares!"

"Don't waste time, Ron, we must go to Filch's now!"

As the entire Gryffindor House, Harry and Neville, who were most targeted by Snape in the past, have long been accustomed to Snape's double standards.

The two of them are now more concerned about whether Professor Blaine's lost staff is hidden in Filch's office!

The ceiling of the Great Hall faithfully reflects the night outside the castle.

The moon carried a blush, and even the spacious auditorium was shrouded in a faint scarlet light.

The three Harrys had nothing to do with the strange atmosphere of the large auditorium.

The three of them ran all the way to the corridor on the right side of the foyer, turned a corner, and stopped at the door of the office, panting.

“We really want it”

When things came to a close, Ron was a little unsure. He glanced at the office with no light through the cracks in the door, and hesitantly turned to Harry.

"Didn't you notice, Ron-"

Harry's face was as gloomy as Snape's, who had just discovered a few people wandering at night.

"Filch is not patrolling the castle, and his Lady Norris is not hunting down little wizards!"

"Get out of the way-"

Neville was very decisive. He didn't know where he found his handsome sword that was envied by all the little wizards in Hogwarts.

The blade of the sword was raised, outlining a bright crescent moon in the dim air!

Snap!

The old wooden door opened in response, and with the creaking sound, the crack in the door gradually widened.

"Is he dead?"

Ron's voice was shaking like his body in the breathless suffocation.

The light from the torch passed through the gap in the open wooden door and cast fan-shaped spots on the gray, cold floor of the office.

Harry felt that every breath of air he breathed was so biting that it almost froze his internal organs into ice!

Filch fell to the ground, his face was crimson purple, his eyes were closed, and Mrs. Norris lay beside him.

It was impossible to tell whether Filch was alive or not by whether his chest was rising and falling.

Because Filch's chest was pressed by a heavy cabinet. Harry had seen this cabinet before. It was filled with all kinds of contraband he had confiscated from young wizards. There was also a label on the cabinet saying "Dangerous items, do not touch"!

Neville raised the sword to his chest, leaned sideways, squinted his eyes, and carefully put his head into the room. After a few seconds, he exhaled lightly,

"You guys take a look--"

Neville pushed the door wider and walked in first, his eyes fixed on a wall in the office.

Harry also followed into Filch's narrow little office and looked in the direction of Neville's eyes.

The cabinet was overturned, and on the wall where the cabinet was attached, there was a long and narrow niche with rough edges. Originally, it should have contained something, but now, the hidden things in the niche have been taken away.

"Oh, thank God, he's still alive!"

Standing at the door, Ron carefully observed Filch. When he found that the dust on the ground near Filch's nose was disturbed by his breath, he breathed a sigh of relief and then shouted in surprise.

Ron's discovery also relaxed Neville and Harry's tense nerves.

Filch was indeed a person that all the little wizards hated, and Harry and Neville would never say that they liked Filch against their will.

But no matter what, Filch was a part of Hogwarts, and they hoped that he could live healthily.

"Wingardium Leviosa--"

Ron pulled out his wand and chanted a spell, and the heavy cabinet slowly floated up, while Neville and Harry dragged Filch to the side on the left and right and let him lean on the chair.

"Stunning spell--"

Harry, who had taken physical education classes, was already very familiar with these basic dueling spells. He fiddled with Filch's eyelids and made an accurate judgment based on the pupil reaction.

"Not only that--"

Neville's face was as gloomy as water. He looked at Filch's slightly abnormal chest.

"He broke at least two ribs. I guess they were crushed by the big cabinet. It's so pitiful. He is so old."

"Then we..."

Ron was pale, panting rapidly, and looked hesitant and helpless.

"What should we do now?"

Neville hesitated, didn't speak, and looked at Harry.

"Separate efforts--"

Harry's green eyes sparkled, he took a deep breath, and spoke quickly,

"Ron, you take Filch to the hospital ward, Neville, you go inform Professor McGonagall, tell her about Filch... let her inform Professor Dumbledore."

"What about you?"

"I'll go find Hermione--"

Harry said,

"At this time, we need her help!"
