Hogwarts: I am Voldemort

Chapter 523 A Different Dumbledore

Boundless darkness, a silent world.

If he hadn't wanted to explore the truth, if he hadn't suffered enough from the "torture" of death, he would never have stepped through that "door."

This is a world without time, where death is a luxury.

Wandering in this world, Voldemort had no idea where the end was.

I don't know how long it took, it could be a day, or it could be a year. In short, before Voldemort was upset, some different creatures appeared around him.

They are all palm-sized, plate-shaped, and emit a faint light.

When Voldemort saw them, he immediately felt joyful in his heart.

Not long after he last saw the conch of time in this world, he entered the world between the cracks.

So in his mind, it was a sign of being close to a place to stop.

No matter where we stop, it's better than wandering endlessly in the dark.

With this thought in mind, he tried to speed up and rush toward more points on the conch of time. But not long after he rushed forward, a phantom of a curtain suddenly appeared in front of him.

"Huh~~"

There were gusts of wind sound in the shadow curtain, and Voldemort only hesitated for a moment before rushing into it.

In the process, he also used the world of memory to capture several time conchs - although he already had one, he couldn't help but want to get a few more to see what difference they had.

The world of memory rushed through the curtain, the darkness disappeared instantly, and the blue sky and white clouds appeared.

He glanced around and found that he was floating in the sky like a cloud, with an unobstructed view of the earth beneath his feet.

Looking down, Voldemort's eyes widened in surprise, because below him was Hogwarts.

"Wait, it seems a little different."

Voldemort thought to himself as he looked carefully at this Hogwarts and found that it was indeed different.

Compared to the Hogwarts he was familiar with, this castle had a more Gothic style.

For example, there were patches of dead trees in the Forbidden Forest, the color of the castle was darker, and the decorations on the outer walls of the castle included skull-like sculptures that he was familiar with that were not found in Hogwarts.

This strange world made Voldemort wonder if he had fallen into a dream.

However, as soon as this idea came to his mind, he noticed a tall figure wearing a dark robe standing in front of this castle that was 90% similar to Hogwarts.

White hair, white beard, wrinkled face, crescent moon glasses, and a pair of blue glasses behind them.

Except for the simple and dark robe, which was different from the person he was familiar with, there was almost no difference in other places.

"Come down, Tom, I've been waiting for you a long time."

The figure in front of the castle said loudly, and took out his wand - the dark elder wand - and waved it in front of him.

In an instant, a figure appeared opposite the old man.

"Just use this temporary body for a while. You won't be here for long anyway."

The old man continued, and then took two steps back, signaling Voldemort to enter the figure he had transformed.

After a moment of hesitation, Voldemort fell to the ground and entered the temporary body.

Twist your shoulders, it feels good.

Raising his head and looking at the familiar face, Voldemort frowned in confusion: "Albus Dumbledore?"

"it's me."

The old man nodded in agreement, but his voice was not familiar to Voldemort.

Speaking of voice may be a bit biased, but using tone of voice is more accurate.

The Dumbledore he was familiar with had a medium tone when he spoke, giving people a warm feeling.

When the person in front of him spoke, his voice had a slight upward pitch, giving people a provocative and powerful feeling.

"Although you look exactly the same, I feel..."

"Go to the principal's office and say, Tom, I don't want to bask in the sun in front of the castle during this rare holiday."

The different Dumbledore said, turned around and walked towards the castle.

Voldemort frowned, but still followed in.

Walking into the hall, the first thing that catches the eye are two evil ghost sculptures with teeth and claws.

If it were the Dumbledore whom Voldemort was familiar with, he would definitely not allow such a sculpture to stand in the hall for a long time.

He might allow students to do this on Halloween or other holidays, but certainly not as a daily decoration.

"I guess I need an explanation."

Following the footsteps of the different Dumbledore, he stopped in front of a door, and Voldemort couldn't wait to ask.

"Although you won't stay here for long, Tom, this time can be longer, so we don't have to rush."

A different Dumbledore smiled at him and said, that smile looked a little sinister.

Then he reached out and pressed on the door. The door opened, and Voldemort realized that it was actually an elevator.

"This is Hogwarts?" Voldemort asked.

"Yes, I'm Dumbledore too, I'm sure it's true." A different Dumbledore said while motioning for Voldemort to follow him into the elevator.

"The Hogwarts I know cannot use modern technology." Voldemort stepped into the elevator and said as the elevator door closed.

"I made some adjustments to the magic, you know, changing with the times, we can't always stick to the old ways."

A different Dumbledore said with a smile, and then added, "Isn't this exactly what you hoped for?"

This question made Voldemort frown even deeper.

He really wanted Hogwarts, or the wizarding world as a whole, to keep pace with the times, and that's exactly what he did.

But the question is, where is this?

How does the person in front of me know what I am thinking?

"Is it an illusion?" Voldemort asked.

"No."

"Is it a dream?"

"No."

"what is that?"

Faced with Voldemort's inquiry, the different Dumbledore did not answer.

Because the elevator door happened to open, he walked straight down.

"boom."

The stone statue in the same position as in the memory jumped away, and the rotating building of the Hogwarts principal's office appeared in front of him.

A different Dumbledore stepped in and stood on the steps.

"Stand still and don't move. This is also electric."

He reminded Voldemort, but the building moved faster, so Voldemort almost fell down.

"Be more cautious, Tom. Your enemy is watching you. There is no room for sloppiness in this battle." A different Dumbledore said, but he made no move to help Voldemort.

Fortunately, although this body was newly obtained, it was easier to control than the body he had obtained from the Pyramid of Khufu before, so although he staggered a bit, he did not really fall.

The two went up the stairs, and the principal's office appeared in front of them, which was roughly the same as in their memory, but with a slightly different style.

"How about unicorn blood with honey?"

Before Voldemort could sit down, a different Dumbledore had already placed a cup in front of him, "It's the old blood you drank. I got it with great difficulty."

Looking at the familiar face that was obviously smiling but gave off a sinister look, Voldemort nodded slightly.

He didn't rush to ask anymore, because he knew that the person in front of him should be the person Nick Flamel said.

It's both familiar and strange, as expected.
