Hogwarts: I am Voldemort
Chapter 186 Putting the Blame on Dumbledore
Lucius Malfoy was able to enter the school, of course, not just by sending those magic items.
What really made him step here was the board's distrust of Dumbledore.
You know, the last time a student died at Hogwarts was 49 years ago. Half a century has passed.
When such a big event happens, of course someone from the board of directors needs to come to the school to take a look and stay there for a long time, so it won't be a big problem.
This was the reason why Dumbledore didn't stop him - he couldn't stop the board of directors' request, especially since the request was not excessive.
This gave Lucius the opportunity to act in the castle, and the first thing he did was to take away Voldemort's potions book hidden in the Room of Requirement.
He put this book at home and hid it for the first time, so that he could really have time to integrate into Hogwarts.
"Who doesn't love Hogwarts?" he said at a welcome dinner attended by a handful of professors. "We all studied here, didn't we?"
Several professors who had a good relationship with him responded with smiles.
"You can do the same with us, Mr. Malfoy."
Gilderoy Lockhart licked his face and flattered, "The Malfoy family has always supported Hogwarts. You and your family are the heroes of Hogwarts."
No one was willing to cater to him. Professor Lockhart seemed to have told a particularly cold joke, which made everyone feel embarrassed for a moment.
"Hogwarts will always belong to everyone. Even if there is no Malfoy family, there must be someone to fund it. Therefore, this is the glory of Malfoy, not the glory of Hogwarts. Come, let us wish Hogwarts a better future." The better.”
Lucius raised his glass, and everyone's emotions were aroused, and they all raised their glasses.
Professor Lockhart smiled awkwardly and raised his glass together, but no one liked him.
Entering Hogwarts was his worst decision, and his character had been completely ruined in class.
"Why don't you see my junior disciple Snape?" Lucius asked everyone after three drinks.
"East Tower." Professor Trelawney said with drunken eyes, "I can always see him there these days, and I don't know what he is busy with."
Lucius smiled and said that he would visit this junior, and then continued to toast with everyone.
When the dinner was over, he rushed to the east tower.
"Go on, Mr. Potter, this kind of power is not even enough to tickle that man."
Snape's voice came from behind the heavy wooden door, and Lucius stopped and listened for a moment.
"Click."
The door was pushed open by him gently, and he saw Harry Potter holding his wand sideways and striking Snape with spells like a sword.
"Bang."
Snape knocked away the last spell and looked at Lucius at the door.
"Mr. Potter, that's it for today," Snape said.
"Okay, Professor."
Harry also saw Lucius, he said hello and left.
"Very creative way of swinging the staff, Severus. I have tried to fight with fencing, but it is too physically demanding. Can he do it?" Lucius asked as he walked into the tower.
"We don't need to discuss this, Senior Malfoy, what do you want from me?" Snape asked with a stern face.
"I just wanted to ask why you didn't attend my dinner party."
Lucius glanced at Snape's neck, which made Snape twist his neck unnaturally, "But now I want to know, the person in your sentence 'It's not enough to tickle that person'" , who are you referring to?”
"You know who it is."
"I don't know." Lucius' eyes became cold for the first time since entering the castle, "I need you to tell me."
"Lucius, are you forcing me?" Snape asked dissatisfied.
They have a good relationship and have been in contact since they were in school.
The wealthy Malfoy family saw Snape's talent early on, and they were willing to invest in Slytherin students.
Even when Snape joined the Death Eaters, Lucius introduced him - there was a six-year age difference between the two, but they had some friendship.
"I'm not forcing you, Severus, you know how much the Dark Lord likes you." Lucius said after throwing a magic spell on the wooden door behind him.
"Dare to mention that person's name in Hogwarts, you are not afraid of Dumbledore..."
"He is still on the board of directors, Severus. I know his whereabouts. This is the purpose of my coming here." Lucius interrupted him and said, "Don't change the subject. Give me an explanation. That person is who?"
Snape licked his lips. His mouth felt dry.
"It's not anyone, it's just an imaginary enemy. Are you satisfied?" Snape said angrily.
"Click."
Lucius twisted his cane, which made a crisp sound in the room.
Snape tightened the wand in his hand and looked at Lucius with cold eyes.
"Are you sure you want to take action here, Senior Malfoy?" Snape asked.
"uncertain."
Lucius clicked again and tightened the cane, "You disappoint me, Junior Snape."
Snape remained silent. He understood what Lucius meant, but he had nothing to say about it.
"I hope that next time we meet, we will not be enemies." After Lucius finished speaking, he turned to leave.
"Wait a minute." Snape stopped Lucius. He hesitated and said, "It's that kid. He wants revenge."
"At the cost of death?" Lucius asked with his back to Snape, "After losing Lily, are you going to lose those eyes that you miss forever?"
Snape took a deep breath and glared at Lucius with dissatisfaction, but he did not speak to refute the other person's words.
"I can't persuade him. Harry is a very independent boy." He said with some dejection.
"clatter."
The cane struck the ground, and Lucius turned back to look at Snape: "Of course you can't persuade him, just like you couldn't persuade the Dark Lord to go to the Potter's house."
Snape had a pained expression on his face, and Lucius wasn't surprised.
Ten years ago, he was Voldemort's most trusted second-in-command, and he knew everything about the Death Eaters.
This includes the prophetic message delivered by Snape and his plea to Voldemort to let Lily go.
Even before meeting Voldemort, Snape asked Lucius for help and asked how to rescue Lily - he looked like a headless fly at that time, completely panicked.
"Respect what you have to respect and do what you have to do, Severus. If you can't guide Harry's thoughts, then be prepared to lose again."
Lucius looked at Snape who was becoming more and more painful, curled his lips and said, "I can't give you any more advice, Severus."
"No, senior, please tell me how to do it. You always have a way, don't you?" Snape looked a little broken. He could no longer bear the pain.
"Put the blame on Dumbledore, Snape, and the Dark Lord has laid the foundation." Lucius sneered, "You can refuse, but that will only make you taste the pain of loss again."
After finishing speaking, Lucius turned around and walked out without saying another word.
In the tower, Snape collapsed against the wall in pain, his lips opening and closing weakly.
"Lily, Lily, what should I do..."
He said in a voice that only he could hear.
