Hogwarts: I can inherit the legacy of the dead
Chapter 109 Two Items with Last Wills
"Shell's spell book?" Meka Anders looked at the handwritten spell book hidden in the corner.
The book looked yellow on the surface, with some curls on the sides, and the dark gray cover was stained with blood, as if its owner had experienced a fight and died in a corner.
Meka picked it up and immediately felt a vibration in his mind, with a vague figure appearing in it.
He opened the book of spells, which was filled with knowledge about many spells, mostly common spells. There were dense notes and insights on both sides of the paper.
It can be seen that the wizard named Sher attaches great importance to this knowledge. He has turned over and over and written over and over again, and there seems to be new ink on it.
"It seems that he died not long ago." This thought flashed through Meka's mind.
"You seem to be very interested in this kind of items?" At this time, a thin man wearing a hood and looking like a philistine walked over and smiled.
"What? Do you have one?" Meka asked casually.
The thin man nodded and whispered: "I'll wait for you outside. It's always inappropriate to say this here."
As he spoke, he glanced at the slightly drunk boss beside him and walked out before Meka could respond.
Meka glanced at him and looked through the old items on the shelf for a while. Soon, he showed a disappointed look. It seemed that only this spell book carried the 'last wish'.
"Forget it, it's good to find one." Meka shook his head, took the spell book to check out, and then walked out of the store.
In the night, he saw a thin man standing guard by the roadside, already carrying a large package in his hand, rubbing his hands and smiling:
"I am a traveling businessman passing through here. Guests may wish to come and have a look. Maybe I can buy something I like."
"Oh?" Meka stepped forward.
The thin man spread out the big package. There were indeed many old things on it, but most of them were in disgraceful tatters. Three-quarters of the parchment was burned, and there was nothing written inside at all.
The rest are mostly broken porcelain pieces, tarnished crystal balls... In short, most of them are unreadable and have no appearance at all.
"Guest, look at this. This must be in line with your preferences..." The thin man smiled, showing his slightly yellowed teeth, and handed over a rag cap.
Meka looked at it and could see that this rag hat once seemed to be some kind of luxurious item. The fabric and workmanship were good, so it should be worth a lot of money.
But unfortunately, it is now stained with loess, and it seems to be dug out of the soil, and it is also in disgraceful condition.
More importantly, Meka didn't feel any movement in his mind space.
"No, I don't want this." Meka shook his head.
The thin man handed over several more items.
But after reading it, Meka still refused. It was not what he wanted. He shook his head slightly again, with the intention of leaving.
The thin man suddenly became anxious: "Guest, don't leave in a hurry. This was left behind by a descendant of a pure-blood family. It is a special memory ball. It may record something precious and has great collection value... …”
"No, thank you," Meka said.
He was a little regretful. He originally thought he could take advantage of this traveling businessman, but it seemed he thought too much.
But looking back, I have been here several times in the past few days. Being able to harvest the spell book with the last wish today is already considered a good fortune.
Meka was about to turn around and leave when he was suddenly startled. His eyes fell on the thin man's chest, where there was a dark copper-colored brooch.
"Can I have a look at this brooch?" he asked.
The thin man was also stunned for a moment, then took off the brooch and handed it to Meka with a smile:
"My guest, you are really discerning. Although this brooch looks a bit frugal, it is actually very famous. I bought this brooch from a wizard who lives alone. He seems to be a very powerful wizard..."
When Meka pinched the brooch, she had already reacted in her mind.
He nodded: "I bought it."
Then, he paid the money and took the brooch and spell book into his arms, feeling happy in his heart.
Today's harvest was indeed good. He actually came across two old items with "last wishes" on them. It seemed that good luck had finally favored him.
After returning to the dormitory, Meka changed out of her robe and went to sleep with the blood-stained spell book.
…
In the next few days, Meka was busy fulfilling her last wish in the 'Book of Spells', busy in Hogwarts, checking out the classics in the library, and then immersed in refining potions.
This is because the owner of the blood-stained curse book had a last wish to cure his daughter who was suffering from a strange disease.
It just so happened that Meka had heard about this disease, so she had been looking for the formula for a magic potion that could cure this strange disease and tried to refine it.
On this day, Meka had just finished her work on her 'last wish' and walked out of the owl hut. When she passed the Quidditch pitch, she saw a huge crowd of people.
Only then did he realize that he seemed to have missed a Quidditch match because he was busy with his 'last wish'.
The Quidditch match was obviously over. Amidst the cheers and screams, a Bludger suddenly exploded in the air, emitting thick black smoke, as if it was attacked by a curse.
Not long after, Harry was helped out of the Quidditch field. One of his hands drooped, limp, as if he had no bones. Ron and Hermione followed closely, with worried expressions on their faces.
"Is this?" Seeing them coming towards each other, Meka showed "surprise" at the right time.
Harry forced a smile: "It's nothing, just the bone is gone."
"It's all Professor Lockhart's fault." Ron complained, "I don't think he can do anything except make trouble."
Hermione also sighed: "It's a long story."
She explained that the Bludger seemed to be controlled by someone again and was going to attack Harry.
In order to win the game, Harry caught the Golden Snitch and broke his arm because of the interference of the Bludger.
Originally, a fracture was a small matter. As long as Madam Pomfrey prescribed some potions, it would heal quickly, but Professor Lockhart suddenly spoke up and claimed that he was good at healing such injuries.
As a result, he cast a spell and Harry's bones were directly changed.
"I should stay in the school hospital for a while this time." Hermione was also helpless. Professor Lockhart didn't know why, but he seemed to always make mistakes when casting spells. This was not the first time.
As the few people walked and talked, Meka suddenly heard Professor Lockhart's voice.
He turned around and saw Madam Pomfrey and Professor Lockhart from the hospital ward coming out of the arena.
Professor Lockhart looked a little embarrassed, while Madam Pomfrey seemed to blame him for his rash behavior. She glared at him and then followed Maeka and the others.
…
In the dream space, golden light fell on Maeka like rain.
Maeka finally fulfilled his last wish and accepted the legacy of the owner of the "Spell Book".
"Received the legacy of Vaughan Pitt."
"Learning experience of a spell-obsessed person."
In the large golden light, Maeka felt a buzzing in his head, as if a tide was pouring in, causing his head to swell and ache.
Then, he saw a large picture flashing in his mind.
…
